What is the overall tone and feel of the site?
Do you think the message of what the site is about is clear?
What did you think about the second-level pages?
Do you think this site will communicate effectively to your users? – ie. Volunteers, donors, etc.
Did you find the site easy to navigate? Were you ever “lost” in the site?
Are all of the links working?
Is all of the information correct?
What did you like best about the site?
Did you feel anything was left out that should be present?
Do you feel the design (color, layout, tone, feel) is appropriate for the material?
Any comments, questions, or a basic summary of your experience with our team?

The assignment was a bit frustrating because the client was confused about the nature of her own site. She seemed to want a busier, flashier look like a newspaper, but thought the more modern, subdued look we offered to be more like a magazine. Then, she would admit almost in the same sentence that La Voz was more like a magazine than a newspaper. Also, after agreeing to a design and a look, she seemed to want to make basic changes to the design even though she claimed she thought it looked good.

Initially it was the client who gave us problems. They complained that the site didn't look professional, stating it was disjointed. We were devastated at first. Then we thought, "hang on, we've tested it across 5 browsers and come up clean. What's wrong with them?"
We discovered they were using an older iexpore browser and were able to clear that up, and meet with them and use a later version for a clean review.

I am happy with the results. The issues are really simple to fix and. The client really like the web page. The objectives and characteristics that Face to Face were looking for were achieved.

I can see how important client testing is, they have an opportunity to request changes and it helps you catch errors & perfect everything. It's also very nice to hear positive feedback.

I used the questions used by the content developer, added some additional questions specific to PRC and sent the survey to our client with a deadline. The client responded the next day and told me when I would have his response and he met his target date and my deadline.
I added my response to his survey results and created the above linked web page. There was only one typo, a couple of missing apostrophes and a comment about the header. All of these issues have been addressed and sent to the content developer/project manager for final resolution.

Well we have been struggling to meet deadlines since our CD/Programmer left us about 3 weeks ago. I just tested the site with the client on Saturday 5/7/11 and got great feed back as well as suggestions for how to improve the site. At this point I'm just hoping we can deliver the site to the clients liking and in time.

I thought it was very helpful to get feedback from the client in this formal manner. It was another opportunity for them to go through the site and verify everything was to their satisfaction. They found one error which we will correct.
I like this process of getting feedback and it would be nice to have a design feedback process earlier in the class (perhaps just among the designers.)

Here is the site that was tested:

This was both fun and enlightening. However, the process of sending out emails to all the groups and getting timely responces back was a bit clumsy. It might be more efficient for there to be one page that listed all the urls along with the teams that were required to test. Then having a web form built by each PM to send the results back to the responsible party. As it is now, half the groups seemed confused as who they were to test and who was supposed to test them. That resulted in many emails to the entire class that were not needed.
