Project Status -
We got most of the content material from our client at our first meeting with the client. We have a clear understanding from our client what they want to see on the site. I have the check list printed out and will be checking in on my team routinly to see the progress of the site.

Project Status -
My client made it very clear what she wants me to do with the content. Before going full tilt boogie on editing the video, I will prepare a small example of the material that will include a full-screen graphic, a lower-third, transitions between images and some music. I am not clear on what I should prepare for the web proposal. I will discuss that with Linda.

Team Communication:
Communication seems to be working well. We are mostly using email at this point. I did meet w/ the client yesterday to go over content specifics and some design ideas. We probably email each other at least every other day...some times a few times/day.

Project Status -
The content is being worked on as we speak. We have not received any yet. Web proposal: I have printed out the checklist and expect several items to be checked off by next week. I have completed the storyboard and gone over it w/ the client and she seems happy w/ it. As one of the CDs I will be taking care of the Content Status Chart and the List of Deliverables. As the other CD, Andrew will take care of the Production Standards and the Shell Site. As the designer I am currently working on the mockup of the home page and a second level page for the client to look at. Still waiting for access to SSU server.

We are communicating via email and skype. I have not had much communication with the team but I believe that is due to the fact that the PM had some difficulty getting the client to commit to our meeting and obtaining the content information.

Team Communication:
This week the team as a whole hasn't been communicating like I had hoped. I did bring it up with the team and I gotten positive responses from both Steve and Yoshi, although I am not sure about Alex. The response that I had gotten from him was a bit negative. Our primary source of communication has been email, but I have talked to both Yoshi and Steve on the phone. I need to hear more from Alex. I addressed the 24hr stipulation in the communication plan and that is all that needs to change. I need to hear a response from each team mate 24 hrs from the time they receive an email, and I do the same in return.

Project Status -
The team was to receive 50% of the content on Tuesday and Kate emailed me today stating that she was ill so it would be late, but she did say that she will be spending the day tomorrow on it to get it done. I will be working on the web proposal this next week. i would have to say that I am not completely sure what I am supposed to be doing for the web proposal...YET! I have been working on the team project site. I will be doing my research this next week.

Again I am not sure what is going on with Alex, but I think that I might see if I can't work it out with him in the next few days. The information is starting to come in now, so I think that the ball should start rolling for me.

The communication is alright, but it doesn't seem like everyone is responding in a timely matter. PM sent an email to some of the group that the meeting will be this Thursday, which is a difficult day to meet. I responded but I haven't seen any responses back from the rest of the team and I don't want to the leave the contact hanging because we were the one's that asked for the meeting.

Project Status -
Content received yesterday. Haven't seen a web proposal. I have been work on the design of the site and was able to put it on my virtual server, but I am having trouble with including ssi files. Will backtrack today and just start with simple html for now then add bells and whistles after I get the basic layout up

So far the communication system is working great. Our team has wonderful communication we email almost everyday. If I write an email to my group they are great at responding within 24 hours, if not sooner.

Project Status -
So far we have received great response from our client. I should be going into the YMCA to pick up the 1st 50% of the content on Wednesday. The web proposal is coming along. I understand what I am doing with the content and once we have it I think I will feel even more confident. I do understand what I am supposed to do with it regarding the preparation of the web proposal.

I think our team communicates really well. We communicate primarily through Skype and Email. We are in communication with each other several times a week.

Project Status -
Yes I believe that our team is receiving everything that they need. We are currently working on getting each of our parts for the web proposal. Yes I understand my role in facilitating the process in getting the content information. I also understand my role in preparing the web proposal.

Our group interacts well. So far we have not had any problems and if there is an issue we have all agreed to talk it out. Yes I am getting everything I need to do my part on our team.

Team Communication:
Email is the main form of communication amongst the team. The team corresponds at least 3 times per week, most often there is some kind of daily emailing that goes out to every team member, sometimes in strings. Team resources are used: SRJC class resources, Google calendar, and the project site. F2F meetings with the client have taken place. Members are communicating about job allocation, clarifying issues, and distributing information derived from client contact. As the PM, I have not received any notifications of members being out of contact. All members have been interactive.

Project Status -
The team initially received a reported 100% of content. However, as the site has been developed that percentage has been diminishing. More and more revision of the content has been necessary to achieve the desired tone. The client has been willing to provide this revised content, but is still in the process of completing the changes. I believe the client is motivated to perform the revisions, and understands that providing the textual content is solely her responsibility. We have found the deadlines around the 50% content due to be a bit confusing. We hope the other deadlines are straightforward. Each team member is working on their components for the web proposal. Pieces are posted. Things change. Pieces are re-posted. Team members give input. The client gives input. Corrections are implemented. It’s hard to say just how it’s going because so many things are in a state of flux for us. But each team member is doing their part. I can honestly say; the challenges for this team are not the challenges we expected.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting well. However, I believe there would be a benefit to coming together as a team for a group discussion. I have the feeling that especially during this crunch time, it will be easy to feel the weight of isolation, fear for the progress of the project, and lose sight of our own individual responsibilities to the greater whole. Also, I believed that the team was rolling along fine – busy but okay. But, now I’m not sure that was really true. I sense that it feels somewhat overwhelming to the team to have a content deadline that can only be met by the client. It is a reminder of how absolutes can become mercurial.

We have been frequently emailing each other with updates on our progress. We also have our meeting every Monday at 2:30PM through Skype. I feel that our communication system is working for our team.

Project Status -
I have a meeting with the client this Friday to get the required content. We are all working on our different jobs to get ready for the Web proposal. We have a bit of a snag with the client losing access to her email for almost a week and the access to the clients website detained. We are making progress though. I understand fully what I need to do with the content. I understand what I am supposed to do in order to be ready for the Web proposal.

We are interacting very well, communicating easily. I am getting the information I need to do my job. When I have questions I can ask my teammates and they are very helpful.

We were told that we would be getting half of the content tomorrow. The Web Proposal seems to be coming along great. Everything seems to come together from everyone when its needed. I didnt understand a few things about my programming sampler but I just asked my team and they let me know what they wanted.

We communicate mostly by email, also by shared folders on Wiggio, Dropbox and Slickproject,and Skype. Emails occur almost every day, shared files in the cloud, Skype ad hoc as needed. This mode is satisfactory at present. All team members are willing to communicate as needed.

Project Status -
Needed content is present. We have the 50% content in hand, and we have approval for the site map. The Proposal consists of only the development site and shell site at present. I know what to do with the content. At present, I am integrating it into the shell site. I have a good(but not perfect!) understanding of my actions for the web proposal.

Team Communication:
The communications tools the team has set up and been using are the following: 1)Email: This is the primary form of communication the team has agree to use; I have been sending 5 or 6 messages each week. 2)Face-to-face and Skype: Both of these forms communication the team has agreed to use interchangeably. The team has setup a weekly meeting for 2:00 PM every Thursday, if needed. We have the option of using either Skype and/or face-to-face. I have also used skype to talk to team members on an as needed basis. The communication seems to be working well so far; it has helped us to keep in touch.

Project Status -
I believe until today the team had not received the required web content from the client; however, the content developers had a meeting today and from what I have heard the situation is much better if not all fixed. The client now is on the same page as the team and every one seems much happier. I have started on the Strategic Brief for my roll as the Project Manager. I have not started on either the Technical Brief or the Work Flow Plan for my rolls as the Project Manager or Programmer, respectively. I am waiting for a reply from the current web design company before I begin work on the Technical Brief and I have scheduled a meeting to begin working on the Work Flow Plan with the team. I believe I should be helping the content developers coordinate meetings to help the client understand their roll in developing the content. In addition, after the meeting Content Developers we had with you last week we all spent 2 hours going over the content we received so far from the client; we were able to match up 15 pages with the flowchart. I believe, as the Project Manager I should be developing the Strategic Brief and the Work Flow Plan; as the Programmer I should be developing the Technical Brief, be thinking about and developing sample forms for the web site and exploring how the existing forms will fit in to the new design of the web site.

The communication among the team members is working for me. We have been sending a lot of emails. Our designer had a face to face meeting with the client(s) and gave us all a recap of the outcome. We have also had a few phone conversations.

Project Status -
We have received a very rough copy of the text from the client. The site-map has been completed (today) and signed off on. We have received some images, but it seems many of them may end up being merely place holders. I have yet to pass along all of the content to the content developer as it is just come in. The content is mostly already available with the client current site. We are getting additional image and video information. Web Proposal? Not sure where to start other than I would put together a proposal of what the site it going to be consisting of including fonts, color, video, image, and navigation. Is there an area to look for an example? Developing pages of the site and settling on what content will go where. We met face to face, via email, some cell calls and via Skype. We communicated everyday, or every other day. We are doing well.

Project Status -
It is my understanding that several team members have had direct communication with Missy, PM included, me included. Karrie gave me the material I needed, I decoded the DVD's and have editable clips, currently in Adobe Premiere. I have emailed Missy and I am expecting to have an appointment soon because as she wrote, I need to be present in order for her to show me the changes on the DVD, since it all goes on the website. Skip emailed us the proposed ECC site, Ron had received feedback from Missy, and Karrie met with the client on Monday. Karrie also sent the team the web page site. We are trudging along.

Frequently and well. Yes, so far my job is to meet with Missy and we are in the process of setting an appointment, hopefully while SRJC is close. All is well!

Team Communication:
The emails have been flying all about this week. I have lost track of how many were sent and responded to. We have been setting up another meeting with our client and it requires many emails to set a time convenient for all (or at least most). Phone messages have not been productive, but text messages to cell phones have been used to some members with positive results. There have been a few glitches. But for the most part information is moving. The key is for the members to keep a regular check on emails.

Project Status -
As of right now we have only the current website content to work with. One of the purposes of our meeting next week is to go over the content we will be using and which of it is necessary to get started with the main site structure. The Web proposal has not been formalized as yet.

Team Interactions:
We have had little interaction other than emails and our Facebook group postings. I believe Andrea has got what she needs to start the conversion of the existing site to the Joomla management system. She was going to set up passwords for the other team members to begin to work on content.

Yes, the team communication is working well for me. We are communicating via Skype, in person, and by email. Everyone is involved in the communication and everyone is putting in effort.

Project Status -
I believe everyone is receiving what he or she needs. The group is very open to what is needed. I have seen that if there are questions my group members ask them and getting an answer is not a problem. I think my team members and the client are responsive and I do not think there will be delays. I believe the web proposal is coming along well. I understand what I am supposed to be doing and I understand what I am to provide the Project Manager with.

I think the group is interacting well. So far we have not had any serious issues. We get along well and seem to be on the same page. I have received everything I need at this time but unfortunately my part is small for now.

Project Status -
We are still receiving content. The website has been heavily revised to a much less intimidating sized project, and the client is working very hard at getting us everything we need. Due to this revision, however, I have decided to start from scratch on the Content Status Chart, as much of what is currently on it is now irrelevant.

Yes it is working. The designer was able to set a content meeting with the client and through emails we have decided who was attending and who was not. Communication has been great with the team.

Project Status -
To my knowledge we have not yet received the content CD but tonight when I see Rich in class I will talk to him about when its coming. The web proposal is coming great. I do understand what I am doing with the content. I do understand what I am supposed to do with it regarding the preparation of the web proposal.

I understand what I need to do for the web proposal and have the storyboard done and the initial approval from the client. Our client is having some problems with her email and the first information we received in order to add Wordpress to her server wasn't working. We hope to have these issues resolved in the next couple of days so we can begin to build the navigation and structure of the site (the first round anyway) Our content person is meeting with the client this week to get additional content that is not on the current website.

The one thing about the comm. plan that bugs me is our schedule conflicts. It is very hard to get the whole group together. I really hope we start meeting regularly once a week.

Our team continues to be active, though this week somewhat less. We generally communicate through our Basecamp site, though some of us email independently as necessary. I am located in MN so in order to participate in in-person meetings with Linda or the client, our team uses Skype to pull me in. One of the team members brings her laptop (generously) and we hook up fairly easily. Communication is working very well.

Project Status -
We have received a good deal of content from our client. We are lucky to have a tech savvy and very together client. My two main roles for the Web Proposal are to deliver a Multimedia Comps which is a mock up (static) of what the finished multimedia elements will look like and a Creative Brief an accompanying document that serves as the written explanation and justification for the multimedia elements I will create. It will detail why I chose a specific interface, colors, the goals of various elements, image selection, etc. I imagine I will be able to serve an important role in reviewing this document, as well.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting well. We are all helping each other out and filling in the blanks. It really feels like we as a team want to deliver the best possible product (rather than each of us working only to complete our specific roles).

Team Communication:
The system is working very well. Team members are working well in small groups to accomplish tasks that have some overlap using telephone and email. Cindy and Shannon met face-to-face with the client and then discussed between the two of them the next steps to be accomplished. They issue updates to the group using our yahoo groups forum. Kiki and Susan have also ben diligent at updating the team with their progress and uploading their work. Noah continues to provide updates via email as well as cc'ing me (as PM) when he and the client email each other. This week there were over two dozen emails sent through the group, covering everything from notifying the group that a file or link had been uploaded to asking for input on the template options and flow chart. People are excellent at replying in a timely manner and staying on point. The team is also sensitive to not overloading others with their communication, so there is a good balance struck between email that is all-team oriented and that which is conducted "off list".

Project Status -
As most of the content already exists on the web, I believe we have most of the written content available to the CDs. Cindy and Shannon have received some of the photos needed and have another meeting scheduled this week with the client to discuss YouTube access. The team has been meeting weekly, sans our programmer Gene. The team has been e-mailing almost daily and I have spoken to Gene on the phone several times. Communications seem to be going well, though I think it is a challenge for all of us to keep up with the volume.

Project Status -
Yes, the team is receiving the required content. Jeanene, our content developer, reports that we have at least 50% of the content. I understand the web proposal requirements. The contact page is complete and we have prepared a draft of the storyboard, comps and production standards. The appropriate members of the team are in the midst of preparing the following components: strategic brief, workflow plan, creative brief, deliverables, contract. Gene is reviewing all materials to determine programming requirements, which are a little unclear yet. We have proposed using Webvanta to our client and we are all trying to come up to speed on the impact of going in that direction.

Content has been provided via ftp to their current site. The challenge will be to import it into the new site's framework (Drupal). This will be a challenge, but I do believe it will be possible. Once the final technical details are resolved, my portions of the web proposal will proceed smoothly.

The team should receive content this week, and then i think we will start working on the web proposal. I feel the team is waiting to get content to see what we are really working with. Also because of some internal issues on the clients side, we are just kind of waiting for them to get the ball rolling.

Is the team receiving the required content? The client sent us a link to 45 pictures stored on Flickr. I will be talking with Arthur about selecting about 15 of these for the website and seeing if we can get them in a batch instead of downloading from Flickr one at a time. Also Arthur was going to send the recycle material price list but I haven't received yet. How is the Web Proposal coming? Do you understand what you are supposed to be doing with the content. Mostly yes. There are some areas that clarification. The PM (me) will be contacting Arthur about the remaining content and determine placement and usage of pictures and other content as well. Our PM has been sending frequent emails and is responsive to the team and client which is great. I'm concerned about the whole CMS learning curve including choosing the most appropriate CMS and hope to feel more comfortable with that after the lesson.

The communication system works for me so far. In reading the proposal requirements for a CD I can see that there is a lot of information that I do not have for this report and not sure how to get it. Multimedia, images, where the code will be written, etc. These seem to be Designer questions.

So far The only content I am aware of is the content on the existing web site. We take the content from the pages. Client to do the editing. I understand that Kiki did 2 of the reports (deliverables and content status) which I understand. I am to do the Shell Site, which I understand, and I am to do the Production Standards, which I don't have the information to complete.

I think the group is interacting well. As mentioned before, I don't have the information required to do the Production Standards Report. We are using a CMS which I know will impact this. I am completely in the dark at this point regarding CMS other than the template is pretty.

Yes, it is working well. We are using Yahoo Group, which automatically sends all team messages to my regular email, so we are in close contact.

Project Status -
Most of the content is already on the existing site, so it is more a matter of reorganizing and editing. We have now finally figured out who does what on the content but everyone on the team communicates well and sincerely works to help each other (with the aid of a great PM), so it has not been a problem. Susan and I know which four sections of the web proposal that we are supposed to complete and have put up the basic shell site, deliverables, and content status doc for team review. Still a little sketchy on determining the deadlines and a few other things, but figure that will work out as we go along and understand more.

Team Interactions:
As noted above, getting on beautifully as far as I know. Susan and I are becoming good friends. A great group of dedicated, hard-working people and an excellent choice for PM. Everyone seems right on top of getting the information out to the rest of us.

The communication with our team has been good. Some of the team members have been stretched a bit thin with other work and classes, so there has not been a tremendous amount of communication this week, however we have a scheduled Skype meeting Monday, so we are hoping to get back onto the same page with our build. Our Forum has been a good place to keep everyone apprised of what uis happening. I have taken our PM's advices and installed yahoo chat. I am yet to communicate through it with other team members besides our PM Sue, but I would like to see us all on chat by the end of our next Skype Meeting. I think it's a good tool if there is a quick question or concern.

Project Status -
During our initial meeting with the client, I/we communicated our desire to receive all additional content not on their current website asap. Sue was scheduled to meet with the client on Friday and pass on whatever additional content she received during that meeting. I have set up a file-share service through mediafire.com which allows large file sizes (up to 200mb) to be hosted and transfered to whomoever has access to the shared folder. This will be a good failsafe if the client was not able to meet our needs and get us the much needd content. The client will be able to upload their content to the server and we will all have access to it immediately.

Team Interactions:
We are interacting pretty well. Like I said earlier, there hasn't been a ton of communication this week due to busy schedules but each team member is moving along in the background, completing and working through the taskes they are responsible for. We have recently set up a test server to hold our team build of the greenacre website. We will all have access to the Joomla website which will eventually migrate into the completed greenacre project.

We have all the content and then some! I understand how I am delineating between content to keep and content to abandon. I understand how I am going to put the exiting content to keep into new web pages on the shell site as skeletons, and update the content status chart. When that process is completed, there will be a transition to actual template files. I'm also writing a technical brief detailing the programming areas that are to be addressed, such as search bar, calendar, and other script applications such as hot spot link updating capabilities, and web server php and mysql configurations.

We are communicating very well. I'm getting most of what I need to complete my job. The REFB ISP is a one person ISP, and so I am in contact with that person.

The communication system is working, thank God! No real communication problems exist at this time. Our team is tight knit, very cohesive. The client knows that they now need to communicate to us the content (existing HTML files list) to be used in the new site, and what content will be left out (existing HTML files to be dropped, or merged into current HTML files), based upon the current web site's 124 visible HTML files. I have requested a list of files to drop, files to merge to what files list from the client to assist the delineation of the new site "content pool". Once we have this content so delineated, we will create new HTML files (vastly reduced in number, hopefully to from 30-40 total pages), re-inserting and otherwise massaging the delineated required content (from the exiting HTML pages with preserved and client-specified content) into the new shell site "placeholder" skeleton pages. Our content status chart (http://student.santarosa.edu/~densley/refbContentStatusChart) is a dynamic web-page, with links to each new shell site page, and indications of percentage complete and due dates for every sheet. An update button allows team members to update the chart (with a protective login). Currently it lists the original 112 pages (124 minus 12 calendar sheets), but it will be totally revised soon. The production standards are straightforward, and will be available soon.

Project Status -
In our case we had a premature content overload, all the website files plus around 820 new images from which to choose. The website is inherited from a person who would regularly simply break a link to "fix" the web pages. Thus we end up with very many "orphaned" HTML pages and content. The client indicates they only require the non-orphaned content, and we have now requested a "tree trimming" on their part. We await the file deletion/merge list, which will key us in on the "keeper" content and the content that is to be abandoned. I understand the process to get to the final web pages, with mostly existing content, and how we will build the shell site, and put the shell site content from the skeleton templates into the actual designer templates with the full-blown CSS, images, and scripts. I will be getting links to the PM for the component of the web proposal for my part as CD and Programmer for the site.

We had a second meeting with the client and achieved our goals. We defined the beginnings of the project in detail and took assignments to work on for the next couple of weeks. The details include the home page layout and basic style, navigation layouts, design standards (from the national AIA) and much of the content. We will be working on fitting old content into the new layout, defining the header design, and researching the web hosting arrangement (probably Google). We had a phone conference with the national AIA web leaders. They are encouraged by our work and see the possibility of ours being a template for other local sites.

Project Status -
We have mapped the existing site and pulled most of the content. We also have copied links for reuse. The CD has been defining a new, more concise web site that includes most, but not all the existing site. I have crafted a definition of the decisiions and standards in place for the project. As we define the complete layout, we will be able to define the limits of new pages.

Team Interactions:
We find that emails are the most used and functional messages. We have a message board, but don't use it. We investigated BaseCamp, but find emails just as efficient. The client has been open and fulfills requests and questions. She arranged the phone conference with the national AIA web leaders when she went to DC earlier. They suggested Google and the tools they have available.

The communication plan that we have implemented is working fine for me. We are using Skype, email and face to face meetings. Project Status -
We recently just had our first face to face meeting with the client regarding the design of the site, and have only just begun talking about the web proposal. We have planned a meeting to discuss the web proposal but as of now I am not too certain of our progress or my role in the proposal. As for content, we have received pictures from the client but no site content.

The group is interacting well. We all seem to get along and communicate openly and with respect. I think I am getting the information I need to do my job. The project manager sends me updates as to what I need to be doing and the instructor keeps me informed of deadlines that are approaching.

Our team has a strong system of communication. We exchange several e-mails weekly, feel free to call each other whenever necessary, and have a weekly standing one hour virtual meeting every Thursday evening, with an agenda that is distributed before the meeting.

Project Status -
We are receiving the content in good time, although the client failed to follow our request to divide the content into individual Word documents that match each page on the storyboard. We are in the process of deciding whether or not to ask her to go back and re-do the way she submitted the content. The web proposal is progressing according to the timeline. We do understand what to do with the content, and have reviewed the directions, and examples with regard to the preparation of the proposal several times.

Team Interactions:
Our team, although we've lost our Content Developer, is interacting very well. We trust each other to fulfill our roles, as well as splitting the role of the missing CD.

We have over 3 emails exchanged among the team per week. We've had a Skype meeting to go over the site architecture and use acrobat to share documents. The communication system is working and everyone is responsive.

So far we are working with the content on their existing web site. We are planning a video and photo shoot to get more visuals later this week. The client would like to have less text. I have been working on the project site and understand the components I need to work on for the web proposal. I don't yet understand how to put an excel document (for the work flow/Gantt chart) into the html though. I'll look at the examples to try to figure it out.

It was suggested that I use Google web sites for businesses as a host because the AIA wants to hopefully use this for all of their component sites. Our team meets weekly using Skype, including the client for the beginning of the calls. These calls are working and we have gotten lots accomplished during these meetings. We also get several emails during the week from Monte, the PM, that we are required to respond to with our progress.

Project Status -
The team has probably over 95% of the content now. We will be adding a few pieces that may require additional content along with them, such as with the videos and the timeline. The client also has some pdf's that they want to add to the site to be used for their new search feature, and we will be adding a page for those. We are working on the storyboard and that is giving us a better idea of what we have and the flow of the pages. This is a really big site. I am overwhelmed with trying to make the content status chart.

I think the group is interacting just fine, which is mostly during our Skype calls. I keep in touch with Monte and keep him updated on my progress. I am waiting to hear from Peter who is making the templates for the pages.

I am very much aware of what I am supposed to be doing with regard to the content since our content developer is no longer with our group.

All's great with the communication. I had a personal issue where i was away from the computer for a few days..my team was VERY supportive and continued plugging away without me. Project Status -

If anything, communications are going much smoother now that we've hit our stride and know what needs to be said and to who. Plenty of back-and-forth between the members of the team, though there have been a few hangups lately with getting emails back from the client.

Project Status -
We've received lots of images, but not a whole lot of instruction on which our client wants them to be used. Considering the previous RainTree site was lacking a lot of content, it's important that we get more textual content as well. The shell site cannot be finalized until the client approves the storyboard and, as mentioned above, is a bit slow on replying. The Web Proposal is coming along, and I understand what is going to be asked of me. I have been working on production standards, though the list of deliverables is a bit on the stagnant side.

Team Interactions:
As mentioned above, the group itself is interacting quite well, and we're quite focused on what we need to get done -- it's just a matter of having the client approve of certain actions in a timely manner so we can actually act on our plans.

Project Status -
The Strategic Brief has been drafted and available for comment by the Development Team. Web Proposal content has been assigned to Team Members. Since there are two Content Developers, they will jointly complete the Deliverables section, with one taking the Standards and the other developing the Technical Brief. Most of the content for this project will source from the existing website. We will be building the majority of the pages via transfers of data. Our content developers are looking at software to provide additional features for the site, including Content Management Systems (WebVanta) and search ability which will allow users to view more content in their search result.

Team Interactions:
I am satisfied with the interaction between the team members. I hope they are feeling that their questions and concerns are being answered. I hope we continue to work together smoothly. The next two weeks will be critical for defining the project's scope and success.

We have stepped up the communication to a point where it is working. We communicate primarily through emails and a weekly meeting on skype. I would like to hear from our CD a little more seeing that we are approaching the proposal stage and the turning over of the templates in the next few weeks. But over all the communication plan is working.

Project Status -
We have already received probably 80% of the content from the client. We do need more photos and a couple of forms and/or charts. I do have a couple of questions about the content and the my part of the web proposal. I know, as the designer, I am responsible for the comps, the storyboard and the creative brief. Not sure who does the shell site. And am assuming all the elements for the proposal is due 3-5 days before the due date of 3/8.

Team Interactions:
I beleive at this point I am getting everything I need to do my part of the job. The group is interacting much better now than from day one.

Project Status -
We have 99% percent of the content(few pages we need to add). Its taking us some time to complete the story board. It turning out to be a little more complex(adding things to administration page), and there is quite a bit of content. After we 'stick a fork' into the storyboard, and review with the customer, we will be better able to complete our Briefs, and Ellen can complete the Deliverables, Standards and Content info for the proposal. Group interaction is improving. Again, we had a less then satisfactory start, but we have made great improvements with communication and interaction. I know what I am suppose to be doing, I am currently working on some mock ups or concepts for the client and recently e-mailed her asking her what she thinks of the design, and color schemes that I have provided for her. In the coming weeks I am a little confused to if I am suppose to be turning the mock up into CSS/HTML and if so, then the shell sites aspect confuses me. Is the content developer creating the shell site and then I start putting in the CSS/HTML and pictures, or am I suppose to turn the mock up into a template and the content developer will then go in and add content.

We had our first client meeting. We will be using existing content from the client's website. Supplemental content will be provided to Christy. We got a lot of input for the Web Proposal from the client meeting. Christy has put together a flow map/storyboard and will be getting team member input to clarify pages. We will work together to clearly define our scope so we can do a quality job and make a meaningful impact on improving their website. One area to determine is what if any of the pages that require programming can be included in the proposal since we don't have a dedicated programmer. We'll have to decide if the programming pages are high enough priority to see if we can get help from a programmer on another team.

So far the communication seems to be working fine. At this stage of the process the different team members are pretty much working on their own sections of the project, while we wait for the client to send more content. I'm slightly behind on this week's email -- mainly due to a power outage during the storm that prevented me from getting things done for other classes.

We have started receiving the content, and so far the client is keeping up with the deadlines for providing it, although they are not breaking any speed records. They have not yet provided the images they have told us they have: I'm not certain why that is, unless it's a matter of deciding which ones they want to use (it sounded like they had quite a few to sort through). I will be contacting them again tomorrow and will continue to press them for both additional content (we have about 30-40% at the moment). We are making some progress on the Web Proposal - I will be posting the strategic brief and workflow shortly, and reminding the team of what is needed from each of them as well.

There are several things I will need from each team member, and I know they are working on them. Project Status -
We have received some content. I am a little concerned because so far the flowchart the client provided us with indicates at least 26 pages, that is not including the fact that they want a Spanish version as well. I asked the client for a flow chart because their original site was so chaotic. I am working on the designs and fine tuning the flow chart.

WE are emailing fast and furious, so I think it is going well. We have a meeting with the client tomorrow, so I think some questions will be answered there.

Team Communication:
We email on the average 3 times a week so far. This is working fine. We have had at least 3 face to face meetings. This is all working fine & we may be able to coordinate electronically for some time.

Project Status -
So far we have just received no more content than we received the first meeting. Web Proposal is in the works. No, the content is not separated into page location yet. Examples for preparing a Web Proposal are on class web site so that should give us all the direction we need for now to complete.

Team Communication:
The communication is working well, although quieter the last few days. Client has updated content and responds quickly. I try to send updates every few days, sometimes several times a day if more information is required. I copy the team on client emails, and the client copies the team too.

Project Status -
Team has received about 30-35% of content, plus a couple Logo design samples. I sent a reminder to the client about the 2-23 date. The web proposal is being worked on. Randy (DES) is working on the design and standards. Antonio will need input from Randy for his part, plus we need the final content from the Client. I am pretty sure I understand what is required for the proposal and have put the list on the FANHS project site.

Team Interactions:
The team and the client agreed to communicate using email and that seems to be working well. Everyone works different shifts, but still respond to emails in a timely manner. I am pretty sure that we have what we need to do our job. The client promises to have the content on time.

Our team communicates primarily by e-mail which seems to work fine. We communicate at least once a week but more often when something needs to be discussed.

Project Status -
No, we haven't received any more content other than what we received on the first day. I'll write my creative brief after the client confirms the design I think she's chosen. She was presented with 3 choices--asked her for confirmation by the end of this week. I need to do the story board--I have done several but client finally gave some input last week. Need to hear from client before we have a storyboard set up. Looks like we will have several second level pages that will link to many more. Yes I do know what I need to do for the web proposal.

Team Communication:
The majority of our team contact is through email. They has been frequent and thorough. I can't think of any improvement which could be made here. Communication with the client has been sparse, though they agree to respond to our questions today.

Project Status -
We have been surprised by our client, and have not received any content since our first meeting with them. We expect more information today, and hope to have all the content by the deadline this Fri. We are waiting on content to complete the storyboard. The Web Proposal is developed as far as the content we have will permit. I have read the samples and reasons for both the Creative and Technical Briefs, and have rough drafts of both. I have read the site standards and watched the video, and have rough drafts of mock ups.

Team Interactions:
As a team, the development is working very well. Communication is frequent, and responses are quick. We need more responses to questions put to our client to proceed further.

The communication plan is working fine from my end of the team. Our weekly emailing seems to be just enough to keep everything moving.

Project Status -
The content is coming together from what I have seen it is trickling in. I as the designer am still waiting on the images they say they have however so that is a slight hold up on working the design. I have created the storyboard and actually made many edits to it as we work through it with the client so that part of the proposal is coming along fine.

I think we are working great and the information and communication on the team is good just the slow trickle of content from the client slowing things up.

Project Status -
I believe we have about 50% of content already, a CD with some content has been handed off by the client, and I'll get a copy next Monday at the team meeting. I am to be responsible for the production standards and the list of deliverables, so far, and Gloria has offered suggestions to help me on that. I believe we are waiting for our client to decide on which of Stephen's three design alternatives best suit their needs, as far as the overall progress of the web proposal at this time. Meanwhile I hope to start on basic webpages for the standards and deliverables this week.

Our group is proactive, which suits me fine. I find the class website a tad confusing, but I'm beginning to find my way around it now.

Team Communication:
The team continues to meet at SRJC face-to-face as well as email. We've had about 3 meetings there. The client has joined us on two occasions and is willing to participate in future meetings as well. The next meeting is 2/25.

Project Status -
The client has been very good at giving us what we need. A lot of the web content will not change. The client is interested in making its existing site more robust rather than changing the information in the site. The orchestra is still the same as is the board of directors. Names, addresses, and phone numbers also remains the same. I'm redoing the PM assignments for the Web proposal to make it more generic so the basic pages have the same look and for others to insert into the template. I have completed the team contact page, strategic brief, and am currently working on the communication plan which the team had discussed earlier. I will be beginning on the work flow chart once the revised storybook has been sent to the team.

We are still adjusting to the team's style and pace to put together a great web site for a very good client and board members.

We are meeting every other week and communicating via e-mails in between. Outside of a few misunderstandings, I am looking forward to working with this team. I feel we can make a great web site with all the talent the group has.

Project Status -
We just received a CD with all the content from the current site. We will be needing the updates to those pages as soon as they can get them, along with the pictures they would like to use in the website. At our last meeting Mark and I (the CD's) decided I would do the shell and he would do the deliverables. The Web Proposal (from what I understand) is the roles we will all be making as we go forward with the website.

Team Interactions:
To my knowledge we are working well. I just love the new look you and Stephen came up with for the opening page. I'm not quite sure where we are on the storyboard. I saw the original, but since we had 4 additional pages to add, that needed to change. I think we are a little behind, but I am probably jumping too fast. I'm eager to get my hands on that template so I can begin my work.

Project Status -
We received a lot of our content up front, but after the first meeting our client was busy planning a fundraiser, and said she wouldn't be available again until after her fundraiser on 2/6. We emailed her the week after the fundraiser, and she wrote back saying she was still busy with "post event details" and wouldn't start working on the site again until this Tuesday. We have given her a deadline of this Friday to give us the finished outline of the site, which should include the majority of the content as well. The web proposal is coming well. We have several pages of it completly finished, several others in progress, and a few others we need feedback from our client before we can go any further. I think I understand what I should be doing for the web proposal.

Team Interactions:
Our group is interacting very well. I just wish for a little more contact with the client, but between her event and being out of town most of last week, there hasn't been much. I'm hopefull we'll have everything we need by Friday.

Our team has had approximately three face to face meetings but we exchange email regularly to keep everyone informed about the current state of the project. We all take our roles seriously and want a positive outcome. I think we are working well and communicating well together.

So far most of our communications have been via email, as the three of us each live in different towns - Santa Rosa, Petaluma and Middletown. We've also met face to face a few times. This works great for me as it's hard for me to get over the hill very often.

Project Status -
Our client's been very cooperative in getting us content. We expect to have nearly everything we need as of our next meeting on Feb. 22nd. They're very receptive to our ideas and are eager to supply whatever we ask for.

Team Interactions:
I think we're interacting very well. As content developer I didn't have a lot to do up front other than offer ideas, but now that we have most of our content I'm rather busy. My teammates have been very supportive and helpful.
