Client Final Meeting - Business Web Design / Web Content

Let's take a look at how things are going.

Daniel Baggett from the 4Paws group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Just me and the client. there was some communication error on my part but mostly it was doe to a team member who does not respond to emails

Meeting Accomplishments -
almost nothing

Client/Team Interactions:
the client loves me but they were kinda pissed off that they drove over an hour to do nothing

Problems or Concerns:
see my email

Shannon McMath from the Habitat for Humnaity group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
I met with the client several times throughout the process, both with other team members and by myself. We also emailed regularly.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We finished up addressing what they were looking for on the ReStore pages.

Client/Team Interactions:
We interacted well.

Problems or Concerns:
No

Jenny Marin from the Face to Face group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
It was Face to Face meeting with our client. Damian, Yoshi, Rich and myself were present.

Meeting Accomplishments -
The last changes. Very minor changes that are easy to fix such as: font side for tables, add e-mail links, change color of buttons.

Client/Team Interactions:
Very very well.

Problems or Concerns:
No. it was a very nice meeting and everybody was happy and satisfied with the results.

David Rivezzo from the St. Vincent's Elementary group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met today 5/20 at 10:00 am. The meeting included myself, Austin, Chris, and our clients Stacy and Kristi. Our contact before this meeting was primarily via email.

Meeting Accomplishments -
All site materials were handed off as well as a client manual that was all contained on a CD. All materials were copied from the CD to the client's hard drive. We then set up the local site in Dreamweaver and set the server connection in Dreamweaver to connect to their remote server. The team proceeded to continue with the site upload to the client's server to launch the site live for the client! Our programmer and Designer then conducted quick tutorials to explain to the client how to update the site.

Client/Team Interactions:
The team and client interaction was much the same as it has been throughout the semester, pleasant and professional. Myself and the team as well has really enjoyed working with our client.

Problems or Concerns:
My only concern is that our programmer did not use any really user friendly widgets our update-able scripts that will allow the user to easily update the calendar or slide shows. The client will have to actually go into the code view to update these things which they did not seem to happy about.

Talisha Melluish from the Napa Valley Breastfeeding Coalition group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The team met face to face with client on two occasions that I am aware, due to distance I could not be present and the main contact for our client was no comfortable using Skype. The rest of our contact with the client has been via phone and email from two members of the Coalition (Mary and at the end, Connie) and all of our team.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Each meeting was set to accomplish different aspects of the job, our final meeting will be to accomplish the hand-off of the site and all of its components. Prior to this meeting our last meeting was verifying information and overall site testing which was done successfully.

Client/Team Interactions:
We had to overcome a few bumps in the road, nothing a good phone conversation couldn't clear up. Overall I think we interacted pretty well.

Problems or Concerns:
Not at this point.

Cecilia Hernandez from the La Voz group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We meet in person a few time and also contact the client via email (which they perfered)

Meeting Accomplishments -
Planning, designing, meeting the client, answering questions

Client/Team Interactions:
The client and the team interacted well. We only had a few issues

Problems or Concerns:
It was some times hard to get out client to stay on track. But we managed.

Caroline Quintanilla from the Birth Psychology group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
There were several all-team face-to-face client meetings where I was on Skype. There were also several meetings with the client with just parts of the team to go over specific details. We often had email contact with the client as well. The last meeting was on Sunday to go over the site with the client and train her on how to use the Drupal interface and the help pages, which is essentially her "manual".

Meeting Accomplishments -
The programmer and one of our CD's trained the client on using the Drupal interface and the help pages. They went over the entire site to ensure that she knew what was there, how to access it, how to update the content areas, and how to help her organization's members understand the site.

Client/Team Interactions:
As always, the client was appreciative of all the work that has been put in to the new site. The team has been friendly, professional, and helpful to the client.

Problems or Concerns:
The site is very big and there is quite a bit more that can be done. I believe we gave her a good platform to move forward, the capability to do everything she wants. We weren't able to do it all. I don't this is a concern for the client, but I know the team would have liked to have had time to make the site even better.

Olga Komar from the Napa Valley Breastfeeding Coalition group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We use e-mails all the time. They work pretty good.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We had only one meeting with our client and it was on initial step.

Client/Team Interactions:
We interact really good. No complains.

Problems or Concerns:
NO

Miranda Limonczenko from the Birth Psychology group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The final meeting was on Sunday the 14th. We communicated mostly through email, and all of the transactions have been positive.

Meeting Accomplishments -
I was not a participant in this meeting, but I got the report that the transfer of the site to our client went smoothly. She was excited and pleased with the work and effort we put into the site, and she learned how to go through the motions to run the site. She had slight concerns extending beyond the limitations we set with this project, but they may be addressed in the future.

Client/Team Interactions:
Very well. The client was a very involved participant the whole way, always acting questions and pushing the limits. But she was also very courteous and forgiving. I enjoyed my team's interacting with the client.

Problems or Concerns:
No concerns. Everything's wrapping up on time and as expected.

Desmond McQuoid from the REFB group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have met a total of 7 times with the client. We met with them last Friday to finalize hand-off of the site to their web designer. We communicate constantly by email and occasionally by phone.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We established the protocol for finalizing any changes to the site by their designer and what help we were prepared to assit them with. We reinforced the deadline and set up follow up times this week to make the transition.

Client/Team Interactions:
Very well. The client was very appreciative and respectful. We will work with them to be full on up and running this week. We created a new calendar page for them as an interim http://refb2.mokeeweb.net/html/calendar.html, tweaked their interactive video player and support ribbon, http://refb2.mokeeweb.net/Standard%20Skin/media.html built a mock up of the way their off site payment processing form will look like, and tweaked the search engine. http://refb2.mokeeweb.net/html/donate.html 99% of everything left has been placed in their hands.

Problems or Concerns:
The COO was a little hesitant about taking the big leap and putting the new site up live, but her two assistants are working on getting her past her jitters

Dylan Limonczenko from the SRJC CS Video group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
I met with my group several times to go over some of the requirements of the project, and what the results were.

Meeting Accomplishments -
I was able to get some of the video files that was required for me to use to edit.

Client/Team Interactions:
We took a look at each others projects and gave input on what else to use for it.

Problems or Concerns:
Nothing that I could think of. I think it's really coming together.

Christopher Berggren from the St. Vincent Elementary group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We all met initially with our clients Stacy & Kristi. We have been in contact with Stacy on a regular basis ever since then via email and phone.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We will be handing off the site to her on Friday. I anticipate and we are on track to accomplish all our goals and assist in putting the site up and training.

Client/Team Interactions:
We interacted well for the most part, some team members could have interacted more with the client.

Problems or Concerns:
Well she does keep coming up with more stuff to add and change, I have always accommodated her but at this point she realizes that we have gone above and beyond and she will have to make any further changes after hand off.

Brandon Giovannoni from the 4Paws group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have not met since the proposal. There has been a steady flow of emails between the team and the client. Regarding some minor changes and testing.

Meeting Accomplishments -
What was accomplished since the last meeting is a successful completion of the clients website .

Client/Team Interactions:
We have been interacting through emails and have been very professional.

Problems or Concerns:
There are no problems regarding the client, they have been great to work for.

Yoshinori Abe from the Face to Face group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met face to face to org for the final modification. (face to face meeting )

Meeting Accomplishments -
The meeting decided the final modifications for the web site.

Client/Team Interactions:
Everything went very smoothly.

Problems or Concerns:
My biggest concern is the hand-out instruction manual. It is very hard to explain by written instruction.

Dia Jenkins from the Napa valley Breastfeeding Coaltion group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met once at the beginning of the project. The Designer and the Project Manger from our team attended, as did two representatives from the client. Most additional communication was via e-mail with a couple of phone calls.

Meeting Accomplishments -
In hindsight, not as much as should have been. We got to know the client and their expectations a little better.

Client/Team Interactions:
Pretty well for the most part.

Problems or Concerns:
I hope they like their site and can maintain it.

Jeanene McCormack from the NAMI group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The last meeting that we had with the client was with our entire team where I presented the design changes to the featured text box on the right side of the page. All other contact with the client has been by email. Client will be attending the final presentation.

Meeting Accomplishments -
I presented the featured text box on all 28 pages with text which was extrapolated from the previous designed page. It took 12 hours to do the work and then since the client really liked the new text box she had many more changes based on the new design change.

Client/Team Interactions:
The client and team has always interacted well. I did run into health problems and exhaustion from 200 hours of work. The original design took about 100 hours and the new featured text box was like beginning all over again. It took another 200 hours so this was extremely exhausting and frustrating. Thanks to you, Linda, for relieving e of any further work on this.

Problems or Concerns:
No concerns at all. The client should be ecstatic beyond belief at what they are receiving. It will be a very professional and beautiful site.

Jane Daniel from the Petaluma Recycling Center group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We did not meet again with the client at the end. We are still communicating by email and phone. Kevin has arranged for the installation of the site for this week. I received the client feedback and made some small adjustments to the site to address his concerns. All testing has been completed, though we would have liked a higher level of participation by end users.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Website publication has been arranged. End user information for Testing was supplied and utilized. Testing responses have been received and acted upon. Information was provided by me to Kevin for the manual. Additional updates were made by Kevin to our project site.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our communication worked. Everyone responded to emails within a two-day window and met their established target dates. Kevin addressed the client when his testing requests exceeded the boundaries of the test. The client has been very appreciative of our efforts.

Problems or Concerns:
No.

James Anderson from the Resurrection Roller Girls group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The last time that I met with the client was the night of the web proposal sign off. Both Monique and Amy were present at the meeting. The meeting went as well as it could seeing that the circumstances of the location was not ideal. Since then I have had a few email contacts with both Monique and Amy and a phone meeting with Monique.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Both the email and phone meetings were regarding getting content to our CD. The content was supplied in a timely manner after these contacts.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think the client and our team interacted well. The Designer on the team and the client probably had the most contact with the client in order to iron out a lot of layout and design issues that came up.

Problems or Concerns:
I believe the client is very happy so far with the outcome of the project and don't see any problems or concerns with the client at this time.

Susan Brennan from the Habitat for Humanity group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Sarah contacted client regarding changes through email.

Meeting Accomplishments -
changes were made

Client/Team Interactions:
client was happy

Problems or Concerns:
NO

Jacqueline Richmond from the NAMI Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The entire team met with the client several weeks ago to finalize revisions to the site. All team members have been in communication with the client via e-mail and phone frequently since that meeting. Our final client meeting is planned for May 19 to train and review the client manual.

Meeting Accomplishments -
At the meeting several weeks ago, we reviewed all the pages and confirmed additional changes. We also discussed the remaining tasks on the project, as well as the timeline.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our client was very responsive, detail-oriented and appreciative throughout the project. Overall, our interactions were excellent!

Problems or Concerns:
No, everything went well.

Debra Gardber from the La Voz group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
the last face to face meeting was when client signed off on the site. OUr PM did a fine job of handling the client. The Designer has had the last email contact with client and will be setting up a date to do the training.

Meeting Accomplishments -
The email that the Designer got back from client gave us her site testing. It is to bad that our client is hard to understand.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our team interacted fine the client was to wishy washy.

Problems or Concerns:
We all in hopes of her using the site we created. I may need some work for it to be perfect for her. But, we are giving her something at least to start with.

Sarah Fogarty from the Habitat for Humanity group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
I personally met with the client on three occasions and exchanged emails several times a week throughout the semester. I did not have a final meeting, but will, later this week, email her a personal thank you for being such a great client.

Meeting Accomplishments -
All our meetings were focused and to the point.

Client/Team Interactions:
I believe we interacted very well. We both expressed relief that we shared similar qualities of being organized and had the ability to stay on task.

Problems or Concerns:
None.

Kevin Schirado from the Petaluma Recycling group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We had two face to face meetings early in the developement cycle. All other contact has been done via email. Typically we get a response from the client within 1 or 2 days. All of our interactions have been very productive. When we have needed input Arthur has been clear and helpful. When he has raised concerns we have mostly been able to address them quickly.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Our last interaction was during the client testing. Arthur had some suggestions which Jane was able to address. The websitte is now being moved to its premanent home. I am awaiting confoirmation of the staging of the site so that I can complete final check out. I expect the site to be available by 5/18.

Client/Team Interactions:
We have worked very well together.

Problems or Concerns:
No.

Mary Neal-Norton from the Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
As we have done all along, our Program Manager contacted the client with questions we had concerning changes to be made from the client's testing review. This was done by email and the client responded immediately.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We were given the information we needed to change the site and requests that could not be satisfied were discussed.

Client/Team Interactions:
All went great. Client accepted our stance and we had no difficulties at all.

Problems or Concerns:
No, we were blessed with really wonderful clients, especially Kathy Fong who took the helm.

Sue McGee from the Greenacre Homes group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Aside from our initial meeting at the beginning of the semester, all of our contact with the client has been via email. We have not handed over the final live site as of yet.

Meeting Accomplishments -
N/A

Client/Team Interactions:
At the beginning of the project we felt very fortunate in that the client was very good at acknowledging emails and returning requested information/content, etc. Towards the end, however, that had come to almost a complete stop.

Problems or Concerns:
At the very first F2F meeting we had with the client, we made known the issue of liability (in regards to the boys who live at the home). It wasn't until after all the video had been shot and we were 3/4 of the way into building the site that he took the media back to edit them himself. This, along with the communication of the client and the editing process of our IMD has been a huge factor in meeting our deadlines and Deliverable obligations.

Richard Bassett from the Face To Face group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met with Lauren and Emily at Face To Face on Wed. the 11th of May. Myself, Jenny, Yoshi and Damian were also present. Any follow up will be done with email or by phone.

Meeting Accomplishments -
The team went over final and last minute changes. There are just a few items like text size, color and some links to take care of. No major changes.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our team and the client always interact very well. We have been very lucky in that regard!

Problems or Concerns:
We have no problems or concerns regarding our client. They are thrilled with the site!

Zechariah Manning from the Greenacre Homes group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Mostly all of my contact with the client has been through email. I have communicated with them once through Skype. The handoff will be done this way as well.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We have finalized the image placement and corrected issues the client submitted through their testing

Client/Team Interactions:
We interacted pretty well for the most part. The workload seemed to be a bit lopsided in some areas but in the end, the project website was completed with the majority of the elements delivered to the client.

Problems or Concerns:
The client turned out to be very elusive during the last month or so of the buid this was a very un-oportune time fir this to happen considering the project was being finalized and brought to completion.

Imelda Guzman from the Redwood Empire Food Bank group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The team met with the client today on 5/13/2011 to go over the client manual, the final presentation, hand-off and any other questions about the site the client may have had

Meeting Accomplishments -
Designer will complete their part of the client manual and send it to PM to revise and add input. The client and designer will set up a time to meet for training on the new site. All materials will be handed to the client once training is complete.

Client/Team Interactions:
Client and team interactions have been good and respectful.

Problems or Concerns:
Not at this time.

Dennis Bolt from the NAMI Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met several weeks ago as the pages were being finished. The whole team was present. Since then we have contacted client about testing and last changes.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We made final choices of stock art and palcement of some content. We will meet with client May 19 to move files to their server and do handoff manual.

Client/Team Interactions:
We had a great interaction with client.

Problems or Concerns:
No.

Kevin Chhoeuy from the Sonoma County Reptile Rescue group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met back when the class first started. We met at the reptile rescue base in Sebastopol. Derek, Travis, and myself were there along with our client Laurie.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We discovered what was wanted and needed to be put on the site, what the site was about, what the facility is used for and who they are. There has been numerous amount of changes since this meeting.

Client/Team Interactions:
The team interacts well with out client because she is very flexible and we can be too.

Problems or Concerns:
not yet

Jonathan Harmon from the Wildlife group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We will meet tomorrow, the whole team.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We're going to hand off the disc.

Client/Team Interactions:
We always interact fine.

Problems or Concerns:
No.

Kimberly Collins from the LITE Initiatives group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The first meeting was early in the class by myself and the client, in person. They completed my questionnaire completely and seemed to be looking forward to the process. Then, the entire team met with client again to review design questionnaire put together by the designer. Client was a little scattered and defensive about her tech skills. A third in person meeting with designer, instructor and client to resolve design issues. All other contact was with email. Email responses from client was late, scattered and rarely helpful.

Meeting Accomplishments -
First meeting was just a preliminary look at what they had and didn't like about their website and what they were looking for in their new website. Second meeting was an attempt to determine more about design and colors. Client gave us CD of images that were not useful for site. Third meeting was to resolve design issues as client new what she didn't like but couldn't define what she did like. Thought the meeting resolved the issues but finally designer had to make his own decisions.

Client/Team Interactions:
Terribly. She was always "too busy" to gather content. When she did send content, it was usually something she had already sent before, nothing new. I really think that she may be too scattered to focus and probably should not have been selected as a client. She was told of content deadlines on Feb. 20th and reminded time after time with the deadline moved further and further along. We still never got all the content and website shows that.

Problems or Concerns:
I am concerned that clients like this do not understand that the class has a timeline that must be followed. If the class is indeed in their "busy season" they should not be accepted into the program. Their is no way a team can be successful if they do not have a cooperative client to work for. If she was a true client of mine, I would have set aside her site to work on someone else's site. Extremely frustrating...

Derek Bowker from the Sonoma County Reptile Rescue group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We will be meeting sometime this weekend to hand off the site, possibly sooner.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We will be handing off the site to her.

Client/Team Interactions:
They have interacted very well. If my team mates had any questions for Laurie they either called her, emailed her, or meet with her.

Problems or Concerns:
None.

Derek Fiedler from the Wildlife group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
I last contacted the client with an email. Our designer Jim has had the most recent contact because he was completing the testing survey with her.

Meeting Accomplishments -
She provided names for the user testing.

Client/Team Interactions:
She has been a joy to work with. Very fortunate to have her as a client.

Problems or Concerns:

Lennie Briese from the AIARE group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have met several times during the process. Each time it was productive and we left with tasks as appropriate. We also had numerous email contacts whenever needed. Generally, the client and team members were responsive.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We had gone over a couple small remaining issues and some training. The client seemed happy each time we left.

Client/Team Interactions:
Interaction was always timely and appropriate. We rarely had to re-ask for information or decisions.

Problems or Concerns:
No. The client was very involved and seems capable. I don't think she will have any problem running the site.

Ellen Horstman from the Sonoma Humane Society group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Our last meeting was 5/7, with Monte, Scott, Angie and I all on Skype. Peter was unavailable. We had a rundown of the testing results, mostly looking at the typical users answers. Since then we have been emailing and talking about all the fixes we are working on.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We came up with some ideas of things that could be corrected, like problems using the search feature and Angie made a list of broken links, missing pdf's, some incorrect data, or things she wanted to see look better, such as white background on jpg's being removed since we have a different colored background now. The users found a few typos, so it was good to get a few different sets of eyes reviewing everything. I wish we had prefaced the test letter to let them know that there were some areas that were not complete yet or that only had test information and not complete data yet.

Client/Team Interactions:
Very well. I thought some good information came out of the testing, things you don't think about while you are in the thick of it. There also were some opinions that might have been more helpful while we were in the design or production stages, but well before we were at the end. I think the client was pleased with the test results, also.

Problems or Concerns:
No, Angie has been a great client to work for. She has always been helpful to me getting the documents or images I needed right away and she answers emails very promptly. She is very patient with us, and really appreciates how much we all have been putting into this project. PS - On Saturday, I got a 4 week old kitten from them to foster - she is really cute. It's fun to have a baby in the house for a while!

Kathy Samoun from the RECAMFT group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Most of my communication with the client has been over the phone, discussing refinements to the design and the forms and search.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We were able to get the site to where the client is very very happy.

Client/Team Interactions:
We have a wonderful client and the team all interacted with him great!

Problems or Concerns:
none

Kathy Samoun from the The RainTree Initiative group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have not met with the client recently although I have had numerous telephone conversations and emails with the client.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Mostly design implementation for Interactive media and addressing clients concerns about general design and communication

Client/Team Interactions:
There were some very rough spots, but in the end we accomplished most of what we wanted to accomplish

Problems or Concerns:
He is not 100% satisfied with the outcome of the site..there were things he was hoping for that got left off the site.

Kerry Forbes from the SRJC Music Department group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
I am trying to arrange a final meeting with the client at the moment. I will be checking with PR about this.

Meeting Accomplishments -
TBA

Client/Team Interactions:
We have not had much communication to date. Most communication was done via PR. We have had 2 meetings, and he did do the required testing I had sent him. I had sent a couple of emails to him trying to move content along faster, but that is all the contact we have really had.

Problems or Concerns:
I am unsure what he knows and doesn't know. He didn't seem to know that the Facebook/twitter and My space pages were no longer being done due to SRJC legal. I am unsure if my collages met his design hopes and if the photos used were reflecting the page correctly (that is due to my lack of knowledge with Musical instruments). He did mention in his test results that this was the case with the home page yet didn't specifically mention any collages that I had done.

Monte George from the Sonoma Humane Society group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We continue to meet with client over skype every Friday. If we have questions we either call our email Angie and she response quickly to our requests

Meeting Accomplishments -
Last meeting we went over testing. This was helpful to the client and our team, and allowed us to start working right away with cleaning things up.

Client/Team Interactions:
The client is apart of our team and has always been viewed as one of us. We all have great working relationship with her.

Problems or Concerns:
Things are going very well. We are currently working on getting the site moved over. Would like to have this done by Friday to her volunteers can begin putting in data.

Jarel Culley from the AIA Redwood Empire group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met at client's home office. Taught her about using the CMS system.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Final stages of design and content layout. Also what else we needed from members such as business logos that needed to be uploaded.

Client/Team Interactions:
We have had a lot of email communication.

Problems or Concerns:
The client was great.

Damian Baker from the LITE Initiatives group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The full team met with the client initially and and a couple of times throughout the course. The primary form of communication was email.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Not a lot. The client had a very strong personality and was never prepared, so we always left meetings with the promise that we would be sent information, but then would never get it. And when we would follow up she would make excuses and extend the deadline for weeks until we eventually had to make decisions without her.

Client/Team Interactions:
Horribly, probably the most difficult person I have had to work with professionally.

Problems or Concerns:
She turned what could have been a positive and informative experience into the most frustrating academic experience of my life.

Debb Womak from the SRJC-Computer Studies Video Project group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have met multiple times and some of us may meet to pass off files, etc

Meeting Accomplishments -
I think every meeting we have had this semester helped us reach our final goal. Our meeting last Friday established the criteria for the final grade.

Client/Team Interactions:
Unlike with a web design, I think we all had to become members of the team by default. Video can be much more complicated than producing a web page.

Problems or Concerns:
My concerns have slowly faded away during the course of this project. The completed products represent months of hard work from the clients and the team. Linda has been very open to creating a product both the JC and the students can be proud of.

Mark Alarie from the SR Tool Library group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We last met in person about 2 weeks ago. We continue to email a couple times a week.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We are finalizing the testing and what to expect after the class ends

Client/Team Interactions:
I thought we did well, even better as time went on and we got to know each other.

Problems or Concerns:
None right now, we have resolved some concern about when the site will actually go live and replace the existing site.

Debb Womack from the Santa Rosa Tool Library group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
all of the recent conatact with Dustin has been via e-mail

Meeting Accomplishments -
we determined when the launch will happen and we can not pass off the material until mark is done

Client/Team Interactions:
Dustin had some odd request such as a very generic looking site.Once he explained his reasoning for things it was much easier to be supportive.

Problems or Concerns:
Dustin says he will come to the final meeting if he can find someone to "fill in " for 2 hours next Monday

Deanna Stropes from the Redwood Empire Active 2030 Club group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Our communication has been via e-mail, which is our client's preference. This has worked very well for us because we both check our messages frequently and respond within 24 hours. The only time we've met in person was at the initial meeting, which included the client, the former CD, the DES and myself, the PM.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We got a very good feeling for the client's goals and aesthetic preferences. We also reached a clear agreement about the timetable for content, images, and other project components.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our team had a good initial interaction with the client. We spent a lot of time on design, to get a feeling for her likes and dislikes.

Problems or Concerns:
Although the client has been very hands-on and concerned with minutia, for the most part we've maintain a steady-as-she-goes ambiance. I've made a concerted effort to keep her well-informed and updated with front-burner issues, and she seems to appreciate the effort.

Heriberto Villanueva from the APPPAH group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
I didn't meet with client due to different schedule but out Project Manager was present.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Discussion over learing dreamweaver

Client/Team Interactions:
We have always interacted just fine with out client. Very nice person.

Problems or Concerns:
No.

Thomas Mcsweeney from the Sonoma County Museum group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Diane, Sarah-Jane, and I met March 19th to final the images for the Slideshows. Eric Stanley, the Exhibitions/Collections Curator I received final image and caption suggestions for the Slideshows on April 15th from the Exhibitions/Collections Curator, a full month past the "content frozen" date. I was able to implement many of these changes.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We discussed the images chosen from all the content that was submitted from the client. We solidified the images and the image order.

Client/Team Interactions:
We got along well, I think we listened to the clients concerns and requests and got positive feedback from the client regarding our submissions.

Problems or Concerns:
No problems; there have been some last minute requests for more content and it's been a good exercise in being firm while letting the client know what their options are.

Peter Wilson from the Sonoma Humane Society group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have not had our final meeting yet, but we have had a lot of interaction with our client in the past few days. I have personally been emailing and talking on Skype with our client at least once a day.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We our finding out a few more details that are being requested of us by our client. We have told her no to a few things, but they are mostly doable.

Client/Team Interactions:
The client and our team have interacted very well and I haven't heard of any conflicts or problems related with our communication.

Problems or Concerns:
The only problem that we have is that the client continues to request new content that cannot be accomplished.

Nancy Tracy from the AIA Redwood Empire group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We last met on April 14th and we have a meeting scheduled for this Wednesday

Meeting Accomplishments -
Finalized the site before testing began. Discussed adding a paypal button. Did some initial teaching of the site interface to the client

Client/Team Interactions:
great

Problems or Concerns:
no

Jay Vorzimer from the Redwood Empire 20-30 Club group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
I initially met with the client in a face to face meeting in the third week of the semester in which the following people were present: Deanna Stropes, Anika, Jay Vorzimer, and Erica Walker. Additionally, I had two phone conversations with the client and numerous emails.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Overall design and layout specifications.

Client/Team Interactions:
Very well.

Problems or Concerns:
No.

Diane Lapena from the RECAMFT group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Our contact with the client at this stage has taken place over the phone and with email. Both the designer/programmer (Kathy) and I have spoken separately with our client and we cc team members on most email messages.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Our discussions with the client have involved finalizing images and minor changes to website content, and how we were going to proceed after our programmer withdrew from the class.

Client/Team Interactions:
The client was very flexible and cooperative and responded fairly quickly to email and phone messages.

Problems or Concerns:
No. He has been very accommodating of our team personnel changes, and has been understanding about a few compromises the team has had to make in what we can deliver in the final website.

Janis Oberman from the Childrens Village, SRJC Video Project group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Children's Village - It is completed and has just about completed testing. SRJC Video Project - All of the videos are almost completed. However, they need to be approved and final editing has to be done.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Childrens Village - The testing is pretty much completed. But, changes need to be done which reflect the results of the user testing. SRJC Video Project - I need to upload the completed video, with the end sequence onto the Maggini server and upload the final version onto YouTube. It also needs final approval.

Client/Team Interactions:
The Children's Village team seems to be interacting fine with the client at this point. I've finally resolved most of the problems with the SRJC Video Project.

Problems or Concerns:
Not now, things seem to have pulled together...I've already communicated enough about this with the video team.

Roger Johnson from the APPPAH group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have met over phone and via email throughout the project. Most recently I spoke with Maureen on Saturday, May 8th.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We agreed that I would spend time with her to get her familiar with using Dreamweaver so that she will be able to maintain the website after it has been turned over to her.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think there needs to be more one-on-one discussion between the designer and client so that very clear requirements can be ironed out. It wasn't clear how much discussion could be had without involvement with the project manager and that may have created problems with reviewing iteration in the design. Setting a date and time to have regular meetings, even if they are later cancelled would have also improved the process.

Problems or Concerns:
I found hard to say "No" because the client wanted things that were probably beyond the scope of our class and skill level of our team. Had I kept that in focus it would have helped to prevent scope creep.

Christy Molnar from the Museum group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Christy Molnar from the Museum group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have not set up the hand off to the client yet.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We plan on handing over CD of site and instruction manual and possibility setting up training time.

Client/Team Interactions:
The client has been to busy with a gala to answer my survey.

Problems or Concerns:
We are in contact and I understand the delay with the survey questions.

Holly Folendorf from the SRJC Music Department group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Our team has met with PR and Joe Perea, Kerry has also met with Corrine numerouse times. We have met in person and communicated through emaikl.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We decided that we were not going to be finishing the entire site

Client/Team Interactions:
We interact well with the client. Joe is really nice and ready to help with whatever he needs to do.

Problems or Concerns:
No.

Jaena Bloomquist from the AIA Redwood Empire group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met several times over the course of the semester and had a few phone conversations as well as innumerable emails with the client.

Meeting Accomplishments -
The meetings were always productive, although there were a lot of changes made along the way which made the project more challenging.

Client/Team Interactions:
We all interacted very well; the client is enthusiastic about the project and was always available to the team.

Problems or Concerns:
There were a couple of times when we needed to let her know that we had to stop making changes and adding content due to class deadlines. Other than that there were no issues.

Rose Carlson from the grandparents parenting again group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
we meet several times with the client and i met alone with the client twice to be sure that we had accomplished the desired design. We never talked over the phone and most communication was done by email. Towards the end the whole team was having a hard time getting a response from the client thru email so we decided to ask the client to meet in face, which had better results.

Meeting Accomplishments -
design and layouts and content was always the main topic at our meetings.

Client/Team Interactions:
I personally thought the client was difficult. She would not respond to some emails and get the needed content and photos which made it harder and pushed our time constraints. Also she the client is on the board for the grandparents and was telling the board one thing and us another so it got confusing with the test results.

Problems or Concerns:
No, just what I said above but it has been resolved and was minor.

Barbara Evans from the Sonoma County Museum group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The last time we met as a team with the client was for the proposal meeting which went very well. More recently we have had email contact with the client regarding testing. Some of the users cc'd the client on their feedback and the client emailed me asking that we not make the user's suggested changes. I emailed the client to assure her we wouldn't make any changes without her approval beyond typos/broken links. I also managed expectations with the client for the scope of changes from the testing phase to be limited to minor fixes.

Meeting Accomplishments -
In the proposal meeting we accomplished reaching agreement on the deliverables and timing and getting a signed contract. In the testing-related emails I accomplished managing client expectations and reassuring her we wouldn't be changing the design that Christy and she worked so hard to arrive at!

Client/Team Interactions:
We all interacted very well. It was a cordial, open and friendly relationship.

Problems or Concerns:
no

Carlos Downie from the Grandparents Parenting . . . Again group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Last time we met with our client as a team was when we were complete with the templates and site layout. The client along with a friend/board member was present during our last meeting. As of then we have had email communication and the designer has met with the client on more than one occasion. We plan to meet the client this coming week as our final meeting; when we will train the client on updating the site and help the client upload the new site to the server.

Meeting Accomplishments -
During our last meeting we were able to confirm with the client everything that was needed to begin the production phase of the project. We mostly discussed the template, storyboard and site design along with listening to the client's suggestions and voicing our questions/concerns about the site.

Client/Team Interactions:
The interaction between our client and the team was relaxed and friendly. Our meeting had some structure and we were able to cover most of what we wanted during the meeting. However our interaction through email has been less smooth than it could be as sometimes we would email the client and never get a response. Also there was at times some confusion on what the client was expecting, sometimes she would tell us she wanted something this way and we would follow that; then later she would claim that we had not delivered what had been decided during the meeting. Overall our interaction with the client has been positive and constructive, with only a few misinterpretations between the team and the client.

Problems or Concerns:
The only concern I have at this time is that, despite delivering everything we had on the proposal which the client looked over and signed, the client will not be 100% satisfied with everything. Most of what the client wanted for the site that we did not deliver was due to the client's inability to provide the needed content. Hopefully the client will understand that we have delivered everything she wanted using the content and feedback she gave us. This is more of a concern than a problem however.

James (Jim) Anderson from the A Wildlife Exclusion Service group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Most recently I contacted the client by phone with some questions on the corrections that she wanted made to the final site.

Meeting Accomplishments -
During the phone meeting we also discussed the Final Presentation night. As of that day...about a week ago she was not aware of it.

Client/Team Interactions:
The client and I interacted very well.

Problems or Concerns:
I'm a little concerned that the client hasn't been briefed on what she still needs to do and that she was not aware of the final presentation night. I'm hoping this has been taken care of by now.

Anna Narbutovskih from the The RainTree Initiative group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The entire team met with the client several times throughout the semester. Most of the contact took place by email though there were several phone conversations.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Mostly during the team/client meetings we attempted to nail down what the client wanted for the broad scope of his site and to attempt to nail down a design for the site. The client had some difficulty settling on a basic design for the site instead concentrating on the redesign of the logo.

Client/Team Interactions:
The team and the client had broad communication difficulties. The client feels very strongly that the team failed to ask the client the correct questions concerning the site functionality that would have produced a site with the desired features.

Problems or Concerns:
The client is very upset with the finished product due to the lack of the missing features. It's unfortunate and I'm sorry about it.

Imelda Guzman from the Grandparents Parenting . . . Again group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
It's been awhile since our last meeting but we have a last client team meeting set for Friday 5/14. Most of our contact up to this point has been through email which has worked just fine.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Our last team, client meeting was when the team presented the Web Proposal. Content and Design were signed off by the client and the list of Deliverables and Standards were gone over with the client.

Client/Team Interactions:
Interaction by all was positive.

Problems or Concerns:
Not at this time.

Travis Carroll from the Sonoma County Reptile Rescue group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met back when the class first started. We all went to the Sonoma County Reptile Rescue location which is the owners house that he uses to do most of his work at. The client Laurie was there, as well as my team, Derek and Kevin.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We talked about the general layout, color scheme, what Laurie wanted and what Al wanted. There have been many changes since the original meeting.

Client/Team Interactions:
We interacted very well, our client for the most part in getting back to us was very on top of things.

Problems or Concerns:
Some instances it took a bit for her to respond but she was very busy and is to be expected once in awhile to have delayed responses.

Noah Freitas from the The Children's Village group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have had two face to face meeting with the client thus far. The first was the initial meeting and the second was to sign the web proposal. As PM, I have provided the client with weekly status updates. We are also trying to set up a time for next week with the client to perform training and assist with uploading the site so that it is on their server for the final presentation.

Meeting Accomplishments -
See above.

Client/Team Interactions:
Mostly very well. The client was fairly demanding with what they wanted for the site and requested numerous small changes. I believe this was due to the fact that there were many opinions and decision makers involved on the client's end. This made them a somewhat difficult client to deal with in the context of the course. Had they been a real client we probably would have given them more time to finalize their group decisions on design and content issues. Also, we would have billed them for all the additional changes. :)

Problems or Concerns:
I am a bit concerned that the client will not provide us with a time to perform the training and assist with the server upload. The training is for their benefit, and we will provide them with the client manual no matter what. However, I would much rather have the site on their server for the final presentation, but this may not be possible.

Stephen Rodier from the American Philharmonic group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
I met with the client last night at their tenth anniversary Gala after the concert and on 5/2

Meeting Accomplishments -
Last night we discussed changes and training. Before that Mark and I met with Krisha at my house on 5/2, we uploaded the new site to the philharmonic server. After that we downloaded a copy of Dreamweaver to Krisha's laptop and installed it. Then I transferred the site to her laptop.

Client/Team Interactions:
We had a great time and there was a great sense of accomplishment having the site go live when they wanted it without any glitches. She was happy to leave with dreamweaver installed and working

Problems or Concerns:
No I hope all my clients will be as pleasant and helpful as Krisha is.

Amy McVicar from the Sonoma County Folk Society group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Entire team will meet with client on Wednesday evening to turnover and train. Since I was going to take Friday off for a Friday or Saturday meeting with client and it was changed to Wednesday last week, I will try to make it. The meeting was moved from Wednesday morning to evening so that Anna could make it and I could try to make it.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Hopefully: Installing the website. Training and turnover. Receipt of reference letters.

Client/Team Interactions:
Probably well. Our team has email communication problems but I think we can pull it together for a meeting. I also think we communicate better in person.

Problems or Concerns:
Nope.

Jonathan Piehl from the PFSP group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have not met with the client since mid semester. We have emailed the client letting her know about the completion of the site and asked for feedback.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We haven't had the final meeting yet.

Client/Team Interactions:
I'll let you know when we interact with the client.

Problems or Concerns:
The only concern I have is if the client will actually populate the site with new content and upload it to the web.

Stefan Fanslow from the Women's Global Leadership Initiative group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
there hasn't been a formal meeting with the client since the web proposal signing (or what was suppposed to be a signing anyway).

Meeting Accomplishments -
n/a

Client/Team Interactions:
very well..

Problems or Concerns:
as the final, it's a bit late for that.

Jennifer James from the WGLI group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have been conversing via email primarily at the moment. The first couple of meetings took place at the beginning of the class.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We have not had a meeting with the client recently.

Client/Team Interactions:
The client and the team have been interacting good throughout this course. It was a challenge working with a client who has little computer knowledge, but we managed to work through her wishlist.

Problems or Concerns:
The client has been wonderful through this process. I have no problems or concerns.

Albert Shanto from the Legal Aid of Sonoma County group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We have not yet scheduled the final meeting. I last met with the client 6 weeks ago. We have numerous email contact with them each week.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Finalizing the images for the slideshows and the homepage.

Larry Roberts from the FANHS group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
Our final client meeting was a training session that lasted for about 2.5 hours. Randy Jaillet (DES, CD) was there, I was there, as well as Alicia Watson, our primary client, and 3 FANHS board members.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Randy spent an hour showing the client how to edit specific sections of the website. I showed them how to edit the online calendar and add / edit users to the FANHS email account and Google Apps.

Client/Team Interactions:
The client and team has always had great interaction.

Problems or Concerns:
Alicia Watson (The Client) took the time to tell us that they were very pleased with the website, and the performance of the SRJC team.

Jerilynn Johnson from the Legal Aid of Sonoma County group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
I have met with the client in person two times. We are in the process of scheduling one last meeting to do the training - hopefully it will take place later this week. Beyond the face to face meetings there have been numerous emails between us and the client.

Meeting Accomplishments -
During the past meetings we've managed a lot, so hopefully we will at our last meeting as well. I hope to train our client on how to make simple updates to the site.

Client/Team Interactions:
Interaction has been good, although our client has gone away for small periods of time without telling us beforehead, so we didn't know when to expect her back.

Problems or Concerns:
None at this time

Cathea Scheer from the Partners for Sustainable Pollination group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
my contact only involved 2 meeting with entire group. have had no additional contact of any kind.

Meeting Accomplishments -
unfortunately, we got very little of our objectives accomplished at the meetings. we tried to pose questions to the client, but she would go off on her own tangent. needless to say, not very productive. we did learn she was unprepared, not good at listening, and perhaps not too receptive to trying to understand what we needed from her.

Client/Team Interactions:
we were polite, listened, no harsh words or emotions, but we didn't connect.

Problems or Concerns:
well, it would have been nice if she had been prepared and available to participate 100%.

Nichelle Rourke from the Sonoma County Folk Society group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We had 4 face to face meetings with the client. Each meeting was very important for answering questions and knowing exactly what the client expected. I spoke with the president only once on the phone to establish contact, but since have used email exclusively.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Since in the beginning emails did not flow as rapidly from the client as we had hoped, the meetings were the necessary ways to clear up concerns and get some different opinions from their group. The mood was always very inspiring and comfortable.

Client/Team Interactions:
Since the clients were very relaxed and interested in the project, they were very open to our direction and suggestions. They generally let us lead the meetings and communication flowed well. They have kindly invited us to some of their events.

Problems or Concerns:
My main concerns were in the beginning with defining content and receiving it. At this point, the client must be trained to update the website properly. I am confident that they will understand and make a good effort. However, they will probably run into problems later when more questions or problems arise.

Randy Jaillet from the FANHS group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
I've contacted the client through email every day for various matters. At the meeting, Larry (PM) and I were present. From FANHS, Alicia was present, the president of FANHS was present, as well as a few other members of FANHS.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Mostly training. The PM talked for the first hour or so, mostly about how to update their Google calendar and manage their account. Then I talked for a little over an hour and showed them how to make updates to the site, how to use FTP software, etc.

Client/Team Interactions:
Everything went smoothly and pleasantly. The FANHS people have been a pleasure to work with.

Anna Narbutovskih from the Sonoma County Folk Society group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The team met with the client several times during the semester discussing the content and logistics og developing the site and the complexities of maintaining the site on their own. Additionally there was considerable email contact between the client and the PM and DES in which ideas and content flowed quite freely.

Meeting Accomplishments -
The meetings nailed down the final form and format of the site, determining what pages would be on the site and what content and images would be placed on each page. At eash meeting new ideas were floated and acted upon.

Client/Team Interactions:
Our client/ team interaction was superb. The client was very enthusiastic about the site from the beginning and very generous with content, images and media.

Problems or Concerns:
No, none.

Rose Carlson from the uasa group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
we havent met recently but all our meetings went smooth and eveyone from the team showed to evey meeting

Meeting Accomplishments -
the last meting was web proposal and it wentgreat, got it signed off and moved forward which had been hard to do previuos to meeting

Client/Team Interactions:
well, but i think the client was a little hard to deal with but very real life. plus i relize how much the general public is uneducated to web design, especially design.

Problems or Concerns:
no, i feel good with the client. the onlt thing is that i dont get responses as i would like from them as we draw close to the end i dont have time to wait for thier resposes.

Grant Brott from the Womens Global Leadership Initiative group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The project manager did the last meeting.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Met with the new client rep and reviewed their concerns and ours

Client/Team Interactions:
I did not attend the meeting but have interacted through email with the new client rep and it has gone very well, wish she was assigned from the beginning so we would of worked with one person the entire time.

Problems or Concerns:
The swapping of people working with us through the project was a hassle, we worked with a total of 4 different people over the course of the project and I think the lead to most of the issues we had with time lines and gaining materials.

Client Meetings:
We have not met with the recently. Are last meeting was when we met for the web proposal. We are planning to meet with the client for training soon.

Meeting Accomplishments -

Client/Team Interactions:
We all get along like "old friends"!

Problems or Concerns:

Gloria Batemon from the American Philharmonic - Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The last time I met with the client was about a month ago. We met at Starbucks and we all went over the website pages and signed them. Krisha, Stephen, Mark, Jerry and I were present for the bid signing. There was another meeting held last week by Stephan, Mark and Krisha to go live. They met at Stephan's house and from what I have heard, all went smooth.

Meeting Accomplishments -
At the Starbucks meeting, new content was handed over, the pages where actually given to Krisha a few days prior so she could go over them. We asked questions and got answers from her and visa versa. We all signed the web pages to approve of them. All went well.

Client/Team Interactions:
We e-mailed each other or met in person. Krisha was a very helpful client who went out of her way to make things easier for everyone. I couldn't have asked for a better client.

Problems or Concerns:
None whatsoever.

Bradley Mark from the Partners for Sustainable Pollination group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met twice with the client, once in the beginning and a month or two later when we were looking for content. The whole team was present. The very last meeting with the client hasn't taken place yet that I know of. There will be some training to provide later though.

Meeting Accomplishments -
At first we laid out the plan and due dates. Second meeting we tried to establish the content, and were not too successful.

Client/Team Interactions:
The client is a very nice person, just too busy during this time of year. Also this is a fledgling group that is still trying to stand on its legs so there is more to do that worry about a web site.

Problems or Concerns:
The client knows some web design so should be able to continue to develop the content for the site.

Mark Foote from the American Philharmonic group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met on May 2nd, Krisha and Stephen and I. That was my last contact with the client on the project.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Site went live, thanks to Stephen. Stephen and I helped Krisha download the correct version of Dreamweaver to her laptop, and Stephen made sure she had the files and was set up to upload revisions to the site.

Client/Team Interactions:
We had fun, everything went smoothly, thanks to Stephen's preparations.

Problems or Concerns:
no.

Doane Atwood from the Women's Global Leadership Initiative group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
The most recent meeting was me (the PM), the client, and the person she designated to take over the client side of the project because she was leaving the country. We have also exchanged several emails, both before and after the final meeting.

Meeting Accomplishments -
I reviewed the site as it stood at that point with the client. She was concerned about some things that were not then present (due to integration issues with the testing site and some things that had to be implemented on the production server), and some things that needed additional revisions before the site can go live. I discussed the status of the project and the remaining schedule with the client and her new representative.

Client/Team Interactions:
Overall well: I actually wish that the new client representative had been part of the project much earlier on, as she seems to be very level headed, and would probably have been very helpful in separating out wish list / future development items from things that needed to be done to get the site launched.

Problems or Concerns:
Just that the person we have been working with is now out of the country, and that the organization is still in very early stages of growth -- in some ways this might have been a better client to work with next year, after the programs were more fully developed. Either that or some of the material that they included should have been left out and a simpler site, with just the basics should have been launched at this point.

Client Meetings:
We haven't had any recent meetings with our client. I sent the testing questions and everything through e-mail. I took over primarily communicating with our client after our PM left, so I have also spoke to our client over the phone 4 or 5 times since then.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We got our test results back from the client via e-mail. they have some changes they would like to make.

Client/Team Interactions:
great, communication has been very good

Problems or Concerns:
no

Rebecca F from the Sonoma County Folk Society group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
We met with our client for our initial f2f to discuss the needs, wants and expectations of the client. We met again for the client to choose a design and again to cover content. All of the rest of the communication was done via email which was effective albeit a bit frustrating at times to keep the content coming in. There was minimal phone contact with the exception of one call with their newsletter designer who had some simple questions for me regarding how to do some things in InDesign and creating PDFs from his InDesign work.

Meeting Accomplishments -
The f2f meetings are extremely valuable to really get a true understanding of the clients wishes as well as a feel for their own personalities and styles.

Client/Team Interactions:
To my knowledge the client and team interacted very well. I personally enjoyed all the guys from SoCoFoSo they are an interesting bunch of folk musicians.

Problems or Concerns:
My only concern is that they can easily update their site to keep the information current. Their old site required little to no upkeep but their new site has several areas that they will need to edit. These were all requested specifically by the client so I will have faith that they will be inspired by the new site to keep it up.

Client Meetings:
We met twice with the client face to face. Both were pretty useless since she was totally unprepared both times and was unable to make any decisions. The rest of my contact with her has been via e-mail and phone to get answers to specific questions.

Meeting Accomplishments -
Nothing was accomplished during our meetings.

Client/Team Interactions:
We interacted just fine although I think we were all frustrated by her lack of organization and inability to make decisions. (And by the fact that she totally didn't listen when we talked to her)

Problems or Concerns:
Yes, we are wondering how the client is going to generate enough content for the site we developed for her to go online. She wanted 25 pages but we have virtually no content for any of those pages so they will be adding almost all content by themselves and I think will also have to change the navigation.

Barbara Vallauri from the Saturday Afternoon Club group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Client Final report

Client Meetings:
My final contact with the client was via email. The client has reviewed the site and has suggestions for further minor refinements. I've personally met with the client three times in person, with additional contact by email to obtain supplemental content and input.

Meeting Accomplishments -
We've agreed as a team to make the refinements the client has requested, although many of them will be accomplished after the end of the semester as they include some changes to content and another page to be added that was not discussed during the course of the project.

Client/Team Interactions:
I think we've interacted very well, given that the client is relatively new to the internet and we had to spend time explaining some things that to us are basic concepts (URLs, screen resolution, etc.). My impression is that they're happy with what they've seen us accomplish.

Problems or Concerns:
My only concern is their above-mentioned lack of sophistication with respect to the web. It's possible that our team will have more contact with the client in the future when they want to make changes, and that's OK with us.
