Client Content Meeting - Business Web Design / Web Content

Let's take a look at how things are going.

Ambrietta Gonzalez from the Extended Child Care Coalition group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The communication is going well are team member are responsive and reply quickly. We have been using Skype and email.

Project Accomplishments -
I have about 50% of he content and maybe more depending on what the client still plans to add new. I believe the client is supposed to have this content to us within the next week. At this time I have completed what I need.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group is actively interacting with the client. The client is great at responding and very helpful. I do not see any problems at this time.

Problems or Concerns:

Kyle Janssen from the PALS group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have met her in person once, and received a few emails from her addressed to the whole team.

Project Accomplishments -
We have a sizable portion of the content, at least %50. After working with the current content, we have a better idea of what else we need, and the client is working on creating it now.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our contact is very nice, willing to help, and familiar with technology. Our one problem so far is that we want to create the site using WordPress, but the she is already signed up for a service called SquareSpace, which does not seem easily compatible with WordPress, and has already made a financial commitment.

Problems or Concerns:

Sue McGee from the Paws as Loving Support group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have email communication with our client. The frequency has been consistent.

Project Accomplishments -
We have quite a bit of content. Our client has been updating our DropBox folder often. I'm not sure if a deadline for content has been given to the client. I believe our PM is on top of it, however. I have not started on my part of the Web Proposal yet, although I do not think that I will need anything from the client in order to produce it.

Client/Team Interactions:
No problems. Our team and/or client communication has been very good to date.

Problems or Concerns:

Scott Hinde from the Russian Riverkeeper.org group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I haven't had a lot of communication with the client as it is more appropriate for the other team members to create a report with the client and what they need.

Project Accomplishments -
We have 1/2 of the content and will be recieving the rest by the middle of next month.

Client/Team Interactions:
The problems that we are having revolve around setting up a database and a backup database for the website.

Problems or Concerns:

Alex Aspinall from the USGBC Green Building group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I spoke tour our client this week on the phone, but communication is still mostly email (several times a week).

Project Accomplishments -
I think we have about 50%-60% of the content at this point. I do not need any additional info to complete the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
We have had some problems this past week that were resolved with help from Linda. Everything seems to be going smoothly again.

Problems or Concerns:

Cynthia Filippetti from the Healthy Kids Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had our face to face meeting with Eliot and we advised him of the information needed and that we are on a timeframe which unfortunately we have not been able to follow due to the delay in being able to set up a time to meet with the client. I am hopeful that we will be able to obtain the information needed to complete this project.

Project Accomplishments -
We have received some content maybe 50% but per Eliot that there are changes that need to be made to the content and he is to provide what he wants to add and what needs to be removed. He is to review their existing site and provide the pages they want to keep and the pages they want to eliminate. We have asked that the content info be provided ASAP.

Client/Team Interactions:
We have had our Face to Face and we have communicated via email. The client (Eliot)seems to want to provide the needed info it's just that we need the info sooner rather than later at this point.

Problems or Concerns:

Stephanie Shea from the PALS group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The client has ceased email communication unexpectedly. She has sent a few messages and lots of content.

Project Accomplishments -
We have 80% of the content, now that we have the media. We are still waiting for the content for the new pages. The client is aware of deadlines and has stated that she will get us as much content as possible and will accept that which she can get us to be 100%.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group is excellent at communicating. I see no problems.

Problems or Concerns:

Eshawn Zuniga from the Redwood health group from the class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We finally had our face to face last Thursday. And we have emailed back and forth with the info needed to complete the tasks.

Project Accomplishments -
I think we have 50% of the content, but I am not sure since I am working on the design.

Client/Team Interactions:
The only problem I see is that we got a late start and we have a bit of catch up to do, but I think we'll be alright.

Problems or Concerns:

Annette Kirchner from the PALS group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have been in contact with our client via email primarily. Some members of the team have received direct email - for example, the client has shared additional images and video with the Designer and IMD directly. Our project manager has also been in contact and has sent a weekly update.

Project Accomplishments -
I would say we have over 50% of the content, perhaps 75%. We could potentially make do with what we have, but the site would be even better with additional detail. I'm not sure if we have deadlines in place for receiving the additional content. Our client has been responsive, so perhaps that is not an issue. I will likely need some content, possibly captions and video content, in order to complete final products, but I think I have enough in order to complete my part of the Web Proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
I do not see any problems with our client communication at this stage.

Problems or Concerns:

Michael Januleski from the The Salvation Army Double Punches Boxing Club‏ group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Face to face and e-mail and often.

Project Accomplishments -
We have almost 100 percent of the content. We are basically remodeling the site. Once we have have most of our remodeling done then we will have Maria give any other input. Roberto is beginning his video production and is scheduled to shoot.

Client/Team Interactions:
Group and client is just fine :)

Problems or Concerns:

William Parks from the Petaluma Educational Foundation (PEF) group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We've had face to face meetings and email contact. Two meetings so far, and 2+ emails (ballpark) per week on average.

Project Accomplishments -
About 70%? The client understands the magnitude of the project as it was initially, so it has been cut down to a much more manageable size. Some of the pages she initially wanted will only be added if time permits, and the content is being prioritized to where we're taking care of the most important stuff first, then adding if we can - keeping in mind the date the content will be frozen, of course.

Client/Team Interactions:
I feel that the interaction has gone well. There was some confusion surrounding the content, but with a face to face meeting, all was clarified.

Problems or Concerns:

Brian Hamby from the Recourse Mediation Services group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
It's been okay. She generally takes 4 or so days to email me back.

Project Accomplishments -
We have all the content. We have all the information we need.

Client/Team Interactions:
I don't think they are talking to her much, but I'm not sure.

Problems or Concerns:

Problems or Concerns:

Lisa Byrnes from the Petaluma Educational Foundation group from the class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Team has been emailing client however client hasn't responded to meeting requests or about times available to film.

Project Accomplishments -
70% of content? We still need content for one section on the website and footage to work with for video editing. I need to get the video footage by mid-late March. I have photos from client to create a sample slideshow for Web Proposal.I would like footage from client asap to begin editing video.

Client/Team Interactions:
Group is interacting with client by email, however client sometimes doesn't reply in a reasonable time or ignores email (for ex: haven't heard a reply from client about video)

Problems or Concerns:

Alec Primavera from the Martial Arts Youth Institute group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
communicated by email

Project Accomplishments -
the content is present and there are no deadlines for it

Client/Team Interactions:
everything seems to be going great

Problems or Concerns:

Carolyn Warren from the SSU–CCE group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
face to face, email, and google docs. I think we touch base almost every day now.

Project Accomplishments -
Well we had about 50% but then she added some more so for all I know we still may be at 50%. We put a deadline to have 100% in by March 5th and that she will sign off on all of the content by March 12. The only thing I need from her right now is for her to finish w/ her content. I just got approval today to get access to the SSU server and templates.

Client/Team Interactions:
I am the one doing most of the interacting w/ Merith. The biggest issue I have is getting her to simplify her approach but at this point in the game I think once the content is all in and signed off it will be a bit easier.

Problems or Concerns:

Barry Lindstrom from the Equi-ed group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
No communication by me with the client. I am still waiting for the templates from the Designer.

Project Accomplishments -
The client says that what they have provided is 50%, but it looks thin to me. I estimate we really have 30%, but it was enough to put up the shell site. We have lots of photographs, some from original client site, some taken by us. This may be a real problem getting the client to wade through so many pictures and how to integrate the into the site. we only thought of getting releases today, and the client will be asked, but this could be a significant problem. I feel behind on what I need to do prepare for the proposal. I will arrange meetings with team/client to resolve this.

Client/Team Interactions:
It seems that the client is of the perfectionist controlling type, which I did not get the impression of at the meeting. The Designer, Gina, is going back and forth with the client, trying to determine what is really wanted. My turn in that barrel comes soon.

Problems or Concerns:

GINA LA FORGE from the Equi-ed Equine Education group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have been in contact by email with the client usually on a daily basis, sometimes every other day. I have had one face-to-face meeting and two skype meetings.

Project Accomplishments -
We have 50% of the content. Yes, the client has been informed of the deadlines. I have all the information to complete my part of the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
At this point in time I feel that we are communicating well with the client. I don't see any problems right now.

Problems or Concerns:

Yoshinori Abe from the Russain Riverkeepr group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Kate and I had a face to face meeting. We talked about the layout issue. We also installed the Drupal on her computer.

Project Accomplishments -
I haven't heard from CDs, and I am not sure the situations.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think we have a problem with communication. I don't have any problems, but other people seem not read e-mail or response in 24 hours. I am not really sure what it is going on

Problems or Concerns:

Joan Clark from the Double Punches / Salvation Army group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I went to the site this week when the kids (boxing students) were there doing their activities, so I got a real feel of the program. I met with Richard, the main founder, and also met some of the volunteers and coaches. I was able to show them a preliminary version of the logo and got lots of feedback about it, as well as some small changes. This was the 3rd time I met face-to-face with the client. Early last week, she emailed us some logos to work with.

Project Accomplishments -
I'm guessing we have about 30-40% of the content -- basically whatever was already on the website (which may actually be most of it), with some direct discussion about what stays and what changes. Some of the media content will be created by our IMD. The client hasn't sent her 50% content "homework" in as scheduled (due 2/14), but I did speak to her about it when I went in on Tuesday, and she planned to work on it at the end of the week. We will check with her again after the holiday weekend, if we still have no new materials.

Client/Team Interactions:
I don't see any real problems. I think each one of us has a good relationship with the client, and are moving along pretty well so far. The client may be just a little late with the content, but I think we have plenty to work from, given that a lot of it comes from their old website.

Problems or Concerns:

Stephen Ferguson from the Russian River Keeper group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have had email contact with the client only. All other communication from my team (face to face and phone) is transcribed. I email her once a week.

Project Accomplishments -
50% received. The deadlines for the next content are in. I don't believe I need additional info from the client.

Client/Team Interactions:
I see the PM mainly communicating with the client. We did have some communication issues, but I feel we worked them out. I am still having issues with drupal.

Problems or Concerns:

Kyle Audiss from the CS Department video group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
It's been mostly face to face and I've enjoyed my time with my client and also learned alot from it at well. We talked about ideas that we've come up with, looked at examples that they wanted and how they want to see their rough drafts on youtube.

Project Accomplishments -
At this point it would be more like 35%. We have the material and knoledge of what we want and how it should be done, but we have to start and finish the project. Thats the 75% of the whole project. Dead lines are in place. No information needed for me at this time for the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think it's working well. No problems that I can think of at this time really.

Problems or Concerns:

Albert Robledo from the Salvation Army Double Punches Boxing Club group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Mostly it has been email. I met her face to face one time.

Project Accomplishments -
We are going at the right pace. We have about 50 percent.

Client/Team Interactions:
We have been interacting with email. I know some of the team members met with her more than 1 time. I don't see any problems.

Problems or Concerns:

Scott Hubbard from the Petaluma Educational Foundation group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Email is the primary form of communication I have had with the client; the frequency varies with the task. If I am trying to set up a meeting, it seems to take several messages to get the meeting setup. If I am just trying to communicate something to the client it only take one email. I sent three emails to the current web development company and they have gone unanswered; I will try a telephone call tomorrow. We have two face-to-face meetings, the initial client meeting and the follow up meeting. I am in the process of setting up a programmer’s concept meeting for hopefully this week.

Project Accomplishments -
According the to the CD’s we have over 50 percent of the web content and we do have deadlines for the content not yet received. As for the programming, I need to have the meeting to iron out the details of what is expected; I do have a general idea. I don’t a have any of the ISP or host information I need for the technical brief; I d have three email requests to the current web developer but have not heard a word yet; will try a telephone call tomorrow.

Client/Team Interactions:
The interactions with the client are very good. We did have a little problem, at first, getting the client to understand her role in the web content; however, that has all been straightened out. We also have a new 72-hour advanced notice meeting rule and there seems to be a little bit of a problem getting meeting scheduled more often than not. Other than that, the last face-to-face meeting, the follow up meeting, went extremely well.

Problems or Concerns:

Caroline Quintanilla from the Horses Building Communities group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The team has met with the client with the PM/Prog and CD in person. I was on skype. I have met with the client via skype 1x, and the CD has also met with her one time face-to-face. The client replied to all emails and we're moving along.

Project Accomplishments -
According to the CD, she currently has about 80% of the content for the site. She has created a timeline for all the content----the client is consistently meeting these deadlines and actually getting everything to us early. I think she was inspired by her meeting with the CD. At this point, I have what I need for the web proposal. I'm finalizing the logo and colors for the design. The navigation has been tentatively approved.

Client/Team Interactions:
It seems that the client is much more comfortable working face-to-face, rather than via email/skype/phone. She seems to have a good bond with our CD, so for now, I think we'll work that way (since I'm unable to meet her face-to-face)

Problems or Concerns:

Dylan Stefanisko from the US Green Building Council group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We've had 1 face to face meeting and have been communicating via email a few times.

Project Accomplishments -
We have about half of the content, and we have deadlines set for the rest of it.

Client/Team Interactions:
We've been interacting fine so far.

Problems or Concerns:

Claudia Andrea Raschke from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We had 2 meetings so far. The production is at a 50%. We have also 50 % of content.

Project Accomplishments -
50%

Client/Team Interactions:
constant communications ... a lot of emails from the Client and the PM, we keep on touch every day. No problems with the client do far

Problems or Concerns:

Craig Stewart from the Martial Arts Youth Institute group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Have been communicating by email 2-3 times weekly working on details of website. Fine tuning color, fonts, web platform, and possible upgrade for their current server to be able to support WordPress.

Project Accomplishments -
I would say 60-80% of content is already available. We still need to gather more image and video information. Client is putting together CD of image information. Yes, I have put in place a deadline to receive information by this week. Need to continue to gather information to present for web proposal. Have notified team that they will need to contribute parts so that we can all have what is needed a few days ahead.

Client/Team Interactions:
Group is interacting well with the client. There is direct communication with counter parts of team and if needed I can add support. Right now the major trouble would just be the decision process as we are working with a client who has a board and I can see towards the end that could take time to get approval in certain areas of the site. We might have to just continue to move forward and present parts as is for approval.

Problems or Concerns:

Roberto Vargas-Tapia from the Salvation Army: Double Punches group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have had a face to face meeting with the client early in January. We are currently communicating by email. Our last email was in regards for the video and pictures but I haven not received the reply from the media center about checking out a video camera.

Project Accomplishments -
I have a lot of plans and written goals to accomplish but have not started them since I have no video camera to use. My goal is to get video shoots by next week.

Client/Team Interactions:
No, the client and the group are interacting very well. Mike our PM is always ccing us about any updates.

Problems or Concerns:

Stephanie Schack from the PALS group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
So far we've had one face-to-face meeting as week as a few email updates between our PM and the client.

Project Accomplishments -
We about 80% of the content so far. As of right now, we're not sure when we'll be able to get the rest of the content since our client will be completely out of touch for the next ten days but the client is well informed about what the remaining content is and the deadlines. Yes, I need the content to complete my part of the Web Proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
Most of the communication with the client is through our PM. So far, this has worked out great for us.

Problems or Concerns:

Jennifer Maurer from the Horses Building Communities group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
This week was an excellent week for communication with the client, her team and myself. I feel like I have established a good rapport with the client and her team. We met on Friday, February 17th for 2.5 hours and went over all of the content as well as touched a bit on the design and logo. We followed up with a lot of emails over the weekend.

Project Accomplishments -
I received about 80% of the content. I set deadlines for the client and her team on Friday. She has met most of them and has surpassed a few as well. I feel that I have all of the information needed to complete my part of the web proposal and if I have any questions come up before that I will be able to get in touch with Diana or Jeannie and get the answers I need.

Client/Team Interactions:
I was a bit nervous as the client seems to communicate better in person. It seems that having one team member meet with the client in person and having the remaining team members trust that one team members communication is working. I don't see any problems arising. We had a team meeting this week for 2 hours and helped each other through the new territory of Wordpress and Bluehost integration. We are working well as a team.

Problems or Concerns:

Monica Moura from the Sonoma County YMCA group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have had one meet up with them at the initial meeting. I have also emailed Claudia the IT person with no response about content however I heard through the grapevine I will be receiving content today via Erin. We have decided as a group its better to let Erin and Richard directly connect with the clients so as to not overwhelm them

Project Accomplishments -
I do not have any content until 4 oclock today. I have a deadline in place. I don't think I need info from the client in but they do need some new pictures so yes I may have to spend some time at the facility next week.

Client/Team Interactions:
We are interacting with the client very well and no problems arising so far

Problems or Concerns:

Rosa Carter from the Martial Arts Youth Institute group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The communication with the client is good, but I'm finding to be hard to get in touch with their IT guys. Email. Once or twice a week

Project Accomplishments -
I'm waiting for some information relative to their sever.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think we ere doing good. Although I'm personally disappointed that the client has chosen to stay with the old logo ( clipart) after showing so much enthusiasm for the new logo.

Mainly it has only been email. Besides the first face to face meeting, I have not met in person with the client. Other members of our team have though for specific guidance on pats of the project.

Project Accomplishments -
I have not received the information that I need to complete my part of the project. We have emailed, but it is more of a process than I thought it would be.

Client/Team Interactions:
Communication seems to be good with everyone in the group and the client. So far there does not seem to be any problems.

Problems or Concerns:

John Zeni from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had two face to face meetings with the principal people involved in the project. We have discussed their desires for the new website and have talked over the options available. We have been exchanging emails as needed.

Project Accomplishments -
With the existing website content available and other content trickling in I believe we are close to or over the 50% requirement for last week’s deadline. There is enough to get started on the new site. The client has been reminded of the timeline for the project and the need for the remainder of the content by mid-March.

Client/Team Interactions:
I believe things are progressing well. We have had positive responses to our interactions. I don’t see any problems at this point.

Problems or Concerns:

Skip Wallace from the Extended Childcare Coalition group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had frequent communication with our client, mostly via email. She has used email to send me important revisions that she wants done to the site, as well as a content flow chart. I also attended one of our PM/Client meetings via Skype, as did our Designer.

Project Accomplishments -
We have roughly 70% of the content so far, with no firm deadlines to receive the rest. Right now our team's IMD is focused on getting media content, since that is the most cumbersome of the %30 that we have not received. We have received the majority of the written content, and our client has been very easy to work with in this regard.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our group has been interacting very professionally with the client, and we have a solid understanding that we are computer people and she is not. Through our communication we have made constructive suggestions without being intimidating or rude. At this point I don't foresee any problems

Problems or Concerns:

Ron Capistrano from the Extended Child Care group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
This past week, I have only had contact with our client via e-mail. She seems to be a little overwhelmed with the various e-mails, requests and meetings our team has had with her over the past few weeks. From a design perspective, I am updating her about once a week, as the design progresses.

Project Accomplishments -
Our team has received more than 50% of their content. I am unsure if we have given her a hard deadline for the remaining content. Before I can complete my portion, I would just need our client make some finalized decisions regarding design layout and color scheme.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our team has been interacting with our client via e-mail and in-person meetings as necessary. She seems a little overwhelmed at this point, so we are trying to communicate regularly, but not bombard her with messages and requests.

Client Communication :
The communication that our team has had with the client has been good and proven successful. We communicate via email, Skype, in person, and also on the telephone as necessary. The frequency of communication with the client as a team has been good and we are making very solid progress with everything!

Project Accomplishments -
We have over 50% of the content and within a couple weeks we will have the majority of the content. Jennifer has created good deadlines for all parts of the website that still need content or need to get more. I personally don't need anymore information from the client to complete my portion of the Web Proposal. Everything is going smoothly and we will be ready for the proposal!

Client/Team Interactions:
The group is interacting with the client very well. We all seem to be getting along well. Each member has had contact in different ways and established what is necessary in order to progress with the project. I don't see any problems arising at this stage of the class. After the Web Proposal I feel like our team will be very on top of things and have everything established and in the process of being completed.

Brian Phipps from the RECOURSE Mediation group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The communication our team has had with the client has been on the phone and through e-mail about once or twice a week.

interaction with client is going great now that we have passwords need to complete the site.

Client Communication :
Our communication with the client is mostly in email. We have had a couple of face to face meetings with them outside of the scheduled first meeting. And this was just to add more clarity to the project and help our work flow.

Project Accomplishments -
As of right now we have received at least 50% of the content from the client if not more. I am not 100 percent sure if we have hard deadlines set for receiving the rest of the content, but I believe that Alex has discussed it with the client.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our group seems to be working well with the client thus far. The only thing I see that could be a potential issue is that our client is pretty adamant about what they want. But they have begun to warm up to our ideas.

Problems or Concerns:

Bill Batten from the Equi Ed group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I've been in one face-to-face meeting and that's all the contact I've had with the client at this point. The designer and PM have been taking point up to now. I'm assuming that I'll get a chance to interact with the client over the slide-show I've worked on and any forms which are necessary to the site.

Project Accomplishments -
Messages on the group Wiggio page indicate that we have 50% of the content. I need information on what forms are needed. I already knew they wanted a user controllable slide show and gallery, so I've already made an example of that for them that I think they'll like.

Client/Team Interactions:
The PM and the Designer seem to be communicating with the client a lot. I see no problems.

Problems or Concerns:

Nesho Dimov from the Extended Child Care group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Face to Face and email. We met in person once and the PM was present.

Project Accomplishments -
We have 80% and more is coming very soon. We will shoot most of the material that is removed before the end of February. As soon as the rough cut and the storyboard are done we will schedule a new meeting with the client. This will be probably done in phases. First we will shoot the board meeting at ECC, later some remote scenes, like Fire Department and playgrounds.

Client/Team Interactions:
Everyone is active and the project is moving forward. I don't foresee any problems.

Jennifer Beckham from the USGBC REC group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have had 2 meetings, one with the whole team and Lorraine, and one just me, Lorraine and Tina where they described their design concept and I executed it. Lorraine sent me maybe 30 emails last week. I replied to 5 or so that seemed most important.

Project Accomplishments -
It's hard to say. They don't know what the content will be completely. We have zero pictures and no database information. I think I have the site map squared away, they have said this is the final version, but want me to keep options open. Their plan is to make the main pages and put maybe one to two paragraphs on each page, adding more content after the project is done.

Client/Team Interactions:
The PM and myself have had the majority of the contact with the client. The only foreseeable problem is us not being able to deliver everything they want. See confidential remarks.

Problems or Concerns:

Brian Tietz from the Extended Child Care Coalition group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have had face to face and email contact with Missy Danneberg the Executive Director.

Project Accomplishments -
I am told that the team overall has about 80% of the material. For my part (programmer), I have about 90%

Client/Team Interactions:
We did have one issue with receiving FTP information needed to upload and test the site. The client and their hosting do not wish to give us the information we need. They rather would like us to hand over the completely site and they will be responsible for FTP to the hosting environment. I do see the possibility of problems once the site is uploaded by the client and the potential complexity with debugging problems without direct FTP access, to me having FTP access would solve these issues.

Problems or Concerns:

Alexandre Marcondes from the Russian River Keepers group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We had a face to face a couple weeks ago. Now the communication has been by email. The client is in communication with the designer a little more but we are kept on the loop every week.

Project Accomplishments -
I have about 50% of the content we are in talks to get the rest of the content but the client is confident that she will be able to give us all the content before the dead line for content.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group has been hands on with the client especially the Designer and I don't see any problems at this stage.

Problems or Concerns:

Sasheena Arbogast from the Petaluma Educational Foundation group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had 2 face to face meetings and we stay in touch through email almost every other day.

Project Accomplishments -
We have 50% of the content and our client knows the deadline for giving us the rest of the content. At this point we can start the proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
Everyone has been cordial and is working together great. We cc every email we send to Janet so everyone knows what's going on. No problems at this stage.

Kirsten Kristensen from the Computer Science Dept. - Linda Hemenway group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I met with my client at her office and received the materials needed to edit the student testimonial video. Since that meeting we have emailed a couple of times. I submitted the first look at the progress of the video this past Friday and she replied with some needed changes and pointed out elements that were right on track.

Project Accomplishments -
I have about 60% of the content that I need. I will be contacting the subject in the video to seek out additional b-roll of her in action or of the clients she has worked with. I will also be gathering still images through screen shots or photos I will take to enhance the content the audio is referring to.

Client/Team Interactions:
My client interaction is working fine. It will be interesting to see how the interviewee in the video will respond when I contact her for additional material.

Problems or Concerns:

Karrie Painter from the Extended Child Care Coalition group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have been in communication with Missy Danneberg the Executive Director by phone, face to face meetings and by email. She has been great with making time to meet with us and for getting us information in a timely manner. I speak with Missy 2-3 times a week as necessary to gather information and to see how she is doing with the requests of our team.

Project Accomplishments -
We have at least 80% of the content, we should be receiving the rest of the content this week. They are finalizing some of the new pages that will be added to the site and updating the parent handbook. I still need a few bits of information to complete my part of the web proposal but I am working on it with the information I already have.

Client/Team Interactions:
The interactions between the client and our team is going really well. I have spoken with Missy several times regarding her interaction with the team and she has been pleased with everyone's correspondence thus far. We did have only one issue regarding access to an FTP site; however, our team was able to talk it through. At this time I do not see any problems arising.

Client Communication :
we had two meeting face to face ,and we are using emails the most.

Project Accomplishments -
We have more than 50% percent of the content, but we need some explanation about some content. Also,we need some information from the client to complete part of the web proposal, and on 3/12 is the deadlines of the 100% percent of the content.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group interacting with the client is very good, and I do not see any problems.

Erin Walsh from the Sonoma County Family YMCA group group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
So far we have had great communication: We have had our first meeting face to face, a few emails, the design sampler meeting face to face, I picked up first half of content. Emails in regards to the pick up. We will also have another face to face meeting for the program samplers.

Project Accomplishments -
We currently have the first 50% of the content for the site and will receive the second half by 03/14/12 or sooner. I will need the client to approve the idea of using multiple color schemes in their design to fully know which direction the design will head. They sent an email to the corporate branch to make sure we can use all their brand colors or if we are suppose to stick with just one. I will be designing two variations of comps for the client's homepage and second level: one with all brand colors and the second with just one.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think there has been good contact with the client from our team. I don't see any problems so far so good!!

Lisa Glover from the CCE-SSU group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The initial meeting F2F with entire team. F2F meetings with the DES, who reports developments to the rest of the team via email, phone, and distributed materials. The client reaches out via email regarding notifications pertinent to team interaction with SSU. When contacted will reply with progress updates regarding content. Contact occurs at least 3x per week. Often more frequently.

Project Accomplishments -
Deadlines are being implemented regarding outstanding content based on team agreements. The client has provided us with 50% or more of content, in a somewhat haphazard fashion. The team has developed a plan to allow a more systematic delivery of content. Hopefully, the revised schedule will offer deadline incentives to the client, and provide for content to be delivered in a more usable and complete form to the team. Also, the team has resolved to approach incomplete content in a way that allows the project to proceed in spite of not having it all. The web proposal will need some of the outstanding content yet to be provided by the client in order to be finalized. However, the client is highly motivated to cooperate, and has offered no resistance to working to meet the project goals.

Client/Team Interactions:
That time is our common enemy is clear. However, it must be noted that in spite of a difference in communication styles between the SRJC team and the client, willingness to clarify with a tolerance and patience has been forthcoming from all parties. Gaining access to the SSU server has been bureaucratically challenging, but my intuition tells me the bureaucracy is actually moving at hyperspeed to accommodate our little project. The people we’ve met handling the process have been professional, friendly, and clear. So, it is what it is, and we are proceeding as best we can without definitive style and structure information using a best guess policy. We are not panicking at this point. Maybe later…

Client Communication :
I've communicated with the client face to face and have read emails from them.

We're interacting just fine, I see no problems arising.

Problems or Concerns:

Donald Ensley from the REFB group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Several e-mails, back and forth have been sent and received about once or twice a week. I left a number of messages about once or twice a week with the client. The client appears to prefer e-mail, as they infrequently return calls.

Project Accomplishments -
I have about 98 percent of the content, with four HTML pages still needing to be "filled in". I have all the information I need to complete the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group is interacting well with the client. I do not see any problems at this stage.

Problems or Concerns:

Donald Ensley from the Redwood Empire Food Bank group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have had several e-mails and a meeting with the client. I have left phone messages as well. I usually contact the client once or twice a week, depending upon if there are questions, or if I want to confirm content agreement with the client.

Project Accomplishments -
I have 98 % of the content, with about 4 pages of HTML content, and about 31 PDF files still missing (these have been requested from the client). There is a deadline for this information set for next week, 3-4-2011. I have enough information from the client for the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group has generally excellent interactions with the client. The client is slow to respond to the group, however. So we are having to be patient with the client in getting us the last bits of the new content that we need to complete the final detail of the content. I do not foresee any major problems.

Problems or Concerns:

Christopher Caplan from the Roller Derby group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We've had 1 face to face meeting and regular email updates back and forth.

Problems or Concerns:

Dian Ross from the Roller Derby group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I've had a few e-mails and 1 phone call with the Client. The phone call took place last week to talk about the logo change and color change. Also discussed the content that was being gathered by the client.

Project Accomplishments -
We received 80% of the content on Sunday, so far it's good. It has diffrent pages, picutes and the a team flyer.

Client/Team Interactions:
None so far. The client is excited to see the mock ups which should be sent out this week.

Problems or Concerns:

Caroline Quintanilla from the Birth Psychology group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
There has been quite a bit of communication with the client, both with the designer, and with the programmer/content developers parts of the team. There have been multiple emails back and forth, as well as a couple of phone calls and one face-to-face meeting. All these communications have happened just in the past week, since our initial client meeting.

Project Accomplishments -
We have all the content. I don't believe I need anything from the client in order to complete my part of the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
I don't see any problems at this point. Both the client and the team remain enthusiastic about the project and our interactions.

Problems or Concerns:

Damian Baker from the Face to Face group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have not had to have much contact with the client. They initially gave us the majority of the content and a very good idea about what they wanted in a website. With this information, I have not had to contact them much outside of our first client meeting. I do email them weekly updates to let them know how development is going.

Project Accomplishments -
We have probably 95% of the content, but will not know for sure until the shell site is up. I do not think that we require information from the client to complete the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
Everyone is interacting great. The client is easy to work with and I think we are communicating well. I do not see any problems arising.

Problems or Concerns:

Cecilia Hernandez from the La Voz group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Emails work best with Ani. So at this time we have mainly been communicated via email. But we are working on getting her to start using skype.

Project Accomplishments -
Over the weekend we recieved the majority of the content. As of Monday Micah and Emelina were working on a few more pages.

Client/Team Interactions:
Ani seems to be changing her mind as to were she wants the design to go. She really wants something similar to what she had, but it doesn't work. She is trying to put alot of information on pages and its hard to follow. At this time Bill(DES) is talking with Ani and also Linda to work out something that will make everyone happy.

Problems or Concerns:

David Rivezzo from the St. Vincent's Elementary group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
So far the majority of the communication has been done via email. We have also had one face to face meeting with the client a few phone calls. Communication had been great and friendly and our team is really happy to be working with them.

Project Accomplishments -
Our team has approximately about 90% of the content from the client and should be receiving whatever remainder of the content to be included on the website soon.

Client/Team Interactions:
I feel that the group and the client are interacting very well with each other. At this point I do not foresee any problems arising.

Problems or Concerns:

Megan Bennett-Burks from the GreenAcre Homes group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I haven't had direct communication with the client this week. However we have received more content from the client.

Project Accomplishments -
We have at least half of the content now, so that's coming along pretty well. We'll likely need more information for the contract part of the web proposal, I suspect anyhow, but other than that nothing is immediately coming to mind.

Client/Team Interactions:
I don't see any problems arising specifically due to the client. He's been good about getting the content to us, and getting pictures and other materials.

Problems or Concerns:

Jason Sanders from the Birth Psychology group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
As a content developer, we had one face to face meeting this week. We also have had dozens of emails. There was refinement of what the content is going to be. We reshaped some of the flowchart. We discussed some of the presentation content. We also worked on some of the major work left to do on grouping Birth Psych's database of articles, journals, newsletters, etc.

Project Accomplishments -
We have all of the content. We have all of the content from her database. We have 50% of the presentation content reworked and loaded onto the teams website. We have everything we need to make the Web Proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
I feel like we are ahead of the curve. We have to be though, because there is a lot of work left to do. The group is interacting very well with the client, and I am sure that the client would reflect the same positive rating.

Problems or Concerns:

Client/Team Interactions:
The group is interacting with the client very well, everyone is polite and understanding.

We had our face-to-face meeting with her, but I never heard anything back from her at all. Apparently, from what I've heard, it's the same for the rest.

Project Accomplishments -
During our face-to-face meeting, our client asked to find stock photos that we could use for our site. I've been doing so, but when I sent her the stock photos, I haven't heard anything back.

Client/Team Interactions:
Sadly, our client hasn't responded to my e-mails, and it's apparently the same for the rest of the group as far as I know. I'm guessing she's really busy and that she didn't have time to respond to our e-mails. Whatever the case might be, I think we might have to find another way to talk with her.

Problems or Concerns:

Brandon Giovannoni from the 4Paws group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Last Wedsday we had a meeting with Joanne of 4Paws via Skype.

Project Accomplishments -
We do not have 50% of the content but we are receiving some here and there through emails. We don't have deadlines set in stone but we made it aware that we were suppose to see if we had 50% of the content.

Client/Team Interactions:
We are interacting thought emails and Skype and we are pretty much smooth sailing, great team and clients to work with.

Problems or Concerns:

Talisha Melluish from the Napa Valley Breastfeeding Coalition group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I personally have had limited communication with the client, my communication has come through my PM usually by email. We have communication from the client about twice per week, more if necessary.

Project Accomplishments -
We have about 75% of the content and yes there are deadlines on the content we still need. I believe we are tying up the ends of information we may need from the client to complete some the Web Proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
We interact quite well with the client and vice versa, I think the only issue that may arise is the client not being sure of exactly what they want but we are working with them to hash out what they are looking for.

Problems or Concerns:

Project Accomplishments -
We have at least 50% of the content, and we have the deadlines set in place. There are few thing we haven't gotten yet though.

Client/Team Interactions:
No problems communicating, but I think that we should never go right up to a client and totally rearrange their website because we think it looks better our way. We should have let her come to that conclusion herself by showing her excellent websites that portray the design, organization, and general web ideas to her. we are, after all, only students.

Problems or Concerns:

Sue McGee from the Green Acre Homes group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have communicated with the client via email. He has been very good about it. My IMD team member has contacted him via email to schedule a photo shoot appt and has met with him F2F for that appt. My CD team member has established a rapport with the IT tech via email.

Project Accomplishments -
We have all of our text content. Our client wanted to use updated photo's and video for which we had planned to have already, however the nasty weather has affected (delayed) the photo shoot. I'm not too worried about this yet as I know our IMD has taken some still photos. I also know that our client has been helpful up to this point and will not let us down.

Client/Team Interactions:
No problems.

Problems or Concerns:

Zechariah Manning from the Greenacre Homes group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Our PM and IMD have had the majority of the contact with the client ever since our initial client meeting. The extent of my personal contact with the client since then has been a couple emails to the IT person in order to request a server transfer/upgrade for the Joomla CMS.

Project Accomplishments -
I would say that at this point, we probably have about 80-85% of the content for the site. Deadlines were in place, but due to the rain and the fact that much of our content is contingent upon photos and videos being recently shot, it has been hard to nail down a definitive date for that content to be delivered. Our IMD has been working diligently to create that content and will send it over to me as soon as it's ready.

Client/Team Interactions:
We seem to be interacting well. During our initial meeting with the client, we were enthusiastically given carte blanche to have complete creative freedom and control over the design. Our client said that we are the "experts" and he was sure that anything we came up with with would be great. He gave a us a couple guidelines regarding color scheme and sent our DES to do what she is best at. We recently found out from Linda that this was not the ideal situation and we have been forced to take a totally different approach to the design kind of late in the ballgame. This has proven to be a bit of a disappointment and a hurdle for us all, but we are sticking together and we are confident that this will be a minor speedbump.

Problems or Concerns:

Emelina Minero from the La Voz group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We communicate with her in-person, via email, and phone a few times a week. We usually send group emails out, and then Cecilia emails our questions to Ani.

Project Accomplishments -
I'd say we have at least 50 percent of the content. We have a lot of the content, minus pdfs, and a little bit of written content. We have the class deadlines for the information. There are a few content questions we have for the client. I think some of the content is redundant or not presented well, but our client likes it the way it is. From your meeting with Bill, it sounds like we might revamp the content, which I think would be good, even though it makes me wonder what I'm coding will stay. There are 10 main pages: 1) Staff, 2) Contact, 3) Advertise, 4) Subscribe, 5) Home, 6) Distribution, 7) Read La Voz, 8) Classifieds, 9) Rosie's Gallery, and 10) Legacy Issues. We have 5 of the 10 pages, the contact, subscribe, home, distribution, and read la voz pages done and on the shell site. There are more than a total of 10 pages. Rosie's Gallery page connects to 4 other pages with photos of Rosie. Read La Voz page connects to 15 other pages where the viewer clicks on pdfs of the newspapers to read la voz online, but we don't have any of the pdfs. We were told to take off all of the photos from the website, so we have all of the photos. We haven't taken them all of from the website yet, but we have taken them for the pages that we have on the shell site. We don't have any of the pdfs that we need. We can start the staff page, but we're still missing some of the content, 3 bios that are going to be written. We can start the advertise page, and the classifieds page.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think we're all interacting well with our client. I think the only problem has been that Ani has been set in her ways, which we have all thought are not the best for the site, but we've been saying the mantra, "Do whatever the client wants".

Problems or Concerns:

Olga Komar from the Napa Valley Breastfeeding Coalition group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
we had our first meeting a week ago. Since then we continue to communicate through e-mails.

Client/Team Interactions:
Through e-mails. No problems.

Problems or Concerns:

Deborah Large from the Healthy Kids group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We initially contacted the client in a face to face meeting. There has been no communication with the client since that date that I'm aware of.

Project Accomplishments -
I'm unaware of what content has been received by our CD. As designer, I'm prepared to present comps to the client and will go from there.

Client/Team Interactions:
I'm unaware of how my group is interacting with the client since our initial face to face meeting. I hope to see the client this week. I have not had any communication with the client since our initial meeting.

Problems or Concerns:

Shannon McMath from the Habitat for Humanity group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have had both email and face to face contact with the client. I have met with them a total of three times now - initial meeting, one meeting with the IMD and one meeting with the Programmer.

Project Accomplishments -
Currently, all I think I need are images for the home page and possibly sponsor/donor logos. Since these already exist on their current website, I don't think there will be a problem getting them.

Client/Team Interactions:
I don't see any problems arising so far : )

Problems or Concerns:

Jane Daniel from the Petaluma Recycling Center group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have recieved copies of two or three emails this week from Arthur at PRC to Kevin, our PM. Kevin has been trying to get more content. I think we have most of it now. We have lots of pictures and links. We have material lists and price lists. We have referrals to the parent organization website and PRC's facebook page.

Project Accomplishments -
We definitely have over 50% and probably 80% but we would need permission to copy information from the parent organization. We received information on the unrecyclable items and the unaccepted items today. Plus we received the PRC guide. The content today came in a MIME document which I am unable to open, but hope Kevin can. Without seeing today's content, I'm not sure what else we need.

Client/Team Interactions:
Arthur chose two of my logo samples that he liked. He is running the content by some one in the parent organizaion and she suggested a new font style. I resubmitted the two logo samples with the new font. I also needed to change Recycle to Recycling on the chosen logos which changed the presentation. So, I made a few samples with the new word length. I submitted a total of 5 logos for selection and I have not heard back. So I selected my favorite for the comps and moved on. No problems, my comps should be ready by our comp review meeting.

Client Communication :
We met with the client in person on 2/2. We have communicated with Arthur (our client contact) at least weekly by email. Arthur is included on all project status emails sent between the team members.

Project Accomplishments -
We have over 50% of content at this point. This includes images that will be used on various pages, links and policy information about recyclable items accepted and the current price list for recyclable items.

Client/Team Interactions:
Primary contact has been by myself with Jane contacting Arthur as needed. Again all team members are copied when Arthur is contacted.

Problems or Concerns:

Kevin Schirado from the petaluma recycling group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We met with the client in person on 2/2. We have communicated with Arthur (our client contact) at least weekly by email. Arthur is included on all project status emails sent between the team members.

Project Accomplishments -
We have over 50% of content at this point. This includes images that will be used on various pages, links and policy information about recyclable items accepted and the current price list for recyclable items.

Yoshinori Abe from the Face to Face group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I finally came up with the best art web gallery, and I kept contacting Damian(PM), and he was very helpful. We e-mailed each other, but the problems were getting worse. Finally, I just called up him and the problem was solved.

Project Accomplishments -
I think Jenny is working on story board, and Richard is working on content now. I just made a simple chart for my web gallery.

Client/Team Interactions:
I can not find any porbkens

Problems or Concerns:

Michael Wheeler from the CS Department group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Email, face to face and/or Skype - Weekly

Project Accomplishments -
100% Client deadline for content has been met. Currently I need no information. Client will approve as project progresses. I currently need no information to complete. Should questions arise, the client has made it clear that answers or resources will be provided.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group is multi-tasking with this and other clients well. No problems at this point.

Problems or Concerns:

Barbara Evans from the 4Paws group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We had a face to face meeting, phone calls, a skype meeting and a number of emails. There were several emails over the last week regarding the site map and home page comps.

Project Accomplishments -
I would estimate we have 25% of the content. Additional content is in raw form (like a grant or article) that needs to be re-written for the web. We are missing some pictures. They also have an existing web site where we can pull content. Our client understands our class deadlines and has indicated her strong commitment toward delivering our content. I think it will be late though.

Client/Team Interactions:
We are interacting well with our client. They are very excited and pleased with our progress and the home page. I believe they are sincerely trying to get their content together.

Problems or Concerns:

Dia Jenkins from the Napa Valley Breastfeeding Coalition group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We communicate with the client 2-3 times per week. We have met once face to face for the initial meeting.

Project Accomplishments -
We have about 75% of the content, perhaps more. We are working on receiving photos from the client and tweaking the content to meet their needs.

Client/Team Interactions:
We are interacting well with the client. I foresee no problems at this point.

Problems or Concerns:

Cynthia Maram from the Habitat For Humanity RESTORE group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I've met with the client a total of 2-3 times face to face, spoken on the phone once to make an appointment, and emailed at least twice per week.

Project Accomplishments -
I have about 20% of the content. They are working on uploading photos in sets to Flickr. The photographer for Habitat for Humanity should have uploaded the 2011 photos within the next 2 weeks. I have all that I need for the web proposal except for the username of their video YouTube account for the multimedia gallery.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group is interacting with the client well. I think the main challenge will be training the client to upload photos and create a gallery. We decided that I would only create a gallery for the 2011 photos and I would train them how to do the rest since their are hundreds and hundreds of photos that they want on the site.

Problems or Concerns:

James Anderson from the Sonoma County Roller Derby group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
After the initial face to face meeting I have exchanged a few emails with the client and have received some responses to those emails. Not a lot to update the client on...the Designer is involved in a lot of the contact right now.

Project Accomplishments -
I believe we have received at least 90%-100% of the content as of Feb. 20. We will have a more definitive total after the designer and interactive media developer meet with the client to review the mock ups. Because of a major change in the organization we may need to adjust some of the material for the web proposal but won't know that for sure until the above mentioned meeting.

Client/Team Interactions:
I believe the group is interacting well with the client and I don't see any problems at this time.

Problems or Concerns:

Debra Gardber from the La Voz group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have had only the one face to face and one email communication with the client.

Project Accomplishments -
No, I have not received content.

Client/Team Interactions:
I would like to see the emails that my teammates have with the client. I think it would make me feel a little more involved in the process and more of an idea what the client is looking for. The client has changed her mind and we are now working together to meet her expectation.

Problems or Concerns:

Sarah Fogarty from the Habitat for Humanity group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I personally have not had any communication this week with the client. The work load this week shifted to our Programmer, Designer and IMD. They all had face-to-face meetings with the client (and key members of her staff) as well as the occasional email exchange. My understanding is that these meetings went very well and moved several important issues along. As my team members are in complete command of what they need to do their jobs, it was not necessary for me to serve as any sort of monitor or middle person; however, I am cc'ed by team members and client on all matters of importance.

Project Accomplishments -
We do have deadlines in place. The client is to get back to us on Tuesday with her approval of final nav bar items. Once this is done, the CDs can move forward very quickly in transposing the old site to the shell site. I would guess that upwards of 75% of the content that currently exists on the original site will be transferred virtually intact. Questions have already been posted to the client concernng areas where content will be new or rearranged. As the client is very punctual with her replies, and my CDs are incredibly diligent, I predict we will have over 50% of the content up on the shell site by this coming Thursday.

Client/Team Interactions:
My team members have established their own relationships with the client and it has worked out very well so far. I do not forsee any problems arising at this point. We are communicating well with the client and each other. As we move into the area of fine-tuning the content, there will be more time demands put on the client, who likely will pass some of that on to members of her staff who are specifically involved with those areas, so the lines of communication might get a little murky, but ultimately, all decisions will go through the client and I believe my CDs are very capable of working well with the client and all members of her staff.

Problems or Concerns:

Jacqueline Richmond from the NAMI Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We held our initial meeting face-to-face on 2/3. We have been communicating via e-mail several times a week since then. I also stopped by their office to pick up additional content and drop off their memory stick.

Project Accomplishments -
We have more than 50% of the content, but I am not sure yet how much more. We communicated the deadline of 3/14 for all content to be received when we reviewed the client calendar at our initial meeting. We still need to receive the forms they want included on the site. The client is in the process of redesigning them and expects to have them available very soon. We also still need to flush out requirements for the library/Filemaker Pro database interface. Our team has agreed to request a meeting with the client over the next 7-10 days to followup on the storyboard, review comps and follow-up on any outstanding items. I am in the process of scheduling it.

Client/Team Interactions:
Things seem fine. No problems at this time.

Problems or Concerns:

Susan Brennan from the Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Up until this point the other team members IMD, DESIGNER and PR have been working with Kathy getting their site template decided and connected. Kiki and I have been working from the flow chart behind the scenes setting up pages on the shell site. We have sent her an email describing our process, what we need from her team and the address to the Shell Site so that she can watch progress and check for changes.

Project Accomplishments -
We know where we are getting about 80% of the content. Kathy and her team are to review shell site, flow chart and go over their site for changes and get back to us. They are to sign off on the flow chart (our navbar) by Tuesday.

Client/Team Interactions:
I see the group interacting VERY well with the client. Lots of email between team members. Kiki and I work closely together and lots over the phone, Now we will be working more closely with the client as well. I see no problems thus far.

Problems or Concerns:

Mary Neal-Norton from the Habitat for Humanity Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We had the entire team meet face-to-face with the client in which we covered our original questions. Then Shannon met with the client last week and asks a few questions for us. We have since emailed the client with a joint message from both CDs outlining which pages each CD will be working on and providing a suggested guideline for setting up communication with the individuals assigned at H4H to the corresponding pages. We also requested the client review the current pages already placed on the shell site for need of any changes, and requested answers about some existing missing content.

Project Accomplishments -
We believe we have at least 80-90% of the text content we need already available on the current site. Since it is so large a site, the deadlines will be on a page by page basis as we go along, which we are working out now. We feel that we will be able to work easily with the client to obtain the remainder as we complete each group of pages.

Client/Team Interactions:
All members of the team seem to have great communication with the client and the rest of the team. The client is eager, knowledgeable, helpful, and dependable. I do not see any major problems arising at all at this point.

Problems or Concerns:

Imelda Guzman from the Redwood Empire Food Bank group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The team has communicated through email with each other and the client within these last 2 weeks with updates and requests for info from the client.

Project Accomplishments -
We just received the final content yesterday for what the client would like to keep and discard or reconfigure. All the design materials have been delivered.

Client/Team Interactions:
The communication between the client and team has been positive and amicable.

Problems or Concerns:

Dennis Bolt from the NAMI group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
As a group we have met once face to face. Our PM does the majority of the communicating with the client via email and has met to pick up content at least once more. I am the Designer, and have been working on mockups and storyboard. I have not had much more contact with the client, but will be ramping up the contact as we show the client the mockups and refine the storyboard in the next week.

Project Accomplishments -
We probably have at least 50% of the content. I will be getting feedback from the client on the design in the next week or so.

Client/Team Interactions:
Everything seems good.

Problems or Concerns:

Miranda Limonczenko from the Birth Psychology group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Just yesterday I had a meeting with our client, which was extremely informative about our tasks the upcoming weeks. She's been very good about staying in touch through email just about everyday. She's very eager to get this site running, so she's putting a lot of energy in to make this happen.

Project Accomplishments -
The client has been putting everything right up front. We have access to her server (which she just recently changed) as well as all of the content situated on her website. She has more content that she wants to get onto the web in the future -- such as old conferences on tape -- but we won't take that from her, simply set up the site so she can put it in herself when the time comes.

Client/Team Interactions:
No problems to speak of. Everything is going well. Promise.

Problems or Concerns:

Noah Freitas from the Birth Psychology group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have sent and received numerous emails with the client (one at least every 3 days), have spoken with her on the phone at lease one time, and have had two face-to-face meetings.

Project Accomplishments -
We have 100% of the content from the client, now it is just a matter of getting it into a form that can be used on the new site. I have all the information from the client that I require for my part of the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group interacts very well with our client, and the client has been very responsive and helpful with us. At this point I do not see any communication problems arising.

Problems or Concerns:

William Batten from the La Voz group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We've had one big face to face as well as numerous email and phone contact. I've talked to the client on the phone and shared email with her. We put quite a few hours in, showed her comps which she said she liked and then, after about a week, she informed me that she preferred the "look" of her existing page and would like us to stick close to that. So, hours of work designing possible looks for the page were basically irrelevant. We're rushing to get some new comps ready that more closely follow her existing look

Project Accomplishments -
Evidently, we have most of the content. As I said above, the main challenge is that she changed her mind on what she wanted after we were well under way.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group is great. I see no problems at all working with the group, although we're all frustrated with the fact that the client has gone back and forth on us.

Problems or Concerns:

Elizabeth DeVries from the St. Vincent's group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I met her at the initial client meeting, again when I went to pick up the content, and I've talked on the phone with her once.

Project Accomplishments -
I have almost all of the content, and yes, we have deadlines in place for the rest. No, I don't really need any information from the client in order to complete the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
I don't see any problems arising at this point.

Problems or Concerns:

Richard Bassett from the Face To Face group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have only had a need to contact the client a couple of times. They are always very helpful and have a quick response.

Project Accomplishments -
I have 90% of the content for Face To Face and should get some files up-loaded to the shell site soon. If there is any additional content the client will let me know. We have not started on the web proposal but it will be soon.

Client/Team Interactions:
I believe the other team members are interacting well with the client. I don't see any problems arising at this stage of the class.

Problems or Concerns:

Tina Mourad from the The Childrens Village of Sonoma County group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Sorry for the late report. I thought I did it,but hadn't. We have had one face to face meeting with the client. Several emails as well between client and team. Frequency is about once a week for status updates. I have not had direct contact with client as of yet but will soon as soon as I finish my adjustments to my final comps and provide them with this.

Project Accomplishments -
I think I have most content as designer i.e. 90%

Client/Team Interactions:
Group is interacting fine with the client. I don't see any problems at this stage.

Problems or Concerns:

Anastasia Hockinson from the Lite Initiative group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had one face to face meeting with our client. We spoke for many hours and they showed us all around the bike shop.

Project Accomplishments -
I now have 50% of the content. Kim, our project manager has emailed them several times this week and they did come through with many pages of text this morning. Kim has also told them we have specific deadlines. Hopefully I will receive all the information from the client in order to complete my part of the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think our group all feels the same about the client. We are being very patient with them, however, they do not seem very organized. I am not sure if there will be any problems, however, it did take them a while to send us any content.

Problems or Concerns:

Janis Oberman from the The Children's Village of Sonoma group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have had both email and phone contact with the client. However, they have been better about answering phone than returning email. I've spoken with them maybe every two weeks.

Project Accomplishments -
I have a bit less than 25% of the content. However, since I am IMD, it is an important part, which takes quite a bit of testing. Also, I am now working with the PM to ensure that I receive the video content on time. I now have enough information to complete my portion of the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group seems to be acting fairly well with the client. However, I've noticed a tendency for this client to push early deadlines.

Problems or Concerns:

Derek Fiedler from the Wildlife Exclusion Services group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have had one face-to-face meeting a few weeks ago. I have contacted her via email and phone about once a week.

Project Accomplishments -
We have about 80% of the content. Aside for some images, the content has been submitted in full.

Client/Team Interactions:
Jim (Des) is excelling with communication. Jonathan (CD) has had some computer issues and needs to catch up. I believ we are back on track after a shaky start.

Problems or Concerns:

Derek Bowker from the Sonoma County Reptile Rescue group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have only had to meet with the client once face to face, and the rest of the time I have sent email. We usually talk at least once a week or more.

Project Accomplishments -
We have a little over 50 percent. Most of the images for the website are in. We have their logo, but all we are missing is some of the written content, such as bios and information on native species of snakes that are in the area.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group is interacting pretty well. They have told me that they have been talking to her through emails as well or meeting her if needed. I don't see any problems arising.

Problems or Concerns:

Jonathan Harmon from the Wildlife group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Email, phone, and face to face

Project Accomplishments -
Still working that out at the moment but I do have deadlines in place.

Client/Team Interactions:
The client is very amiable and we're working well with them. I don't see any problems arising.

Problems or Concerns:

Heriberto Villanueva from the APPPAH group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had two conversations with our client via skype and emails.

Project Accomplishments -
Most of the content is available. We are waiting on content for a few pages.

Client/Team Interactions:
We have a good relationship with our client.

Problems or Concerns:

Matthew Poirier from the The Children's Village group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have met once in person, was very productive. Currently we use email to communicate, it has been working well. We are communicating often, a couple times a week.

Project Accomplishments -
Currently we have about 90% content in and working on signing off on the pages in the shell site. The client is working on getting the very last of the information to me.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group seems to be doing fine, updates are coming in weekly regarding everyone's tasks and plans. No problems so far, none that I can see for the future.

Problems or Concerns:

Holly Folendorf from the SRJC Music Department group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have met with the original client (Joe Perea of the music department) only once. However, we have also met with Susan Matthews and Corrine Haverinen because they are also working on this project and because it is a JC site and there are many regulations to follow.

Project Accomplishments -
We are unsure what content we have to this point. Some of what is on the existing site, such as teacher contact information, are going to remain the same, just presented in a different way. Otherwise, content is being submitted to Susan Matthews for editing and sent back to the music department for approval, and then forwarded on to us.

Client/Team Interactions:
It is kind of tough right now, because we have two clients; the music department and the SRJC. We are in the process of trying to sort this out and find specific elements that we are supposed to work on. We just had a meeting last Thursday, and we are going from there.

Problems or Concerns:

Jaena Bloomquist from the AIA group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The entire team has met in-person with Wendy from AIA twice, --in one of those meetings we spoke on the phone with national AIA web designers, who wanted to talk about what we needed for our regional site-- and Jarel and I have met with her separately once. We have kept in touch via email at least a couple times per week. We have another whole-team in-person meeting tomorrow (2/23) scheduled, and then another one for two weeks out.

Project Accomplishments -
I do not have all of the content yet, but Wendy is in the process of getting it and she will probably give much of it to me tomorrow at the next whole-group meeting. Also, I will ask her for any content that she herself has as soon as possible, even if she is waiting on content from others.

Client/Team Interactions:
Wendy is great, and very enthusiastic about the project. She is representing a very large group (AIA National) who has specific standards, so that makes it more involved than it might have been. Other than that I don't see any problems with the client.

Problems or Concerns:

James (Jim) Anderson from the Wildlife Exclusion Services group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The team has met with Kristin at least once face to face and via email and telephone.Personally I have met with her twice to discuss design issues and called and emailed her with questions within the past two weeks.

Project Accomplishments -
I believe we have at least 80% of the content from the client. We are still waiting on some more photos and a chart. But the client is aware of our deadlines and last I spoke with her, she was ready to send them. I am meeting with the client this Wednesday with my mock ups. I'm hoping that she will make a decision by the end of the week. Her choice will allow me to finalize the storyboard. The Creative Brief is pretty much done on paper but also depends on her decision in order for me to finalize it.

Client/Team Interactions:
I believe the team is interacting with the client. I still think the team needs to start stepping up the communication. Especially at this stage of the game. This has been a problem from day one. It's like a roller coaster. A lot of ups and downs. But it's been better than it was.

Problems or Concerns:

Kimberly Collins from the LITE Initiatives group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had a couple of face to face meetings but most communications has been through email. Frequency varies depending on what is going on. Currently we have exchanged 5 or 6 emails in the last 4 days

Project Accomplishments -
Currently we do not have any content. Client plans on sending some content tomorrow. We will have to determine what percentage of content we have at that time.

Client/Team Interactions:
We are seeing some difficulty in getting the client to recognize the benefit of the designers' layout over the layout the client wants. Client seems disorganized and scattered. Content has been difficult to acquire and reminder emails have to be sent often. Hoping things will smooth out after the design is settled.

Problems or Concerns:

Maggie Gallotti from the APPPAH group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We've exchanged emails and spoken to each other via Skype, most recently last Sunday.

Project Accomplishments -
I believe we have most of the content. Our client mentioned yesterday that she was interested in sending some images for one of the pages(membership login). I haven't received those yet. I hope she sends them this within the next few days. The client wanted to see some changes in the mock-up. I made some slight navigation changes. She also wanted the membership form fields to appear on the home page instead of just the link to that page. Also, I am awaiting the client's opinion on a change of color. Originally I had used grays, and a teal-like color with a maroon because those colors were mentioned early on. She let me know that she liked the images but thought the colors were too masculine for the subject matter. She would like to see a color similar to the one on the existing site(peachy-pink), and included one of the logos from the original site. I made another mock up yesterday and sent her and the team an email.

Client/Team Interactions:
We seem to be interacting with Maureen well. As long as the design and content are finalized soon, I think we'll be ok. I also hope that she will decide on a solution for her site management software soon.

Problems or Concerns:

Monte George from the sonoma humane society group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Skype and email(sometimes chat). Continue to communicate with team three times a week via email, and Friday's via Skype. Will have two skype sessions with customer, just because we are behind on the storyboard and content info. Want to have this wrapped up by tomorrow so we can start on Web proposal.

Project Accomplishments -
We have 100% content from customer, but some of it is repeat/redundant info, and we need to trim some of it down(about 5% is my guess). Customer has a very large site, with some confusing links, which makes it difficult to organize. Tuesday's meeting should resolve all of our concerns and will solidify the Storyboard.

Client/Team Interactions:
Group is interacting well, and everyone is doing there part. Client is great and is so willing to help us make this a great site.

Problems or Concerns:

Matthew Lane from the The RainTree Initiative group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
As before, we've been having emails going back and forth between the team every day. Emails from the client are almost exclusively to the project manager, who then gets the information to us.

Project Accomplishments -
It's somewhat hard to say, but I would venture to say that we have at least 27 to 32% at the moment, and we're supposed to get a large amount today. We've been soliciting the client for more and more, but he's been quite busy with his organization. As far as my part of the web proposal depending on the content -- it does and it doesn't. It would be easier to make production standards knowing everything that will be handled, but I could also do it without all of the content.

Client/Team Interactions:
As I said above, our group is interacting with our client almost exclusively through our project manager. We have sent emails to him on an individual basis, but he finds it seems that it's much easier to manage communications with just one person.

Problems or Concerns:

Barbara Evans from the Sonoma County Museum group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We had a face to face meeting and we have exchanged a number of emails. I have seen the client twice more for 2 photo shoots.

Project Accomplishments -
We have well over 50% of our content in. We gave the client a Mar. 1 deadline for 100% of the content. I have everything I need from the client to complete my portions of the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our group is interacting well with the client. They have been very receptive and helpful. I don't see any problems at this stage.

Problems or Concerns:

Roger Johnson from the APPPAH group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I had a face-to-face meeting with Maureen Wolfe, Executive Director of APPPAH. Subsequently the team met with Maureen via Skpe on two occasions, most recently yesterday, 2/21/10. Additionally, there have been numerous emails exchanged between Maureen and the team. Most of the emails have been requesting that we consider adding additional content or programming to the redesign.

Project Accomplishments -
The bulk of the content is on the existing website as we are redesigning their public-facing pages. This is probably 90% of the content required. There were three webpages identified that are new: Rules for Submitting a Manuscript (content is on website), Volunteering Donations (new content needed)

Client/Team Interactions:
Maureen is extremely appreciative of the work we are doing. She has been helpful and supportive in all respects. She realizes the constraints on our resources. She has been very responsive to our requests for information. Feedback has been timely and direct. I am delighted (a word she often uses) with our relationship. She and the designer, Maggie Gallotti, seem to have a good interaction so far. I think we are very positive and in good relationship with our client.

Client Communication :
I have had many emails and face to face meeting with the client and team mates, this is helping to keep our project going smooth

Project Accomplishments -
I feel we have 100% of the content for the GPA website but may have some changes done to it over the next few weeks as we the team are urging the client to get more content. I am nervouse about our srjc music content as we are still waitig on it, but confident this will produce a new great website.

Client/Team Interactions:
no problems and very pleased with teams, I am still waiting to hear from joe the guy heading srjc music with us about some info i need. i have emailed him and will do so agian if i dont hear back today.

Problems or Concerns:

Nancy Tracy from the AIA Redwood Empire group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had 2 face-to-face meetings with our client at her office and have another one scheduled for tomorrow.

Project Accomplishments -
We have most of the content as a lot of the content well be copied from the previous web site. The client has been cooperative in getting the content we need.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group interacts well with the client. The DES and CM have had an extra meeting with the client regarding content and design. We are still investigating hosting and possible database links to the national aia database.

Problems or Concerns:

Damian Baker from the LITE Initiatives group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We met with our client last Monday for the first time as a team. Since the meeting I have received one email from the client which attempted to answer some questions that I had asked regarding the design of the site.

Project Accomplishments -
I am not sure how much of the content we have received, but the last time I was updated by my PM, we had not received any. I know that 2/22 was the deadline we had set to have 50% of the content for the site. And since I am still designing the site, I have not began working on the web proposal. In fact, I am not even sure what I am responsible for.

Client/Team Interactions:
We are communicating with the client, but it does not seem very effective. So far, the client has not followed through with supply content or answers to design questions that I have asked. The conversations are scattered and hard to keep on track and because of this, it has been had to nail down details on the site design. Honestly, it has been a very frustrating experience, but hopefully it will get better once the design is approved and the content is gathered.

Client Communication :
we had 2 in-person meetings with the client. The first one was, of course, prior to Kathy and Austin joining us. we've also had email communication. I, for one, have not had any phone conversations with the client. I intend on emailing the client shortly after sending this off to discuss the database.

Project Accomplishments -
I think that we have all of it.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think we're interacting well. no, I don't see any problems.

Problems or Concerns:

Kathy Samoun from the The RainTree Initiative group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
As a team we have had one initial meeting with the client. I had an additional meeting where I received images and a revised storyboard from the client. I have another meeting scheduled on Monday the 22nd for additional images and content. We emailed frequently with the client and he responds in a timely manner.

Project Accomplishments -
As of yet we have not received any content from the client. I am scheduled to meet with the client tomorrow to get additional images and content. I think the biggest obstacle is getting the content and storyboard worked out. Once we have this information we'll be able to complete the web proposal. I have all the information I need for my portion.

Client/Team Interactions:
The team is interacting well with the client. I do not see any problems at this time, although I'm a little concerned about content. I am hopeful he will provided this to me tomorrow.

Client Communication :
I've been to one face to face meeting. We've had emails from the client and I've sent him the mock-ups for the site. I'm still waiting to hear back.

Project Accomplishments -
I believe we have 100% of the content and have all the information we need to complete the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
Everyone is interacting well with the client and I don't see any problems arising at all.

Client Communication :
We have had several face-to-face meetings and a number of emails. We are planning to meet with him a third time this week.

Project Accomplishments -
We have 100% of the content. I don't require more information to complete my part of the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
The team is interacting well with the client and he is responding quickly to any questions.

Problems or Concerns:

Deanna Stropes from the Redwood Empire Active 2030 Club group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The client stated a preference for e-mail communication, and we've maintained regular weekly contact, often with multiple exchanges per week. So far it's been successful, and we've gotten what we need.

Project Accomplishments -
My best guess is that we have at least 85-90% of the content. We haven't set any other deadlines than the ones in the original client calendar. At this point we have plenty of content to work with, in order to stay on schedule.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our interactions with the client have been cordial and productive. Although the fact that she is a graphic designer working in the web development industry has been a little challenging (she wants a lot of control over the design), we seem to find ways to work through things without getting stuck.

Problems or Concerns:

Anna Narbutovskih from the The RainTree Initiative group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We've had one introductory meeting with the entire team present to discuss the scope of the website and present the design sampler. The PM also met briefly with the client the receive an updated storyboard and a CD with images. We've sent emails to the client requesting clarifications on the storyboard and requesting content. The client is pretty good about responding and clear about his concerns and requirements.

Project Accomplishments -
As of today, Sunday 2/21, we have zero content but the client promises to send at least half by the deadline tomorrow. To complete the web proposal I need the client to approve the storyboard I pared down to 28 pages from about 100 and I need to know if we'll get actual content for all of those pages. It's also not clear at this time how many images will be placed on the final site. We expect to set up another meeting with the client to discuss images. I have enough information to complete the design brief.

Client/Team Interactions:
The team is interacting well with the client.

Client Communication :
We have had both introductory and design meetings face to face with our client. Additionally, the DES, CD met with the client for a phone conference with Webvanta's Michael. We are investigating this product for our client.

Project Accomplishments -
We have almost all the content defined. We are working on defining the complete layout to define the content required.

Client/Team Interactions:
We have had a great relationship with the client. Either as email, face-to-face and small group meetings. We have worked with outside consultants from national AIA and now Webvanta.

Carlos Downie from the Grandparents Parenting . . . Again group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
Team members have had successful communication with the client mainly through email. The client is usually emailed each week, if the client has any questions, I respond to emails quickly.

Project Accomplishments -
We have most of the content needed for the site, with more than 50% available already. My team will be needing some more content from the client in order to fill some pages that may need more content, however we have all the content from the previous site. During our first meeting with the client the CD received most if not all of the content needed. There is a deadline set for receiving all the content from the client, it is set for 3/1. I will be contacting the client to receive the information I need for the proposal, so far I have the needed information.

Client/Team Interactions:
My teammates have been great with their interactions with the client. My team members have been emailing and meeting with the client to get what they need. although the client is busy, she tries to make time for meetings and responds to emails regularly.

Problems or Concerns:

Jarel Culley from the AIA Redwood Empire group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The contact I have had with the client has been very good. She said she remembers my email the easiest so I am the one who gets most of the emails. We have had very productive face to face meetings as well.

Project Accomplishments -
Our client is in the process of getting all the necessary forms together. There are a lot of documents and pdfs that need to be emailed as well. We should be getting most of that by next week. We have made out a list of everything that the client needs to give us.

Client/Team Interactions:
Jaena and I are working well with the client, and had our own meeting with her to discuss webpage for webpage what will be on the site and what documents we need. I don't know what has happened to our PM lately as we have not received any replies to our emails lately. I for see our PM falling behind in communication since it has already happened. The client has even mentioned that he is not listening/communicating to everyone very well. I feel like Jaena and I are taking co-lead in communication and development of the site.

Client Communication :
I feel like we had a good communication set up with our client, although since we have now learnt that our client is bigger than the music department but more so the SRJC PR department is was a little unorganised. It seems now though we are more clear in our role and are working with all those needed to develop a website that meets all of our needs.

Project Accomplishments -
At the moment I have no content. I have emailed Joe a couple of times, and now talked with PR. They have told me I will be getting the content by the deadline of the 22nd, and if not, will work hard with Joe on getting it to me. I have received the Music department photos yesterday at our meeting with PR, and can expect to be able to get more from the PR systems

Client/Team Interactions:
At the moment I am a lot more clear as to my role and what is required from me. I hope the communication stays open to all those concerned so we can all stay focused on the job at hand and not get to involved in red tape that is around us.

Phone, face-to-face, skype Frequency, it would be a lot better if the client could respond a little faster. I understand she is busy, but sometime there is a lot of ambiguity that needs to be cleared up before a certain amount of time....

Project Accomplishments -
I have about 40-5% of the content and I will get more before Monday and will put it all together tonight and before money. Yes I am aware of the deadline for 50% of the content. Today is the 19th and it will be due on the 22nd. I may need a little more info but I am still working on it.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group is trying to get everything together and we are constantly asking the client for what we need when we need. Right now I do not see any problems and I feel things are going okay right now.

Client Communication :
Communication amongst the team has been great. We seem to be communicating on a regular basis, at least every other 3rd day or so. We have set up meetings to meet face to face to discuss progress on the project.

Project Accomplishments -
We currently have more than 50% of the content if not all. (Client provided all content she currently has or wants for the moment at the first Client/Team meeting) The CD for the team will begin sending pages to the client for verification next week. The CD for the team will make contact with the client and set a deadline for 3/1 for any new content client wants to provide.

Client/Team Interactions:
Interactions with client have been positive.

On Friday, Feb 19th, the team met with Angie using Skype. We discussed our latest mockups for the homepage and the 2nd level pages, as well as the layout for the timeline information.

Project Accomplishments -
We have all of the content except for some pdf files from Angie. We will be asking for them on Tuesday at our next Skype meeting.

Client/Team Interactions:
We are all interacting well with our client. She is very happy about the new look of the site and is willing to work with us to provide further input into the final design of the main navigation line. That will be the topic of our meeting on Tuesday.

Peter Wilson from the Sonoma Humane Society group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have mainly had Skype communication with our client and these have been at our weekly meetings. I have not had a lot of reason to talk to her personally.

Project Accomplishments -
I believe that we have 100% of the content available at this time.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group seems to be interacting great with the client as far as I know. There have not been any problems and she is very easy to work with.

Problems or Concerns:

Jay Vorzimer from the Redwood Empire 2030 Club group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The communication that I have personally had with the client has consisted of 1 face-to-face meeting, 1 telephone call in which we discussed the design of the site and possible changes, and emails that occur in regular intervals to keep each other abreast of the projects state.

Project Accomplishments -
We have received approximately 80% of the sites content The client originally supplied the content in one word file despite the request of a single word file for each page within the site. This has since been addressed and the client is working on supplying word files for each of the pages within the site. Deadlines have been supplied to the client. I am unsure if there is further information needed by me for my part of the proposal since the bulk of my time has been spent designing and redesigning the website. I need to review the requirements for the proposal to ensure that I have the neccessaey materials.

Client/Team Interactions:
Outstanding! The communication seems to flow quite smoothly between the client and the remaining group members and I don't see any problems arising at this stage of the project.

Problems or Concerns:

Noah Freitas from the The Children's Village group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
I have been in contact by e-mail with the client at least weekly. As PM, I send them a weekly status update. I have also occasionally sent topical e-mails asking for information.

Project Accomplishments -
From my calculations based on the report sent out by our CD, we have over 80% of the content in. The client is well aware of the 3/15 deadline for 100% content. For my part of the web proposal I sent the client a few more questions late yesterday. I expect a response either today or tomorrow.

Client/Team Interactions:
The group seems to be interacting well with the client. I know our IMD had a little trouble with phone tag, but that is hopefully resolved at this point. As of this point I don't see any problems.

Problems or Concerns:

Debb Womack from the Santa Rosa Tool Library group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had one face to face and will have another this week. We are mostly communicating by e-mail on an average of about 3-4 days per week. During the next week or two e-mailing may increase to once a day then taper off to two to three times per week.

Project Accomplishments -
we have access to a great deal of content however the system currently be used makes it nearly impossible to access the pages source code. We will meet again this week to do mini tutoring on Dreamweaver and briefly go over any outstanding access issues We definitely need more info but hope to get all of it this week

Client/Team Interactions:
The client is performing a service for the community that both members of our team greatly appreciate. Because we are all committed to the cause and want to create a well designed, user friendly site I believe we are all getting along quite well.

Project Accomplishments -
I have 0 content now, but should be able to get all the content from his existing web site in another day or so. We also plan to discuss my mockup at that time.

Travis Carroll from the Sonoma County Reptile Rescue group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
All the communication from the client so far is mostly through e-mail, these e-mails are usually passed to and from each other 2-3 times a week. We've also had a few phone calls as well.

Project Accomplishments -
I have a few mockups that the client has looked at, and said they would let me know more about what they think later, as of yet I have not received input on what the client wants to change. The client hasn't been very picky with the actual design (she's more picky about the content) so I'm kinda just shooting ideas and designs at her and seeing what she thinks. I need her input on the mockups I gave her, so I can have a complete comp with minor changes as opposed to not really having any idea on what she wants right now.

Client/Team Interactions:
The only problem is the clients "I'm not too picky" and now I'm waiting for her input.

Problems or Concerns:

Face-to-face meeting. Our designer and Content Developer (Christy) communicates directly with the client regarding the story board and design. She is in communication with the client regularly.

Project Accomplishments -
I'm responsible for the multimedia. I'm developing slide shows, video and audio as well as Flash presentations. I'm waiting on Christy to give me the pages that media will be required on. Next formal meeting is 3/12 at 9:30am with the client to review and sign-off proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
All is well and our team is in good communication with each other and with the client. Our team communicates mostly by email and phone but we use Skype and Acrobat.com for group meetings.

Project Accomplishments -
I believe that we have about 50% of the content. Yes, I do have enough content to complete my portion (design) of the proposal.

Most interaction has been via email. No, I do not see problems at this stage.

Grant Brott from the Womens Global Leadership Initiative group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had one face to face meeting, and have been in contact with the client since then via email

Project Accomplishments -
We received our 50% content mark on the 24th. And are now receiving more of it. We have deadlines set and it appears the client is waiting till the last minute for them which is a hassle.

Client/Team Interactions:
Interaction with the client is ok would like to see a slow trickle of information instead of everything at the last minute for our deadline dates.

Problems or Concerns:

Jonathan Piehl from the Partners For Sustainable Pollination group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had two face to face meetings with the client. One of our members went to one of the organizations informational meetings. Lately we've been emailing mostly. I try to make sure the client gets an email from us at least once a week to make sure she's aware of what she needs to be doing and where we're at in the process.

Project Accomplishments -
I would say we have about 75% of the content from the client. I have set a date of Mar 13th for 100% of the final content so we have a week of wiggle room if the content doesn't come in. I believe we have all the information we need for the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
Interaction with the client has gotten better over time. Both us and the client were unsure of how to go about this whole process, but we've gotten a better footing now. We are being more strait forward with the client and the client is working hard to get us what we need.

Problems or Concerns:

Mark Foote from the American Philharmonic group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We've had three face-to-face meetings with the client, the latest one this evening (23Feb). Looks like Stephen's design is approved, the client is advised of section 508 requirements, no splash page will be needed, but we have one additional page to add to our list ("email verification").

Project Accomplishments -
We have received a CD with content, my understanding is that most of the content is on the CD but we haven't verified that (I just got my copy tonight). Krisha was advised tonight of 17March as a deadline for 100% content. I think with the input of the team and our discussion tonight, I should be able to correct and complete the production standards and the deliverables by next week for the "Web Proposal Meetings" class.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think we all get along well, Krisha is very pleasant to work with and good with details, so I think she understands what we need to complete the project and approximately what we will deliver. I don't see any problems at this point in time. She has been advised that although we will copy the code that they are using for videos and for the "cutenews" archival software to the new website, we won't be able to test the interaction until the pages are loaded on the AP site.

Problems or Concerns:

Anna-Maria (Anni) Wernicke from the UASA group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have met twice with the client in face to face meetings. There has also been some emails, 1-2 times a week.

Project Accomplishments -
I am not sure about the content. I have asked the client some questions about the flowchart and am awaiting a response.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think the communication is OK, but it could be better. They mean well, but are inexperienced in design issues. Knowing that, I would have approached the first meeting differently. I would have sent them more info before the meeting, as a "tutorial," or questions to think about. I would have asked for more specific color suggestions up front and suggested having only one person involved in design decisions.

Cathea Scheer from the Partners for Sustainable Pollination group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The only contact I have had has been in the 2 f2f meetings with our group, while other members have had email contact.

Project Accomplishments -
We have a small questionable percentage of total content. Some of content are articles that need author's permission and other content are links that 'borrow' content from other sites. Our PM has been great about following up with client on meeting the deadlines.

Client/Team Interactions:
From my experience at the 2 meetings, the group interacts well f2f, especially now that they have found some footing and gotten over any 'shyness' about what to say to client, myself included.

All contact lately has been via email. we have had face to face and email contact. 2 to 3 face to face meetings and a number of emails - estimate 7 to 10.

Project Accomplishments -
We just got content today - may be 100% not sure yet. However, it is plagiarized content - just given to us for filler. We were informed today that the web site will not be live until the end of summer when the Board will have time to review/create content for a live site.

Client/Team Interactions:
The mood is friendly. The client simply has no time to provide content at their busiest time of year. They will have a site that is usable in the future.

We have %70 of the content but struggling with the organization of the content a little. We should have all the content by the end of the week as we need to clarify with the client what content we should have. We may need a little more from the client but we are moving towards a web proposal nicely.

Client Communication :
We had a conference call today to review progress and how the system is working. We mainly communicate via email, with the agreement to discuss items on the telphone as required. We email several times each week. I send status to confirm receipt of content and information.

Project Accomplishments -
70% of content has been received to date. We are working on the final content and discussed the 3-20 deadline again today. I think that we have most of the information required to complete the web proposal based on our conference call today.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our designer has emailed the client with content questions, the group reponds well to each other. We see this week as being very busy, as we prepare to create the web proposal, but think we have enough to get a proposal on the table. I told my team that I need 3 days to compile the information and put the Web Proposal together in time for 3-2.

Project Accomplishments -
We have nearly all of our content, excluding images. Of those images, we have received 20 from the client, and are in the process of scheduling a photo shoot. I will meet with the client today to receive the information needed to complete the Web Proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our group is interacting well with the client. Frequency of communication varies week to week, but we have most of the information we need. My sense is our client is anxious to have their site, and that they're juggling the site with other priorities. I don't foresee any problems arising.

Project Accomplishments -
We have close to 100% of the content (other than pictures). I know we still need a few small things, and my partner has a meeting with her today and will ask her about those. I think I can finish the web proposal with what I have at this point. It may change very slightly, later on, but it will be very close to the final product.

we have one face to face and the rest has been happening by emails

Project Accomplishments -
we do have some content but not sure which percentage that could be, we are assuming that the client is sending what they thing is important at this point.

Client/Team Interactions:
ours PM is in direct communication frequently updating the goals

Problems or Concerns:

Jessica Bobier from the Saturday Afternoon Club group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had two face to face meetings with our client. Both meetings were very productive. We have another meeting with our client coming up on sunday 2/22.

Project Accomplishments -
We have well over half of our content. We expect to receive the last bit of content at out meeting in a couple days. Our client is planning to get us some more pictures also, but I'm not worried about it if they don't have them ready on sunday, as they have already given us a disk with tons of pictures to choose from. They just didn't have any pictures of people, which is what we requested from them.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our group interaction has been great. Everyone's communicating and we haven't really com up against any problems.

Problems or Concerns:

Nichelle Rourke from the Sonoma County Folk Society group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had one meeting with client. Our second face to face is on Friday Feb 27. I have spoken on the phone twice, to set up meetings and ask for a responses to emails. I have sent about a half dozen emails and received about half back, but hopefully this is improving.

Project Accomplishments -
I think we have at least 50% of the content. We are creating the Creative Brief which should outline exactly what we need and can then determine what is missing. With that list I will set some deadlines. I don't need anything for my part of the Web Proposal, the others haven't mentioned needing more info.

Client/Team Interactions:
We have had a meeting and a few emails. The contact is minimal but suffient for now. I think if we are direct on what we need from the client then they can respond fully. So far so good.

Problems or Concerns:

Dusty Dwyer from the United Against Sexual Assault (UASA) of Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We have had intermittent communications by email. We had a good meeting with the client on 2/18. Hope we have opened the way to better communications.

Project Accomplishments -
Expecting to have the full content by Friday? Hope to have the story board then. Waiting for more clarity of content by Friday, 2/20. more details...coming soon...

Client/Team Interactions:
On our part, I feel our communication skills as a team are very good. But the client is not sure what they really want, or how they want it. I am a little concerned about this. It seems that they should have a clearer vision and decisiveness about the project by now. I am definitely going to be praying for things to come together for them and us.

Problems or Concerns:

Stephen Rodier from the American Philharmonic group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The team has had numerous emails with the client and has met with her twice. I have also exchanged email with the client and met with her twice outside the group. I have also met most of the board members and the conductor.

Project Accomplishments -
We have well over 50% of the content. Out of 19 pages we have copy for 16. I have all the photos on the existing site but still need originals for the ones I want to enlarge like the header and footer photos. I have asked for the flash .fla files so I can update ones they might want to keep. We haven't reached a final decision on whether to have a splash page yet. The client has the deadline calendar and is paying close attention to keeping ahead of it.

Client/Team Interactions:
Interaction with the client is very good, she is very responsive to email and all our requests. I don't see any problems arising at this time

Problems or Concerns:

Jerry Adamson from the American Philharmonic-Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
The team has met face-to-face with the client twice and she has offered to join us at various times whenever it is necessary. I have also corresponded with the client on many occasions via e-mail. I attended the American Philharmonic concert on 2/15 and, as a guest of the client, met most of the board members as well as the conductor to get a feel of the organization.

Project Accomplishments -
I picked up a CD containing the download of the current web site and passed it around to other team members. It's hard to estimate the exact percentage of content we have since the content isn't changing that much. The orchestra and board members are always subject to change but we have probably over 90 percent of the content we need. We still need images from the photographer and the client has put in a request to obtain them.

Client/Team Interactions:
We have a very good client and she is willing to contribute in any way to the success of the project. The board members are also enthusiastic about what we are doing. I don't see any problems arising from the client.

Problems or Concerns:

Anna Narbutovskih from the Sonoma County Folk Society group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We've had one face to face meeting and another one will take place very soon with the PM and the DES. The client has shared emails and images. The PM and DES have good communications with the client.

Project Accomplishments -
At the current date we have possibly 20-40% of the content which consists of the content of the existing website. It's unclear at this time how much of that content the client wants to keep. We know that there will be more images for the slide shows and we don't have those yet. We've set clear deadlines for the content. I think we can complete the web proposal without all of the content.

Client/Team Interactions:
We are all interacting well. I don't see any problems and anticipate a successful outcome.

Problems or Concerns:

Gary Cross from the Saturday Afternoon Club group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We had a second meeting with our clients near downtown, on the 8th of February. It was a productive meeting and lots of accomplishments were made. The client is very excited about having a web site for the group. When we arrived; she had the furnance running and was nice and toasty in the room.Even had made coffee and decaf for us. Gave our team a tour of the building and so much history was provided.

Project Accomplishments -
I would have to say we have just over 50% of the content. So much has been provided for our team. Feel that there is enough information, to complete my part of the web proposal.

Client/Team Interactions:
My Content Developer and Designer is having a meeting with our client on the 22nd of February. Just to get a few more images to add to the finished site. Then they will contact me via email; to let me know what was discussed and how the meeting went with the client. Think things are running smooth up to this point. I'm very excited to see the final project completed.

Problems or Concerns:

Barbara Vallauri from the Saturday Afternoon Club group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
We've had two face-to-face meetings so far, with another scheduled for February 22nd. These have been very productive, as our client is cooperative and eager to get us whatever we think we need.

Project Accomplishments -
I think we have about 80% of our content, and expect nearly all of the outstanding items at our next meeting. A few things such as photos may trickle in later, but most of it is already in our hands.

Client/Team Interactions:
I don't see any problems. The client doesn't need a very complicated site, and we communicate very well.

Problems or Concerns:

Gloria Batemon from the Americian Philharmonic group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Content report

Client Communication :
After our PM had sent several e-mails back and forth to the client, we all met on January 28th, at the SRJC to introduce each other to the client. We will be meeting again in two weeks.

Project Accomplishments -
Our client had already answered all the questions that had been sent over to her. The answers were passed around and discussions on how involved the client wished to be. I'm glad she wants to be heavily involved with the process and even asked for a copy of our due dates, so she could get things to us ahead of schedule. Most of the content on the site will be used again. There are some picture changes along with some content that will be changed.

Client/Team Interactions:
We all interacted nicely with the client. The client really sounds enthusiastic about our group and the knowledge each of us hold. I am very happy to be in this team and looking forward to what we can produce. I see no problems at this stage.
