What is important to me in a job is, feeling a sense of joy when getting up in the morning to go to work. To be able to express myself at work and feel as sense of accomplishment at the end of my workday.

I see myself working with computers, in the design field or networking field in the next 3-5 years. Also continuing my freelance work in the illustration field.

I feel that a supervisor is one who is knowledgeable in the supervising of others. A supervisor, who cares not only for the final product, but is also concerned for the well being of his subordinates. A supervisor should be knowledgeable in the job he/she is fulfilling. He should be willing to share information and new ideas with his subordinates, and be open to receiving the same information back.

I am currently unemployed so to make my current job more ideal would be to find employment. I am currently seeking employment in the computer fields of web design and networking.

The changes I need to consider for myself would be to continue to take classes pertaining to my field of study. I would also like to finish my goal towards my AA degree, I am short just a few credits now and I believe I could finish these in one semester.

Santa Rosa Junior College has been a tremendous help by offering the collection of classes and great teachers needed for my personal growth. The college has kept up with the need for new classes in the ever-changing world of technology. The option to take classes online has also helped in taking classes at all hours of the day.

The work experience program that I am in has been a fulfilling task. I was assigned an internship at O’Reilly and Associates as a System Administrator Intern. I was a little hesitant at first, due to the fact that my course of study has been mainly in the web design field. The employees at O’Reilly all have been great, all most too much. I feel like a regular employee there, and it will be very hard to leave. My immediate supervisor has been willing to share any information that I needed or wanted. The employee that has assisted me more than anyone was Kirk. He was always there to guide me and give his own ideas on what ever we were working.

This has been a great experience.
