Team Meetings:
Team communication has been primarily with either email or Skype. We also are using wiggio.com (something like Basecamp, but with more options for free) to store files, calendar events, and post group information.

Project Status -

The group is interacting well. Information is going to the person who needs it.

Team Meetings:
We have still not met face to face, but we are consistently communicating via Basecamp. We are all posting regularly, so things have been working out rather quickly.

Project Status -
We do have a contact page, and we are using it to hammer out our communication plan. Our process so far it good, but we have been plagued with scheduling conflicts.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting wonderfully. We have hit some bumps already, it is not for lack of communication.

Team Meetings:
So far we have primarily been communicating via email, and clicking "reply all" so we're all kept in the loop of things. We have also had a team meeting with Linda and have our first client meeting on Thursday. I prefer the face-to-face and the emailing over phone conversations cause everything is clearer...the Skyping is cool too.

Project Status -
I am quite satisfied with our communication plan so far, and the process used to establish it has been very smooth.

Team Interactions:
Yes I feel confident that I am gaining a solid understanding of what my role is. I will feel even more assured after our client meeting, because I will have a deeper understanding of what our client is looking for.

We have communicated face to face in two different meetings (the initial meeting and after the meeting with you tonight), emailed each other, and tested out Skype as a communication tool. The system is working well for me so far, I feel like the communication is very good between us.

Yes, yes, and yes. Scott has done a great job facilitating these tasks, as well.

We're interacting well. Communication is good and open, and nobody seems to be uncomfortable with sharing ideas or questions.

Team Meetings:
The most frequent communication that our group has used is email. I have only skyped once with two of my team members but not have so with my PM. Our PM is very good with emails and calls about everything.

Project Status -
Yes we have established a contact page through email. With in that email our communication plan was set. I'm very satisfied with our process since its been working.

Team Meetings:
We have mainly been communicating through email and it has been effective. Some limited interaction with Skype and going to expand upon that with Instructor meeting this week. Weekly and daily emails when needed, response with team members good. Meeting systems is working well.

Project Status -
No contact page established. We do have a firm communications plan that members have agreed to via email. Yes, confirmation of the communications plan confirms other buy in and understanding. Hope to establish a contact page this week, would like to get with the designer at meeting with Linda to get this part going.

Team Interactions:
Since we are an online group interacting is taken place on line mainly via email at this point. No conflicts and seems like we will get a better handle on everyones roles this week. Yes, I'm getting the necessary information to do my job. I have initiated the meeting process and communication method. Client has been contacting and is looking forward to meeting next week.

So far Lisa and I have met face to face. We have also had one phone call and I have texted Andrew a few times. We also are communicating quite regularly via email, at least a few times a day. So far so good, but I think in the future it will be nice to meet face to face once in awhile.

Team Meetings:
Meeting in person seems like it will be difficult at times since (as a group) we have a limited time frame when all of us will be available. We will need to make sure that we set appointments early just in case anything needs to be rescheduled so that it's not so last minute. However, we have great communication using Basecamp. Everyone has been checking it multiple times a day and everyone has been providing their suggestions for the communication plan.

Yes, our group has established a contact page and a communication plan. I am very satisfied with how we went about establishing them.

Our group is interacting great. As a team, we all get involved in our team discussions and check our Basecamp page frequently.

So far it has been great. I think once we have our meeting face-to-face and with the client, it will run smoothly, since we've been getting to know each other at a distance, and it'll be nice to have some face to face contact.

Team Meetings:
We've been using email and weekly face to face meetings. There have been some issues raised regarding the email and having to scroll through the various topics throughout the communication. We are going to try a different approach and separate the different topics using: FOH-CS 50.31/32-Topic-Date. We'll try this and see how it works. This is the second week and we're still a bit disorganized and I trust that we will work out the kinks.

Project Status -
Yes, we have a contact page that I sent out to everyone in a Word format document so they could format it to suite their needs The communication plan we completed last week and we may need to do some revisions as we go along here.

Team Interactions:
It's a process and we're in the fumbling around stages right now. It's too early to tell. I may be coming off too strong, for I'm wanting to get organized and moving, so I'm practicing "patience". Am I getting the information I need to do my job at this time, no. But I'm working around it. I've set up a storage folder for us to be able to have the space we need for our files, assets - whatever, and we'll chip away until the project is completed.

Team Meetings:
We are very good at communicating through email several times per week, sometimes it can be daily or even several times per day. We have a Skype meeting once per week on Mondays at 2:30PM. I feel that we are all communicating very well. Most of the time emails are answered within hours, and definitely by the 24 hour time frame we established in our communication plan. Our Skype meeting works for everyone on the team and is vital to our success as a team. It helps to see who you are working with frequently, weekly works great!

Project Status -
Our PM has established a contact page, which is looking great. We will have a center place to see what is going on and track our progress. We have established a communication plan that we all agree upon and are happy with the results. I am very satisfied with the process used to complete these 2 tasks. We all contributed to the content that was incorporated into both the contact page and the communication plan. We discussed both thoroughly and feel comfortable with the path we have set.

Team Interactions:
We are interacting well together. I was a bit confused in the first few days on what tasks were mine and not mine. One positive thing we really have a good grasp of is communication. I even was able to chat with Caroline this morning through gmail about the rest of the meeting yesterday on Skype. Our meeting starts at 2:30pm, but I have to leave to pick up my children at school by 3:15, so Caroline and Grant continued after I left. It is nice to have team members who are proficient at communicating so that we can be successful.

The form reset again. This is my second attempt to complete this form: We've been doing pretty well with skype, I believe. We've met 3 times and haven't had any major challenges. I will need to remember to plug in my laptop prior to the meeting if the batter is getting low. It made everything go haywire for a few minutes in one meeting.

Project Status -
We have a communication page. I think there are still some things we could clarify for our communication plan. Hopefully this will happen at our meeting with Linda tomorrow. I have asked that our skype information also be included on the communication page, for the client and for "just in case.

Team Interactions:
We seem to have two "eager beavers" and one "laid back" member of the team. We will see how the different styles mesh and work together so we don't interfere with each others jobs and also have our own comfort level met. I have the information I need so far.

So far our group has had great communication. We have sent over 40 emails back and forth to each other and met as a group last Friday to discuss our communication plan and our 1st client meeting

So far our communication has been great we are interacting well and responses have been detailed, courteous, and friendly. I think we are off to a great start!

The meeting system is not yet working. At last report, the PM is still looking for a way to have conference calls, since this feature of Skype was found to be more expensive than previously thought.

Team Meetings:
I held a meeting with two of the three members of the team, the designer and one of the Content Developers. It seems to me that it is going to have to remain this way. I cannot get all three of the teammates to agree on a time. This continues to be my biggest challenge. I believe that the meeting we had on Skype was successful. As long as I have at least one of the content developers in the meeting, and the two CD's are in constant contact with each other so the one can represent the two, I believe that future meetings will be successful as well. We have agreed to meet once a week (Mondays) to discuss the past weeks accomplishments and the next weeks challenges.

Project Status -
we have established a contact page (Facebook page), and a communication plan that everyone has agreed upon. I was happy with the process because I think that everyone else was happy with it.

Team Interactions:
The communication between myself and every teammate has been friendly and productive. My only gripe is the difficulties I continue to have getting the team together all at once.

Team Meetings:
I have communicated with team members via email and our basecamp site. Unfortunately, due to the bad timing of my move to Minnesota I was unable to make the in-person or skype meeting last week. I am hoping to meet team members in the very near future - likely this week during our meeting with Linda. I hope we will establish a regular time to meet weekly or biweekly as I think that will help us all meet deadlines and grow cohesively.

Project Status -
We do have a contact page, thank you Stephanie/PM. We also are communicating fairly effectively on our Basecamp site. Our communication plan is lacking in a few key areas. So, far only two of us have commented our PM's original message regarding the communication plan. I hope we will be able to wrap that up before class tomorrow.

Team Interactions:
I'm not sure I can answer this question yet. The designer and I have been corresponding and this is good. We seem to have reviewed and evaluated a good number of sites for our design plan. I'm not entirely sure what the design plan is supposed to look like, so hopefully we will gain more clarity during our meeting with Linda.

Team Meetings:
The meeting system for me is going pretty well so far. I've communicated with a couple of my team members through Skype and Email.

Project Status -
I'm pretty satisfied with it so far. I have a contact page made in excel which the phone numbers and other contact information of my team members. The communication plan is in a email which is pretty straight forward, simple yet effective.

Team Interactions:
The group is mostly interacting through email right now. We sometimes interact through Skype. I will be meeting again with the team face to face on Tuesday during class. We also have the meeting with the client after class.

Team Meetings:
Our team has had excellent communication so far. We have used email, Skype, and are beginning to use Basecamp to manage our strategy up to this point. The meeting system is working well for me. We have also exchanged cell phone numbers just in case we need backup, which on one occasion has had to happened.

Project Status -
As the PM I am am creating the contact page currently and I am almost complete with putting it up. I have just a few last minute changes that I need to add. It will be up by our meeting on wednesday at the latest. We have also established a communication plan in that we have several means of successful communication and we have been doing it often. I have already completed the assignment pertaining to that. I am satisfied with everything.

Team Interactions:
I feel like the group is interacting well and communicating very effectively. We have Skyped several times already and covered a lot of ground. Our email communication is also very often and so far effective. So far I feel confident about the information that I am giving and receiving. Everything seems to be going well!

We have been emailing back and forth and we have had one in class meeting and one outside class meeting and we covered the agenda for speaking to the client about the webpage and the needed changes.

I am very satisfied with the process used to complete these 2 tasks

I feel that the group is positively moving forward and our PM is reminding us of assignments and communicating with us and the client very clearly. We have two appointments set up this week one with Linda to discus our rolls and one with the client to discus the project.

Team Meetings:
The team has communicated by text, phone conversations, and email. We have exchanged some job assignments, gotten to know each other a bit, contacted the client and are winnowing the meeting times for a 1st mtg. We've clarified, questioned, and inputed.

Project Status -
The project website is newly up, with the contact page. I am satisfied with the communication plan thus far. Our communication has been pretty frequent once everyone checked in. Really, not a day goes by without some note. Every team member has taken the time to answer direct questions, query for clarification, and provide spontaneous input. I believe the "forced" feel our new communication structure has will smooth out as our team becomes more comfortable with each other's style and develops trust. Also, as each member becomes confident in their role on the team I believe communication will be a natural consequence of being energized by the project.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting well. I believe the information is getting through. I believe as PM, if any misunderstandings arise about what is expected it is the result of my own imprecise requests, or because I failed to notify the team of a deadline. Our team is getting off to a great start! Once we found out who our team members were, we communicated via email. Everyone was participating. We had one team member that was moving back east, but even she found the time to introduce herself and let everyone know she'd be out of the loop for a couple of days. Next we met in person at our meeting. Now that we are set up with Basecamp, we are using it for our base. It's working out very nicely. We all agreed to use email, Skype and class meetings as our meeting preferences. We have not rule out meeting in person and we all agreed to meet in class every week. Last night four of us experimented with the Skype conference call feature, which worked quite well. During the meeting I mentioned and everyone agreed that should probably set up a regular weekly meeting so, everyone is currently coming up with a time they can meet, which will be discussed in next team meeting.

We use skype, email, and the occasional IM (gchat) at least two-three times per day, sometimes more. I think that at this point this system is working for me. We recently agreed to make a couple changes to how we will communicate: weekly conference calling and using a calendar/task sharing program. I think once these changes are implemented we will all communicate much more effectively.

Yes we have and yes I am pretty satisfied. I didn't have a lot to do with the contact page, it was just our PM putting up our information which looks good to me. Team Meetings:
So far, our team has been handling communications via email and IM. Our first team meeting was virtual, since our PM is so far away, and there were some minor technical difficulties with our Skype call when we first sat down together. On the one hand, this was annoying, because we were all ready and raring to get started on our project, but I think, on the other hand, that this was a good first experience for us as a team. It really helped to illuminate our patience with one another as we struggled to make the technology suit our needs. The program that we used instead of Skype is one that I am very familiar with, but I know that a couple members on the team felt that it was clunky. We're currently in the process of reviewing new ideas and software that might achieve what we need with less fuss.

Project Status -
Our PM setup a Google Site with a page dedicated to our primary and backup contact information. I imagine a printable format of this page will be created for when we meet with our client this Friday. Our communication plan was rather easy to draw together. Since we are all fans of email, it was the obvious choice for our primary form of communication. Furthermore, since we have all agreed on our comm plan, we know what is expected of us and how to react to new information when it arrives.

Our group interactions so far have been amazing. We're all very competent emailers (is that a word?) and as a result, we've had what would probably be several hours of conversation in text form! Since our PM, Caroline set up a Google Group, we can keep track of our email correspondence with ease and in one centralized location. Caroline is very organized and on top of things. She's managed to outline quite clearly what we're all to be doing and has set us all reasonable deadlines and due dates for things. She's integrated a Google calendar for our project into our team site, and has made sure that we all know where to find the things we need within the team site. I can honestly say, I have never had this much fun in a class before. Granted, we're all still fresh and vibrant since the work has barely begun, but I think that with our amazing core of personalities, we'll be able to keep that upbeat mental attitude well throughout the entire semester. I really like my teammates, and I've got the impression that the feeling is mutual. It's obvious that we're all really excited and dedicated to this project, and that we're going to have a lot of fun while we get the job done! ^_^

Outside of a face to face with two of the team members and a couple of skype calls with the third, we have primarily been communicating through email. We are all getting used to the communication plan and hopefully all the qlitches will be ironed out soon. There have been a few more emails required on the PM's side in order to get some answers and imput requests stated in emails sent to the team. I think the best way to eliminate some of the email would be to make sure all questions or requests are addressed at the time the email is received. Also having a few problems getting first meeting time and date commitment from the client.

The team contact page was distributed to all team members on Monday the 24th and the communication plan was established and approved by the team on the Friday the 28th. I'm satisfied by the process.

We have just been emailing to this point. We had a good meeting at the first class session and will do a meeting on Wednesday prior to meeting the client on Thursday. It is early enough in the process that we are still working as separate entities but as things progress, the overlap in our jobs will necessitate our meeting more frequently.

Yes to the contact page. After our first class meeting, I complied the contact info and emailed it out to everyone. I have since created our shell site with the contact info (http://student.santarosa.edu/~sfogarty/contact.html). It will never win any awards for design, but it does work. We discussed our communications at the first class meeting and it seemed straight-forward to me. I wrote up the plan and sent it out to the team members. It seems the process worked well.

I think the group is working extremely well together. We communicate both group-wide and individually. There are team members who like to write a lot and those who prefer to stick to just the facts, ma'am. Both methods work. I have asked a lot of my group already and they have all delivered. I have a great deal of confidence in everyone's ability to do their job professionally, thoughtfully and on time.

Team Meetings:
Our first meeting was a little shakey, but that was too be expected. Skype had trouble managing the voices of all five of us, so we switched to a program called Ventrilo, which a couple of us have used in the past. The meeting was slow and lacked elements of a real conversation, so we're working on finding a system that works. We seem to be planning on staying on Vent for the moment.

Project Status -
My group is thoroughly able to communicate clearly and effectively through text. They are all good writers. We completed the last two tasks with ease through our combination of speech and text, but text is what really pulled us through.

Team Interactions:
Everybody is clear and concise. I have been given a very specific to-do list that I am completing as I speak.

Team Meetings:
Kevin and I met in the classroom on team night and spent an hour talking, establishing schedules, contact information and availability. We reviewed the communication form and the client packet as well. This week we communicated by email and as of this moment have exchanged 15 of these. Items of a more urgent nature or schedule considerations have also been emailed to me at work as requested. I can more easily check my work schedule and reply to such matters. This system seems to be working fine.

Project Status -
Kevin has submitted our communication plan. He is working on setting up a joint Google calendar and the project site, which will contain our contact page. With only two of us on the team, it was easy to exchange phone numbers and email addresses at our first meeting. We have had no breaks in communication, so I would say the plan is working well.

Team Interactions:
Kevin and I are interacting fine and are completing our assignments. He has had several contacts with our client and copies me when they are by email. I find that if I need something or have a question, he responds according to our agreement. I have tried to keep him notified as to when he can receive items from me, like additional client questions.

I could not meet for the initial team meeting as the lab was not set up for skype. Since then I have had email communication from all team members on the ice breaker activities, an introductory phone call and regular email exchange from our PM, and 3 long phone calls and multiple emails back and forth with the fellow CD. It is working out great! I will meet all team members at the client meeting.

Project Status -
Yes, very much so, although the number of emails required between all of us to do the ice breakers has led us into looking into getting a Google group page for consolidation and ease of communicating as a group.

Team Interactions:
So far, doing great. We CDs have not had a reason to interact with the Programmer or Designer much yet, but everyone seems responsive and on top of what they need to do. Our PM is doing a fantastic job.

The system that we chose is working very well. We receive information and answer of each other in less of 24 hrs. E-mail is our principal tool. However, we also communicated by phone a couple times. Project Status -
We have contact information of each other: number, email, skype's name. The communication plan is working well, This was established last Monday . I am very satisfied with the process used to complete these 2 tasks.

We collaborate with each other and the communication is great. At this moment, we are sharing questions about Face to face and concerns about our client package, the PM take notes about this and sent us a detailed resume about our meeting. Our team has emailed back and forth since the first class. We have set up a plan to email one day and get an answer the next day but we do a lot of same day emailing. We have used the phone only a few times so far. The meeting system is working for us. We had our first official team meeting on Jan. 28th at 9 am. Several things were covered like the ice breaker activity, review of the client web page using Jenny's computer. We also discussed items the client is interested in like a gallery, some flash ideas, design, links and many other topics. Our first meeting with the client is Wed. Feb. 2nd at 10.30am. We think that will be very successful.

Project Status -
There is not an online contact page but we have given each other their Name, email address, skype name and phone numbers. We established a communication plan several days ago and it seems to be working well.

In these early stages our team is working well together. We all realize the importance of communicating and we all know that we have a lot of work ahead of us. As a content developer several days ago I sent an email to the client talking about gathering content for the site. I will be collecting content at our Feb. 2nd meeting. I have kept track of my time and will mention this to the other team members in-case they haven't been doing so.

We are doing 90% email. We have not had a good face to face meeting yet. That is fine, it was well understood that the team will be meeting virtually. There is a meeting scheduled this Friday for us to have a sit down with the client. The PM will be Skyping in to the meeting. We are working on getting a better teleconferencing plan together.

Project Status -
Our PM is on it. She put together a centralized Google webpage for our project. We will be using this site for exchanging data, ideas and logging most of the communication. I am very satisfied.

Team Interactions:
The group is starting to establish a nice groove. I feel like we are growing as a team. The ice breakers were fun. We have only met virtually, but that is just fine. I don't know if I speak for the rest of the team, but I feel pretty strong about these guys. I'm not sure the rest of the class could possibly have as cool of a team as i do. The PM is very organized and way ahead of the deadlines. It sounds like everyone is very strong at their specialty. I really hope I am able to keep up! The information I need for my job is spread throughout the class website. I am still trying to get familiarized. Where I have been lacking, our PM has helped me reel in what is expected of us for the week.

Yes, we met on Skype once this week, and that worked out pretty well. We were able to Skype with all three of us. The only difference between Skype with a group and Skype with just two, is that with more than two no video is available. However that wasn't a problem for us at this point. We've also done some communication through email (we've emailed each other a few times this week), and a bit on our group forums as well.

Project Status -
We have discussed our communication plan some, and emailed each other some of our answers to the questions you asked us on that communication plan form. We don't exactly have a contact page up just yet, though I believe it's in the works. But we have emailed each other contact information all ready.

So far, we have effectively used email and chat. Our attempt at a meeting was not as successful, in my opinion. We tried to skype with all 5 of us at the same time. Garbled and unintelligible, even without video. Then we tried to use Ventrilo. This worked better. We were able to speak and hear each other, and there was a written chat as well. I didn't like it very much because you have to hold a key down to speak and then you can't hear if anyone can hear you. I'm thinking for meetings (which I have to attend online, since I'm in Southern CA) we can try join.me or, a service just found out about called samesurf.com (it's in beta. Let's see if I get an invite) I'm hoping to be able to use something (skype?) where I can hear, share the desktop, and hear. Maybe it will work if I'm the only one online. For most things, I'm fine working via email or chat, as long as everyone participates. If there isn't the participation, then scheduled meetings will have to happen.

Project Status -
We have a Google site with a contact page. The site links to a forum (Google group) so all emails are broadcast to the full team. At this point, I am satisfied with the process.

Our team is made up of me and two other great, organized ladies. I'm the Designer. Jackie is the PM and Jeanene is the CD. We met face-to-face on the first monday class, and Jackie has been the leader of some good email communication. We are in touch multiple times a day via email.

We are contemplating some kind of wiki/ftp site, but at the moment our small team is emailing well. Jackie is working on a project page when that is due.

Well. The biggest challenge is getting up to speed with where all the info is located on Linda's comprehensive site, and feeling confident in my own duties, let alone what the other team members need to do. I wish we had a week or two to get ourselves figured out before client meeting. This is probably just the first stages of confusion and overhelm-ness. I'm taking CSS and Dreamweaver, so just getting the weekly flow down is the primary challenge now.

Our team has utilized Skype for mostly all of our communication, with he exception of a few emails. We have also set up a private forum where we can collaborate with ideas and content and stay on the same page. So far, this method of communication has proven to be beneficial and works well for all of us. We have spoken twice on Skype, had multiple posts on our forum and swapped a few emails back and forth. Because of this, we have a pretty clear idea of how we are going to be moving forward with the website.

Project Status -
Our Project Manager has been working hard to create our Contact website/page. It will be online very soon. The communication plan has been drawn up and is being finalized. I am satisfied so far with the process.

I think we get along and collaborate very well. I very much respect the skills and attitudes of my teammates. I think we are going to continue to work very well together throughout the project.

I have had phone and email conversations so far with Sarah and Kiki. We have sent quite a few emails back and forth and we all seem to like the phone contact as well. This system is working well. When necessary we might introduce other means of communication. We have communicated several times every day so far.

Project Status -
Yes, Sarah has given us a list of everyone on the team's contact information. All who can will attend on Monday night and we will keep KiKi in the loop. The communication plan grows out of email and we will phone as necessary. All email concerning the entire team is forwarded on by Sarah. I am very satisfied with our ability to communicate. Everyone has been responsive and we have informed each other of times of non-availability.

Team Interactions:
I am so pleased with the way the group is interacting. It is such a great relief to me to have such wonderful people to work with. All of the information needed to do my job is at hand at this point. Kiki and I have been discussing exactly what it is that we need to do as Content Developers. It seems that we need to work on a basic structure of Categories and Subcategories or an outline, in order to organize the content. All of this will emanate from the Home Page. We need to find out what the client wants in terms of the NavBar Headings.

Our communication plan has had a rocky start. We have had one successful meeting and one unsuccessful meeting. We have been responsive to email. Our first client meeting was moderate at best. Overall, I'd give our communication a C grade with the improvement on the way.

To be perfectly honest. Our communication/meeting system does not seem to be working. The team has met twice. All three of us were involved in the first meeting...two face to face using skype to talk to the third. It seemed to be a good meeting. The second meeting started late and one member did not attend and did not communicate with the team that he would not be able to attend. I don't feel the team is moving forward.

I have personally met with our PM on one occasion in addition to our team meeting through ConnectNow. The balance of our communication occurs on a daily basis through both email and telephone. In regards to our CM, we have met through our team meeting via ConnectNow but the balance of our communication has occurred primarily through emails on a regular basis. The communication that our group is currently instituting meets my requirements.

Project Status -
We have not established a contact page, but all group members have exchanged emails with relevant contact information contained, in addition to availability. We have set up regular virtual meetings through ConnectNow on Thursdays at 6pm. So far everything has worked without a glich and as a result I am satisfied with our current communication system. Furthermore, I feel comfortable with my other group members that if the communication plan needed to be revised I could contact them directly to address the situation.

So far we've mainly been communicating by email. We are emailing each other on a daily basis and everyone has been responding quickly. So far we've The DES and I have met twice, once in class and once at the client meeting. We've met with the CD once, at the client meeting. So far it has been working well, but as things pick up and content starts coming in, I would like us to meet via chat once a week.

Yes, our PM set up a site for us. Our communication plan is to talk via Skype on Tuesdays and email each other. The PM also set us up with Basecamp. I think that we should be able to communicate well as the project progresses.

Our group has interacted via email many times, once with Skype and once in class. I received client questionnaire responses from PM on Thursday which I have been reading and using to plan my work. The client has created a storyboard, but has not sent it to us yet. I am very anxious to see it. I am thinking about design ideas, but at the same time awaiting more information from the client(storyboard). That will help everyone to determine the scope of this project. I am thinking about the environment also, since Drupal may be the content management sw we will use.

Most of our communication so far has been 'getting to know you'-type stuff and planning for our client meeting. We have been using email nearly every day, if not every day. The main problem I have with it is it gets mixed in my other mail and it's hard to filter everything accurately. I can deal with it on the fly, but when it comes to archiving, I'm not sure how I can really handle it all.

We will be using Skype for our meetings which will be held on Tuesday nights at 7 PM. We held our initial meeting last Tuesday, with all team members accessing Skype. We had several questions about the redesign, which were on hold until the meeting with the client on 1/28/10. Basecamp project managemant has been set up but no specific information has been added to project to date.

So far we are working well together - good interaction. There is some anxiousness about what the deliverables will be and if we can deliver a quality product. We have knowledgeable people on the project that all want to do a good job. The project is fairly broad in scope and part of the nervousness is whether we will be able to put in the time to complete the tasks.

Our team has used email, IM, and Skype (both as a group conference call and calling one another). Our team has agreed to have meetings on Friday mornings using Skype. I think we all agree that this is working well for our team and so far everyone has been available and participating. Our PM has kept us all informed and checks our progress. Last Monday's classroom session was attended my the DES and myself. Tonight, our team had it's first virtual meeting, via Connect Now and phone conference. We've set up a meeting system, using the above tools, for every Thursday at 6pm. So far it seems to be working, although we're still becoming comfortable with the technology.

Our primary means of communication thus far have been e-mail and Basecamp. For our first client meeting I was able to meet, in person, two other members of our team (our IMD participated by telephone.) Additionally, the three of us that were available participated in a skype voice conference after last week's lecture. E-mail has been used prodigiously and seems to be working well for us: between direct e-mails and basecamp updates, on one day last week I received 18 e-mails from my team!

Project Status -

Our communication plan (as required by the questions for the HW form) is complete; the team specific requirements will be finished by tomorrow afternoon at which time it will be posted on our project site and basecamp. I think both of these tasks were accomplished smoothly.

So far I think communication has been good. I think the policy recommended by Linda of the PM e-mailing the team three times per week and each team member giving weekly status updates will accomplish 90% of our team communication needs. The other 10% can be accomplished through topical e-mails.

Yes, the group seems to be interacting well, although it's still so early in the game and they are all chomping at the bit to begin. We have an enthusiastic client who is open to a complete site make-over which is extremely helpful for us as we can basically start from scratch using their logo and informational content.

We've had three face to face meetings, including the meeting in class last week and the meeting with the client. The group seems to be interacting pretty well. I need to try to get information out a little bit more quickly, but it is getting out. Feedback from the team has been pretty good so far, but things have been a little rocky with personnel changes on the team. Hopefully this will smooth out as we go.

Yes, i like our meeting system. All of us arrived early for metting face to face, and have had some communication thru email.

Project Status -
we do have a contact sheet, but our pm is still working on our project website. We have a good communication plan and I like that that we have to respond within 24 hours. I am happy with the plan and would like to continue it.

Team Interactions:
I feel we are still getting to know eachother, but are interacting well and as we work more togehter we will become more helpful to eachother. I have had not much work yet as a cd, but have had much support from teammates.

Team Meetings:
My team has met twice, once to introduce ourselves as members of the team (Jan. 26th), and once with the client (Jan. 28th). We have decided to communicate by email for day to day stuff, and by meeting face-to-face for anything in depth. Jerry will email the team I think at least once a week, and more as necessary. Everybody is checking emails daily (and once on weekends), including the client, except for dates the client has provided in advance. Everybody has committed to response within three days, I believe our client said in one day.

I appreciate the good attitude and mature demeanor of the individuals in my group- everybody is very supportive. At this point, we are waiting on the design and the content. *

We are communicating well via email. We had one group face to face meeting last week with all team members present. We've agreed that all emails will be sent to all team members thereby keeping everyone in the loop so we can all share in the site construction.

Yes. We met in person last week, just prior to class. We had received several emails back and forth prior to meeting to discuss best days for us to meet, where to meet and what time to meet. I don't see any improvements necessary. We have a great team.

Project Status -
Our PM is establishing the contact page and should be up soon. Our communication will be through e-mail first, then face to face when necessary. I think our plan will work just fine.

Team Interactions:
Our first item that needed addressing was getting the questions over to the client. Taking samples that you had posted, a list of questions were discussed and sent to our client. Stephen is quite knowledgeable with the Orchestras and that will be a huge asset when developing a design for the client. I am looking forward to working with Mark on the content development. I believe we are interacting quite nicely.

The meeting and communication plan is working out great for my team. We've been e-mailing back and forth every day. We had a team meeting last weekend to get ready for our client meeting. We met with our client yesterday which went great, and had a little five minute meeting after our client left to make sure everyone's on the same page.

Our team has met primarily through email, but has also had one face to face meeting before/during class last Monday. There have been serveral emails, so it would be hard to give an exact count. We also both met the client face to face last Thursday. So far the communication for our team seems to be working well!

We are currently meeting about once a week with lots of email communication. We have agreed to keep everybody in the loop when communicating within and with the client, until a further point when that is not necessary. At this rate, the meeting schedule is sufficient.

Project Status -
The contact page is established and we have agreed to email, then phone calls when necessary. This process has worked well so far.

We interact well. As PM, I usually get the ball rolling, and am relieved when my designer chimes in with important information. We are also listening well to our Content Designers who are also very helpful. There is good respect openness and concentration on our work.

Yes, the meeting system is working for my team and we been communicating via email. Our scheduling is working out just perfectly. We have had very good communication in the team. We started with email then went to face to face on January 26 by meeting in the lab "library" before class. The frequency of the email has been almost daily since we have setting up our initial team meeting as well as contacting the client. The meeting system we are using has been working for me.

Project Status -
As the PM is will my job to establish a contact page. That page will be coming soon. The communication plan within the team is email and face to face. The process has been satisfactory since this is only the second week.

Team Interactions:
The team has been responding to my emails in a timely matter regarding the initial team meeting which we had on Monday. We have gotten the information needed for the communication plan, contacted the client, and defined roles for the project. The client has also responded well and the team will be meeting with her on Wednesday. Karen, the lab assistant, has been very helpful in reserving the rooms that we requested.
