The client had a lot of suggestions on what they would like changed once the site was done. I told them I was happy to try and work on a few smaller things that would not take a long time. I also told them I would be happy to work on the rest of their requests on a separate contract after the class was completed.
They are interested in the idea, and have already sent me a follow up email to request my rates and how much time it would take.
They did conclude our meeting on complimenting how great their new site looked and how happy they are with our hard work and the results!

Comments about testing
I was surprised by the amount of positive comments regarding the site.
Also, because I'm doing the PM, IMD & Designer roles, that included the:
Client Testing Form
User Testing Form
Equipment Testing Form
This took quite a bit of time.

Double Punches is a non-profit that works with troubled youth through providing a program to develop skills and discipline.
We had only one actual tester, Maria Lopez (our client), but she said that she showed it all around and some of her comments were based on things she heard.
There were some minor changes we already made to the site based on feedback. Overall the feedback was very positive.

I would have liked if the client felt the testing was more important.....but as I noted, she has been very involved all along and we've all looked at the site too often and for too long to have much perspective left!

The testing results are favorable. A few testers were turned off by being asked to donate. Most responders had a clear idea of what the site was about, and what services the client offers. All testers liked the ease of navigation except for one tester, and found the site interesting. The color scheme was liked by all testers except for one.
Simple changes will be made, but I am waiting for feedback from my team on some of the more complex changes such as the gallery changes.

6. What do you would like to change?
Summarize the test results
Q-1. People were surprise by the clouds, by they agree it looks good. Others seen it as a trick to get their attention. The colors were praised, their tones and amounts work well.
Q-2. The menus are easy to navigate. Many commented on the JQuery menu (Directory) saying it was cool and unexpected. The footer menu was a good utility to have, so are the previous and next links on the "directory" pages.
Q-3. The majority answer yes; however couple of people commented on how there are pages with a lot of content and other almost empty and some redundant content too.
Everybody likes the forms, because their are clean and easy to complete.
Q-4. Yes, it is clear; please donate. (very important for the client)
Q-5. Business connections and the happy aptitude of the people on the home page.
Q-6. The site does not have many images, although the design is colorful and attractive it does need more visual aids.
Describe the changes you plan to implement based on the Client Testing.

Comments about testing
The assignment was a bit frustrating because the client was confused about the nature of her own site. She seemed to want a busier, flashier look like a newspaper, but thought the more modern, subdued look we offered to be more like a magazine. Then, she would admit almost in the same sentence that La Voz was more like a magazine than a newspaper. Also, after agreeing to a design and a look, she seemed to want to make basic changes to the design even though she claimed she thought it looked good.

Initially it was the client who gave us problems. They complained that the site didn't look professional, stating it was disjointed. We were devastated at first. Then we thought, "hang on, we've tested it across 5 browsers and come up clean. What's wrong with them?"
We discovered they were using an older iexpore browser and were able to clear that up, and meet with them and use a later version for a clean review.

I used the questions used by the content developer, added some additional questions specific to PRC and sent the survey to our client with a deadline. The client responded the next day and told me when I would have his response and he met his target date and my deadline.
I added my response to his survey results and created the above linked web page. There was only one typo, a couple of missing apostrophes and a comment about the header. All of these issues have been addressed and sent to the content developer/project manager for final resolution.

Well we have been struggling to meet deadlines since our CD/Programmer left us about 3 weeks ago. I just tested the site with the client on Saturday 5/7/11 and got great feed back as well as suggestions for how to improve the site. At this point I'm just hoping we can deliver the site to the clients liking and in time.

I thought it was very helpful to get feedback from the client in this formal manner. It was another opportunity for them to go through the site and verify everything was to their satisfaction. They found one error which we will correct.
I like this process of getting feedback and it would be nice to have a design feedback process earlier in the class (perhaps just among the designers.)

Here is the site that was tested:
http://www.go-imedia.com/nami/
This was both fun and enlightening. However, the process of sending out emails to all the groups and getting timely responces back was a bit clumsy. It might be more efficient for there to be one page that listed all the urls along with the teams that were required to test. Then having a web form built by each PM to send the results back to the responsible party. As it is now, half the groups seemed confused as who they were to test and who was supposed to test them. That resulted in many emails to the entire class that were not needed.
