Client Meetings:
I met with the client last night at their tenth anniversary Gala after the concert and on 5/2
Meeting Accomplishments -
Last night we discussed changes and training.
Before that Mark and I met with Krisha at my house on 5/2, we uploaded the new site to the philharmonic server. After that we downloaded a copy of Dreamweaver to Krisha's laptop and installed it. Then I transferred the site to her laptop.
Client/Team Interactions:
We had a great time and there was a great sense of accomplishment having the site go live when they wanted it without any glitches. She was happy to leave with dreamweaver installed and working
Problems or Concerns:
No I hope all my clients will be as pleasant and helpful as Krisha is.
Amy McVicar from the Sonoma County Folk Society group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
Entire team will meet with client on Wednesday evening to turnover and train.
Since I was going to take Friday off for a Friday or Saturday meeting with client and it was changed to Wednesday last week, I will try to make it.
The meeting was moved from Wednesday morning to evening so that Anna could make it and I could try to make it.
Meeting Accomplishments -
Hopefully:
Installing the website.
Training and turnover.
Receipt of reference letters.
Client/Team Interactions:
Probably well.
Our team has email communication problems but I think we can pull it together for a meeting.
I also think we communicate better in person.
Problems or Concerns:
Nope.
Jonathan Piehl from the PFSP group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
We have not met with the client since mid semester. We have emailed the client letting her know about the completion of the site and asked for feedback.
Meeting Accomplishments -
We haven't had the final meeting yet.
Client/Team Interactions:
I'll let you know when we interact with the client.
Problems or Concerns:
The only concern I have is if the client will actually populate the site with new content and upload it to the web.
Stefan Fanslow from the Women's Global Leadership Initiative group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
there hasn't been a formal meeting with the client since the web proposal signing (or what was suppposed to be a signing anyway).
Meeting Accomplishments -

Client/Team Interactions:
very well..
Problems or Concerns:
as the final, it's a bit late for that.
Jennifer James from the WGLI group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
We have been conversing via email primarily at the moment. The first couple of meetings took place at the beginning of the class.
Meeting Accomplishments -
We have not had a meeting with the client recently.
Client/Team Interactions:
The client and the team have been interacting good throughout this course. It was a challenge working with a client who has little computer knowledge, but we managed to work through her wishlist.
Problems or Concerns:
The client has been wonderful through this process. I have no problems or concerns.
Albert Shanto from the Legal Aid of Sonoma County group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Our final client meeting was a training session that lasted for about 2.5 hours. Randy Jaillet (DES, CD) was there, I was there, as well as Alicia Watson, our primary client, and 3 FANHS board members.
Meeting Accomplishments -
Randy spent an hour showing the client how to edit specific sections of the website. I showed them how to edit the online calendar and add / edit users to the FANHS email account and Google Apps.
Client/Team Interactions:
The client and team has always had great interaction.
Problems or Concerns:
Alicia Watson (The Client) took the time to tell us that they were very pleased with the website, and the performance of the SRJC team.
Jerilynn Johnson from the Legal Aid of Sonoma County group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
I have met with the client in person two times. We are in the process of scheduling one last meeting to do the training - hopefully it will take place later this week. Beyond the face to face meetings there have been numerous emails between us and the client.
Meeting Accomplishments -
During the past meetings we've managed a lot, so hopefully we will at our last meeting as well. I hope to train our client on how to make simple updates to the site.
Client/Team Interactions:
Interaction has been good, although our client has gone away for small periods of time without telling us beforehead, so we didn't know when to expect her back.
Problems or Concerns:
None at this time

Client Meetings:
my contact only involved 2 meeting with entire group. have had no additional contact of any kind.
Meeting Accomplishments -
unfortunately, we got very little of our objectives accomplished at the meetings. we tried to pose questions to the client, but she would go off on her own tangent. needless to say, not very productive. we did learn she was unprepared, not good at listening, and perhaps not too receptive to trying to understand what we needed from her.
Client/Team Interactions:
we were polite, listened, no harsh words or emotions, but we didn't connect.
Problems or Concerns:
well, it would have been nice if she had been prepared and available to participate 100%.
Nichelle Rourke from the Sonoma County Folk Society group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
We had 4 face to face meetings with the client. Each meeting was very important for answering questions and knowing exactly what the client expected. I spoke with the president only once on the phone to establish contact, but since have used email exclusively.
Meeting Accomplishments -
Since in the beginning emails did not flow as rapidly from the client as we had hoped, the meetings were the necessary ways to clear up concerns and get some different opinions from their group. The mood was always very inspiring and comfortable.
Client/Team Interactions:
Since the clients were very relaxed and interested in the project, they were very open to our direction and suggestions. They generally let us lead the meetings and communication flowed well. They have kindly invited us to some of their events.
Problems or Concerns:
My main concerns were in the beginning with defining content and receiving it. At this point, the client must be trained to update the website properly. I am confident that they will understand and make a good effort. However, they will probably run into problems later when more questions or problems arise.
Randy Jaillet from the FANHS group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
I've contacted the client through email every day for various matters.
At the meeting, Larry (PM) and I were present. From FANHS, Alicia was present, the president of FANHS was present, as well as a few other members of FANHS.
Meeting Accomplishments -
Mostly training. The PM talked for the first hour or so, mostly about how to update their Google calendar and manage their account. Then I talked for a little over an hour and showed them how to make updates to the site, how to use FTP software, etc.
Client/Team Interactions:
Everything went smoothly and pleasantly. The FANHS people have been a pleasure to work with.

Anna Narbutovskih from the Sonoma County Folk Society group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
The team met with the client several times during the semester discussing the content and logistics og developing the site and the complexities of maintaining the site on their own. Additionally there was considerable email contact between the client and the PM and DES in which ideas and content flowed quite freely.
Meeting Accomplishments -
The meetings nailed down the final form and format of the site, determining what pages would be on the site and what content and images would be placed on each page. At eash meeting new ideas were floated and acted upon.
Client/Team Interactions:
Our client/ team interaction was superb. The client was very enthusiastic about the site from the beginning and very generous with content, images and media.
Problems or Concerns:
No, none.

Client Meetings:
we havent met recently but all our meetings went smooth and eveyone from the team showed to evey meeting
Meeting Accomplishments -
the last meting was web proposal and it wentgreat, got it signed off and moved forward which had been hard to do previuos to meeting
Client/Team Interactions:
well, but i think the client was a little hard to deal with but very real life. plus i relize how much the general public is uneducated to web design, especially design.
Problems or Concerns:
no, i feel good with the client. the onlt thing is that i dont get responses as i would like from them as we draw close to the end i dont have time to wait for thier resposes.
Grant Brott from the Womens Global Leadership Initiative group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
The project manager did the last meeting.
Meeting Accomplishments -
Met with the new client rep and reviewed their concerns and ours
Client/Team Interactions:
I did not attend the meeting but have interacted through email with the new client rep and it has gone very well, wish she was assigned from the beginning so we would of worked with one person the entire time.
Problems or Concerns:
The swapping of people working with us through the project was a hassle, we worked with a total of 4 different people over the course of the project and I think the lead to most of the issues we had with time lines and gaining materials.
Dusty Dwyer from the United Against Sexual Assault (UASA) of Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
We have not met with the recently. Are last meeting was when we met for the web proposal. We are planning to meet with the client for training soon.
Meeting Accomplishments -
The web proposal meeting went very well. Additional information on the upcoming training meeting-Coming soon.
Client/Team Interactions:
We all get along like "old friends"!
Problems or Concerns:
They really want a Mercedes, but they will just have to settle for a Honda!

Client Meetings:
The last time I met with the client was about a month ago. We met at Starbucks and we all went over the website pages and signed them. Krisha, Stephen, Mark, Jerry and I were present for the bid signing. There was another meeting held last week by Stephan, Mark and Krisha to go live. They met at Stephan's house and from what I have heard, all went smooth.
Meeting Accomplishments -
At the Starbucks meeting, new content was handed over, the pages where actually given to Krisha a few days prior so she could go over them. We asked questions and got answers from her and visa versa. We all signed the web pages to approve of them. All went well.
Client/Team Interactions:
We e-mailed each other or met in person. Krisha was a very helpful client who went out of her way to make things easier for everyone. I couldn't have asked for a better client.
Problems or Concerns:
None whatsoever.
Bradley Mark from the Partners for Sustainable Pollination group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
We met twice with the client, once in the beginning and a month or two later when we were looking for content. The whole team was present.
The very last meeting with the client hasn't taken place yet that I know of. There will be some training to provide later though.
Meeting Accomplishments -
At first we laid out the plan and due dates. Second meeting we tried to establish the content, and were not too successful.
Client/Team Interactions:
The client is a very nice person, just too busy during this time of year. Also this is a fledgling group that is still trying to stand on its legs so there is more to do that worry about a web site.
Problems or Concerns:
The client knows some web design so should be able to continue to develop the content for the site.
Mark Foote from the American Philharmonic group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
We met on May 2nd, Krisha and Stephen and I. That was my last contact with the client on the project.
Meeting Accomplishments -
Site went live, thanks to Stephen. Stephen and I helped Krisha download the correct version of Dreamweaver to her laptop, and Stephen made sure she had the files and was set up to upload revisions to the site.
Client/Team Interactions:
We had fun, everything went smoothly, thanks to Stephen's preparations.
Problems or Concerns:
no.
Doane Atwood from the Women's Global Leadership Initiative group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
The most recent meeting was me (the PM), the client, and the person she designated to take over the client side of the project because she was leaving the country. We have also exchanged several emails, both before and after the final meeting.
Meeting Accomplishments -
I reviewed the site as it stood at that point with the client. She was concerned about some things that were not then present (due to integration issues with the testing site and some things that had to be implemented on the production server), and some things that needed additional revisions before the site can go live. I discussed the status of the project and the remaining schedule with the client and her new representative.
Client/Team Interactions:
Overall well: I actually wish that the new client representative had been part of the project much earlier on, as she seems to be very level headed, and would probably have been very helpful in separating out wish list / future development items from things that needed to be done to get the site launched.
Problems or Concerns:
Just that the person we have been working with is now out of the country, and that the organization is still in very early stages of growth -- in some ways this might have been a better client to work with next year, after the programs were more fully developed. Either that or some of the material that they included should have been left out and a simpler site, with just the basics should have been launched at this point.
Jessica Bobier from the Saturday Afternoon Club group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
We haven't had any recent meetings with our client. I sent the testing questions and everything through e-mail. I took over primarily communicating with our client after our PM left, so I have also spoke to our client over the phone 4 or 5 times since then.
Meeting Accomplishments -
We got our test results back from the client via e-mail. they have some changes they would like to make.
Client/Team Interactions:
great, communication has been very good
Problems or Concerns:
no
Rebecca F from the Sonoma County Folk Society group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
We met with our client for our initial f2f to discuss the needs, wants and expectations of the client. We met again for the client to choose a design and again to cover content. All of the rest of the communication was done via email which was effective albeit a bit frustrating at times to keep the content coming in. There was minimal phone contact with the exception of one call with their newsletter designer who had some simple questions for me regarding how to do some things in InDesign and creating PDFs from his InDesign work.
Meeting Accomplishments -
The f2f meetings are extremely valuable to really get a true understanding of the clients wishes as well as a feel for their own personalities and styles.
Client/Team Interactions:
To my knowledge the client and team interacted very well. I personally enjoyed all the guys from SoCoFoSo they are an interesting bunch of folk musicians.
Problems or Concerns:
My only concern is that they can easily update their site to keep the information current. Their old site required little to no upkeep but their new site has several areas that they will need to edit. These were all requested specifically by the client so I will have faith that they will be inspired by the new site to keep it up.
Susan Bergna from the PFSP group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
We met twice with the client face to face. Both were pretty useless since she was totally unprepared both times and was unable to make any decisions. The rest of my contact with her has been via e-mail and phone to get answers to specific questions.
Meeting Accomplishments -
Nothing was accomplished during our meetings.
Client/Team Interactions:
We interacted just fine although I think we were all frustrated by her lack of organization and inability to make decisions. (And by the fact that she totally didn't listen when we talked to her)
Problems or Concerns:
Yes, we are wondering how the client is going to generate enough content for the site we developed for her to go online. She wanted 25 pages but we have virtually no content for any of those pages so they will be adding almost all content by themselves and I think will also have to change the navigation.
Barbara Vallauri from the Saturday Afternoon Club group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report
Client Meetings:
My final contact with the client was via email. The client has reviewed the site and has suggestions for further minor refinements. I've personally met with the client three times in person, with additional contact by email to obtain supplemental content and input.
Meeting Accomplishments -
We've agreed as a team to make the refinements the client has requested, although many of them will be accomplished after the end of the semester as they include some changes to content and another page to be added that was not discussed during the course of the project.
Client/Team Interactions:
I think we've interacted very well, given that the client is relatively new to the internet and we had to spend time explaining some things that to us are basic concepts (URLs, screen resolution, etc.). My impression is that they're happy with what they've seen us accomplish.
Problems or Concerns:
My only concern is their above-mentioned lack of sophistication with respect to the web. It's possible that our team will have more contact with the client in the future when they want to make changes, and that's OK with us.
