Team Production Meeting - Business Web Design / Web Content

Let's take a look at how things are going.

Imelda Estrada from the 4 Paws Learning and Wellness group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
The communication between CD's and designer has been great.

Project Status -
The pages were divided between our 2 cd's. One of them is done with all his pages, the other one is done with 50% of the pages. Great progress overall.

Team Interactions:
The group is communicating via e-mail and being responsible with their tasks.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 40

Daniel Baggett from the 4Paws group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
we have excellent communication in our group. Barbra and i communicate very well together and everything seems peachy

Project Status -
we have all the content and i will be hosting the site on my server. we are letting everyone know when the pages are done and the designer is commenting if there is anything to change

Team Interactions:
the group is interacting good and we are all getting the info we need

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 30

Austin Thom from the St. Vincent's group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
The developer and CDs communicate via email, but also during our bi-weekly skype meetings. The communication system seems to be working well overall, there has been some confusing over who is doing what, when someone has made changes, etc. but I think we are working the kinds out.

Project Status -
Chris the Developer created our template, which Beth the primary CD used with the shell site html to create the rough final pages, while I worked on specific pages that need programming work (pages with slideshows, the calendar, etc.). All of the client's content appears to be in (except for the 1 page that they have agreed to fill in themselves). There was some confusion over which version of certain things was the most up to date, but so far it hasn't been causing major problems

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting fairly well. I've been having a hard time this week (health issues), so I admit I haven't interacted as much as I should have, but overall I think everyone is getting the information they need.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: Not sure

Jenny Marin from the Face to Face group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
The communication is by e-mail and phone.Yes, I as designer sent e-mail

Project Status -
Yes, I as a designer sent e-mail to the team about the template progress.

Team Interactions:
Yes, everybody is helping in some way.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 40

Richard Bassett from the Face to Face group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Well, we are a little behind. There are no pages on the web yet. I believe we will have a meeting with Linda on April 7th to discuss the template which I recieved today. I also sent an email to Face to Face telling them that we are ready for some images we had discussed at an earlier meeting. We are still emailing and calling team members.

Project Status -
Dreamweaver and some Java script. We have the content except for the few images I mentioned above. We will start working on pages after our meeting with Linda.

Team Interactions:
Our group is very helpful with each other and we are trying to produce a great site for the client. We are a little late on getting the template approved.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 80 hours

David Rivezzo from the St. Vincent's Elementary group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
So far communication has been acceptable. There has been a few occasions where I have been worried about team members communicating enough with the rest of the team. But for the majority of the time communication has been made by team members.

Project Status -
We used the the site sketch to create the design as well as the shell site. Now that the design template has been handed off the designers are plugging in the content into the design template. Yes, all the content is in and we are busy creating the site and plugging in all the content at the present moment. Yes everybody is being informed.

Team Interactions:
My group is interacting pretty well. At times I don't hear from members as often as I like but we are communicating. Yes, as of now I am getting the information I need to get my job done.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 64

Cecilia Hernandez from the La Voz group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
So far so good

Project Status -
We have a scheduled appoitment for this week to hand off the templete. We have about 98% of the content, so we are going to have to drop a few pages that the client does not have time to create the content for.

Team Interactions:
We are working together great. Facebook is a great way to communicate

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: to many to count

Christopher Caplan from the Roller Derby group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
I believe the Designer and CD have been communicating frequently via email.

Project Status -
The site was made using dreamweaver. We have been receiving updates when things are completed.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting just fine.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 20

Micah Gemmell from the La Voz group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Communications is awesome between our group, we are beginning to wonder why this question is asked all the time. :) The facebook group has done wonders for us.

Project Status -
All the content is in, we just have to put it into the template and upload it to the server.

Team Interactions:
We are all interacting well and getting information in a timely manner from each other... the client on the other hand has been a bit behind on getting us content.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: I really have no idea... but 12 for the last section sounds about right.

Jeanene McCormack from the NAMI group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
All the team has been communicating and we all met face to face. We are communicating almost on a daily basis by email - sometimes several times per day. Yes, it is working.

Project Status -
We are all doing our part in the process of creating the site. Everyone is being informed when pages are completed. Most of the content is already in the template. One area of the web content is confusing and doesn't make sense, so I have asked for clarification from the client. Everyone has reviewed all the completed pages.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting great. We are all getting the information we need.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 80

Sarah Fogarty from the Habitat for Humanity group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
As PM, I have been cc'ed on most, if not all, communication between CDs and designers. I do not believe the designers were informed each time a page went up; so many pages went up at a time that it was more a matter of informing the designer that xyz pages were up, accompanied with queries as to specific concerns the CDs had. The communication was via email and seemed to work well for all concerned. There were multiple emails throughout the week.

Project Status -
All the content is in hand. Virtually all the content is on the site. The communication continues to be excellent. The process relied heavily on people being extremely diligent and responsive to the emails. Questions have been answered in a timely manner.

Team Interactions:
There is a lot of solid respect and appreciation for all the work everyone has done and continues to do. I am getting the information I need to do my job.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 44

Brandon Giovannoni from the 4Paws group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
We have been communicating through emails. And will inform the the designer as each page is ready to put on the Web to ok it first. The communication plan is working fine.

Project Status -
Our team is using Dreamweaver to create the site. All the content is in the shell site and is in the process of producing the pages. As of right now the pages haven't been completed but I assume we will be notified when they are.

Team Interactions:
Are team is interacting great, everyone seems to be responsive to questions and concerns.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 12

Zechariah Manning from the Greenacre Homes group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Communication has been ok. The spring break gave us a bit of a lull, but we are back on track and chugging along nicely.

Project Status -
We are using Joomla. We have selected a template from a third-party template provider. Our designer has made changes to the template according to our client's request. Content is currently in process of being inserted into the template. Our team will receive updates as progress moves along.

Team Interactions:
WE are interacting well. WE are all getting the information we need for our individual duties.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 40+

Miranda Limonczenko from the Birth Psychology group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
The communication system has been working well. Our email correspondence has been consistent, although not as active as in past weeks, and we have weekly meeting updates. Our client is good about keeping in touch.

Project Status -
At the moment, all of the content is *in* the site, but at this time we're speeding through the content and cleaning it up. Since we're dealing with over 500 articles, it's been taking a bit of time for the content developers.

Team Interactions:
My team is there for me and very clear with their expectations. I'm clear on what I need to do.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 30

Dia Jenkins from the Napa Valley Breastfeeding Coalition group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
The communication system is working. Primarily we communicate by email, with the occasional Skype meeting when needed

Project Status -
The content is all in and the template is being finalized.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting well and I get the information I need to do my job.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 50+

Olga Komar from the Napa Valley Breastfeeding Coalition group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
I am a DES. I sent the template handoff to our CD Talisha. Now she is in the process of building the other pages. I continue to work on "Home" page.

Project Status -
Everybody knows their job and does what they're suppose to do.

Team Interactions:
If someone has some questions, we send them to each other and we get replies pretty fast.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date:

Sue McGee from the Green Acre Homes group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
A few weeks ago, one of our team members got another job, so our weekly team meetings stopped. At first it wasn't too bad, but we soon realized that without that connection, our progress was left to speculation. Email just wasn't cutting it. We agreed to be more diligent with our group instant messaging.

Project Status -
Our team used Joomla to create the site. Our CD is in the process now of inputting the content into the template. He will let us know as he completes the pages.

Team Interactions:
After our team meetings stopped, I had a hard time staying connected with where we were. Since I am the PM for the team, this effected the information (status reports) that I am responsible for relaying. We had a group meeting Saturday on IM; I am back on track and updating our forum with the status reports.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: Guessing: 70 hrs?

Megan Bennett-Burks from the Greenacres group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
The communication system has been working for me. My group has been mostly communicating through email, but most of us have communicated through IM as well, and I've had a very small amount of phone communication with members of my group too.

Project Status -
We are using Joomla to create our site. The majority of our content is in. We're keeping in touch with each other as far as any of our progress with things go.

Team Interactions:
I think we are interacting fine. We're all getting the information we need to do our jobs. Sometimes we do discuss things with each other a bit to make sure we're all on the same page, and that helps as well.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date:

Barbara Evans from the 4Paws group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
We had a face to face meeting for the template handoff. We have been using email although less frequently. More email from the CDs letting us know how they are doing with the template would be helpful.

Project Status -
The team used a process where 1 CD has the shell site on his server account. He will put the completed pages on his server account and our other CD will send his pages over so we have one team site. All the content is in and signed off by the client. I have not heard of any pages completed yet. We have a target of getting half done by each CD within 2 weeks of the template handoff.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting well; it will be reassuring to hear how the CDs are doing and start getting some pages completed. I am still having trouble with an IE8 display oddity that I haven't been able to fix. I don't have the information to fix this.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 120

Donald Ensley from the REFB group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
The communication is ok.

Project Status -
All the content is not in the templated pages yet. I have hit a bug on the calendar application and do not know if we will be able to use mine, or will have to revert to a third part calendar application.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting ok. I am overwhelmed with the scope of the project, the number of pages I am having to edit into the templates, and on trying to fix a bug filled application.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 60

Donald Ensley from the REFB group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
There is nothing wrong with the communication system.

Project Status -
So far, I have been trying to paste content from the shell site files into the designer delivered template. I have not completed but 2 pages so far.

Team Interactions:
The groups is interacting ok.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 60

Damian Baker from the Face to Face group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
We have yet to start production because our template is not complete yet. Our clients requested last minute changes to the mock up which put us around a week behind and are now just finishing the template.

Project Status -
We have not started yet, but I am hoping that the cd's inform everyone as pages are complete so that the entire team can do some initial testing on the pages and catch bugs as they happen.

Team Interactions:
We are at a weird point of the class where the cd's are waiting for the template and have little to do. Therefore I am not in much contact with the cd's at this time since the majority of my time is being spent focusing on the designer and assisting her in finishing the template.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 62

Kevin Schirado from the Petaluma Recycling group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
We rely on email between our team and also the client. Email work well for us. Some email communication with the client has been delayed slightly (more than one day). This seems to have been due to needing to fill in for absent workers. This has not bee a big impact at this point.

Project Status -
Most content is in from the client. We still need a couple of paragraphs on the parent organization and approval of mission statement for PRC. I expect this early this week from the client (see comment above). Jane has submitted the template so I can get started on the site this week.

Team Interactions:
Everyone is working well. The client is happy with the project at this point.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 190

Emelina Minero from the La Voz group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
We haven't put any pages up on the web yet. We still need to schedule the template hand off. But our communication between Micah and I, the CDS, and Bill, the designer is great. The communication between the whole group is great. Everybody, whatever our role, lets everybody know what we're doing. We're constantly publishing our progress, or links, or asking for feedback in our FB group.

Project Status -
All the content is in. I'll be inserting the XHTML code into the templates by hand, and then I'll upload it directly to the sonic hosting.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting very well. We work well together, support each other, and communicate well with each other. We have a great group. The big slow down was getting the content from our client, and then we didn't get it all, so we cut back some pages and cut back some content.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: I need to add up my hours, I've been noting it by sections. Around 12 hours this last section.

James Anderson from the Resurrection Roller Girls group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
The communication system is a little better then last time I answered this question, but I'm still feeling that I have to work a little harder to get any updates from the team. We are behind in getting the template approved by the client and they are still making changes. I wasn't aware of this until today. I have asked for a weekly update from the team in the past and hopefully this will begin to happen soon. Outside of requesting to be cc'd on emails or informed about telephone discussions I don't see any other way to make it work.

Project Status -
I believe the designer is using Dreamweaver to create the templates and then making adjustments in the code manually. We haven't started posting pages. Because of client issues. We are a bit behind in the process.

Team Interactions:
I understand that the Designer and CD are in contact with each other and they are working with the client to get what we need to proceed. I contacted the client with a request for all their content that was outstanding and did receive the content this morning. We are still waiting on the photos of the skaters and refs. The Deadline for the photos is April 11. We will not accept anymore content after the 11th.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 60 hours

Dian Ross from the Roller Derby group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
I have had good contact with the CD for my team. We are sort of stalled on the template approval from the client, but already have a game plan for when that get's approved.

Project Status -
I used Dreamweaver to create the template, then cleaned up the html and css files for the CD. We will be sitting down to go over how to make changes to the template and the site and content gets put into the site. We also have a group meeting planned for the 11th to go over everything so far.

Team Interactions:
The group is working well and the client is responding to deadlines. We are doing our best with what we have so far, but soon the client will need to be told no more changes going forward.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 65

Mary Neal-Norton from the Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Yes, we have always had a good system of communication through our Yahoo Group site and through our excellent PM. All team members have kept in good communication, primarily with emails though some by phone.

Project Status -
Shannon, our designer, created a Wordpress template that she placed up on a site. She then gave us instructions on how to place the content on the site and Noah, our programmer, helped the CDs with how to connect certain links, etc. All of the content is now on the site and the designer is working with the rest of us through emails on any edits that might be needed. There has always been good communication on completing the pages.

Team Interactions:
The group has always interacted very well and professionally. Everyone has been on top of giving and requesting the info they needed.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 77+ hrs

Yoshinori Abe from the Face to Face group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Jenny sent e-mail to teams members, and she is behind in creating a template because of modification of mock-ups. I am just waiting for the final template. We communicated by e-mail.

Project Status -
So far, we finished all requirements we had to do.

Team Interactions:
I think everything goes well, but I just worry about putting contents on the template. It seems very complicated.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 1 hours

Susan Brennan from the Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
I have met with Designer and we are discussing issues by email. I am also making notes on pages with items that need attention. We are currently working on the live site so Designer is making design changes as we proceed. At this point no changes are needed.

Project Status -
We used a shell site and then have transferred everything to a WordPress site. There the pages can be viewed by the client as well as other team members. All of the content other than images and 3rd party form has been completed. Some tweaks are in progress.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting well. I am getting the information that I need. Designer is going over things now and I'm sure a few glitches will be resolved soon.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 70

Jacqueline Richmond from the NAMI Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
The designer and CD have an excellent working relationship and communicate frequently. There are almost daily e-mails and a weekly meeting in person. The communication system is working for me.

Project Status -
when pages are completed. All of the content has been received.

Team Interactions:
interacting very well. I have all the information I need to do my job.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 100+?

Imelda Guzman from the Redwood Empire Food Bank group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Don and I have been working close on the construction of each page. When there is an issue in regards to the layout or CSS our CD is good about contacting me and letting me know the problem so I can fix it. Our communication is done through lots of emails, and some phone calls.

Project Status -
Templates were made and given to the CD with template instructions. As the CD creates pages, he will contact the Designer or IMD with any questions or issues he may have during the construction of the pages. The Designer will be working closely with the CD to make sure the pages are the way they need to be.

Team Interactions:
Overall, good. There was some confusion about details right about the time the templates were to be handed off but our PM set up a team meeting to clear the air and get everyone back on track. As of right now I have all the information I need to get the job done.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 63 hours

Caroline Quintanilla from the Birth Psychology group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
The designer and CD's have primarily been communicating via email with some contact by phone. The entire team has our weekly meeting via Ventrilo with a follow up email. The designer and CD's have the plain content pages up and are working closely to get the pages with tables and forms finished.

Project Status -
The programmer set up the content management system (Drupal), the designer is doing the layout, format and design, the CDs are doing the content on the "presentation" (information) pages and tagging the massive number of articles that the programmer has uploaded from the current site. Almost all the content is on the new site, but it is still in the process of being tagged and referenced in the new format. Not everyone is being informed about every page, but we all know from our meeting what stage we're at.

Team Interactions:
We're interacting well and sharing information well.

Problems or Concerns:

Michael Wheeler from the CS Department Videos group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Communications are working currently

Project Status -
Interview Videos were assigned, individual first drafts have been made. Working together to develop process and assist each other as we go.

Team Interactions:
So far we are interacting well. Everyone is responsive and helps where they can

Problems or Concerns:

Jane Daniel from the Petaluma Recycling Center group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
I sent a link to my updated webpages on Thursday night to the CD. I haven't heard from the Content Developer this week, but it has only been 2 days since I delivered my CSS change and there is 2 days before class again. Email communication has worked for us thus far. I don't think we will have problems in this phase of the project.

Project Status -
We followed the class guidelines for creating the parts of this site. The client did not provide a lot of content up front except for pictures and links, so there wasn't much to work with when building the shell. I believe this will cause the CD to have to spend more time during the page development. I think 99% of the content is in. PRC may owe us a paragraph or two to flesh out a page.

Team Interactions:
Everyone has been very pleasant. I am just working on my pieces and forwarding to Kevin by the due dates. I am starting on the Home Page today after finishing this week's lesson and homework. I have sent my information on the bid to Kevin too.

Cynthia Maram from the Habitat For Humanity RESTORE group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
I have had both email and face to face interaction with the Designer and CDs. This has been very helpful. We met once recently in the lab and have emailed 2-4 per week. The communication system has been working well for me.

Project Status -
Shannon, the Designer, has been building the actual website that the client will be using. The CDs have been using the mock up or the site that is used before the Designer designs the actual site. We are all updated when the pages are being completed via email messages by the Designer and the CDs.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting very well and we have strong communication. Everyone is doing their part and I am getting the information I need in terms of the status of the multimedia assets to do my job. I am waiting to hear more from Sarah, the PM, as to when I should begin with production of the Flickr plugin. So, I am on hold momentarily, but confident this will be resolved with the client in the near future.

Debra Gardber from the La Voz group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Our team is communicating fine we are having problems communicating with client.

Project Status -
Basically we are working well as a team. We know where we are but the client does not know where she is .

Team Interactions:
Again our team is doing the best we can when working with a client.

Dennis Bolt from the NAMI Sonoma County group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Yes. I am the designer. The CD has been putting up pages and I have been viewing them and giving feedback. I still have a laundry list of little things to fix and continue on the homepage. I had stopped with homepage specific design to get the inside pages done for template handoff. We are having some layout quirks with IE and so we are trying to get those layout bugs ironed out.

Project Status -
HTML. I gave the CD a template and she is building from that. All team members are helping build different elements like forms and do some IE bug troubleshooting.

Team Interactions:
Fine.

Noah Freitas from the Birth Psychology group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
As a programmer I am not real involved in this interaction, but to the best of my knowledge this communication has been good. They have communicated during our weekly meetings.

Project Status -
Given that we're using Drupal, we worked on content and design simultaneously. Much of our content was imported from the client's old site and edited on the new site. We are well along in this process: all the most important content is imported and is currently being edited. We have also successfully set up the payment gateway and imported all the site's active users (200+) and preserved the expiration dates and membership roles for each user.

Team Interactions:
Group communication continues to be very good. We have a weekly online meeting every Wednesday morning.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: 50

William Batten from the La Voz group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
We are only now getting started with that process, but the CD's in our group inform me of everything they're doing via our group Facebook page and email

Project Status -
I created three different templates, one for the front page and two different ones for the secondary pages. I also created a PHP form page for subscriber and reader feedback and started two of the secondary pages based on the templates so that it would be easier for the CD's to get the information into them. I did this because we are late getting to the production process and I wanted to help the CD's get their part done on time.

Team Interactions:
The group continues to interact well. I'm getting all the information and feedback I need from the rest of the group.

Problems or Concerns:

hours spent to date: about 20 I think, but not sure.

Debb Womak from the Santa Rosa Junior College-Computer Studies group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Although there is an occasional phone call, 95% of the communication between the team members has been through e-mail.

Project Status -
All the team are using Premiere Pro and After Effects to create each video. All of the content is available although this project, unlike building a web site, require constant revisions.

Team Interactions:
This has been a very delicate group. Tom had to abandon the project at one point due to time constraints. Janis has her reservations about the ability to complete this project in addition to creating a slideshow, so she has required extra hand holding. Tom was able to rejoin the group. Scott was, is and has been a blessing and a grand contributor to the success of this project.

Debb Womack from the Santa Rosa Tool Library group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Because the roles of both designer and CD belong to Mark there is no communication issues involved. Although talented and an exceptional good worker, Mark's primary need is feedback on his work.

Project Status -
Because the single biggest issue for our client will be constantly updating photos, Webvanta has been chosen to build the site. I did finally manage to spend several hours exploring Webvanta and Mark's template pages. Afterwards, Mark and I spent about 30-45 minutes discussing an issues he had.

Team Interactions:
There is only Mark and myself and we get along great. Mark tries to pass everything by me as he completes each portion of his job. Although working on the video project is labor intensive, I try to find 2-5 hours each week to look at Mark's work, talk on the phone, and give him feedback. The phone has worked well for me because i can talk to him while a video renders.

Since I am both CD and designer, there are not a lot of problems communicating.

Project Status -
I did a mockup in photoshop and created a couple page templates in HTML/CSS. then we made a switch to using Webvanta, which requires using there website and converting our templates. We have all the content we need. There will probaly some content added by our client after the site is up.

Team Interactions:
More or less. It is challenging to get feedback as the site grows.

Ellen Horstman from the Sonoma Humane Society group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Peter and I communicated as we went along using Skype and emails. We made sure that we were pulling in the most recent files before starting to work and we let each other know when we made changes that would affect the other's work. I let the team know when the sections were completed so they could help check for any errors or had any suggestions.

Project Status -
Peter created the template for the pages and Monte created a header menu php to work from. I inserted the content into the template for each page and then cleaned up each page according to our set standards. We are using email to let each other know when we are complete with our work or a section.

Team Interactions:
We are interacting and communicating well. All information has been provided.

James (Jim) Anderson from the A Wildlife Exclusion Service group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
I think the communication needs to be a stepped up a bit. I'm finding alot of errors in some of the pages that were obvious when looked at on the server...and should of been questioned by the CD before posting the page for my review. It would of saved some time in the correction process.

Project Status -
We pretty much followed the process guidelines set by the instructor...The content was obtained by the CD and then passed on to the designer who in turn created templates for the pages. The CD is currently in the process of creating pages and sending them to the designer for approval or corrections. We do have all the content and I beleive everyone involved in the project are aware of when pages are completed or need to be completed

Team Interactions:
Interaction in the group is there but rather slow at times. I beleive we are getting the info from each other to complete our jobs.

Project Status -
I created the secondary page template and gave my team members the link to it and the css. We have most of it and tonight we spoke about who is going to do which pages. There are over 300 pages in this site. We agreed that we would inform each other when the pages are complete.

We've used the information and content received from the client over a series of meetings as a team and individually to create the elements of the site. All the content is in though I (IMD) still need to get some final feedback on one Slideshow from the Exhibitions & Collections Curator Eric Stanley for captions.

Matthew Lane from the The RainTree Initiative group from the Business of Web Design class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Well, email is becoming a bit tiresome as more and more actual files and coding start coming through. It's just becoming harder to organize and pull up when I need to. It's just a matter of organization and being able to access things in a more timely manner.

Project Status -
I'm having back and forth communication with the designer about getting all the banners and such ready. All the client's content is in, though -- as stated -- a bit disorganized, and we're still making sure that images are sized and formatted correctly. Getting everything onto the right page is a bit of a chore, but it's happening. Pages aren't really 'completed', but rather we're putting all the pieces of the puzzle together with the pieces we have.

Team Interactions:
Slow and steady. Communications are ongoing, but with everything else going on, it's somewhat tough to find a break to check and send emails -- it's why I'm on at 2:11 AM...

It is working fairly well for me, I just messed up this week - I didn't want to send the other teammates a link to the site while it still had missing pages, but I made the decision to style each page before moving on the next one, meaning I only finished a few hours ago. I take full responsibility for that.

Project Status -
Kathy designed the template, then I put in the content from the shell site and formatted everything, now we just need to work on the one or two things not in the shell site, and then confer with Stefan regarding PHP and the forms.

Team Interactions:
I'm getting what I need from the others (assuming their continued cooperation), but the others may feel differently about me; I had a lot to do this week and kinda dropped the ball.

Project Status -
The Designer/CD and I (PM) stay in regular contact with each other. During the content collection phase, I acted as the contact person for the team whenever there were questions or a need for clarification. Our communication is working, although there are quite a few people involved at different levels which makes it move along slower than I would like. Yet I feel I am communicating well with all members and we all know what needs to be done and who is doing it, it just takes a while for all the dots to connect to produce the result needed, but it is coming.

Project Status -
I have been working with Corrine and Susan at SRJC PR. Unfortunately all our content is not in yet. Our client has been advised what we are waiting on and we decided to drop a few pages as fear he will not have it in time. PR have agreed to work on him with on completing those pages after our class is complete. Our client is to send the pages we are waiting on during this week, Susan will edit it, send it back to him, once he approves the edits then Corrine gets it and sends it on to me to upload into the pages.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting well. Unfortunately our group (those working or involved in this website) is bigger than our class team so there are quite a few involved and all on different levels. I feel we had a big leap today though. Our mock ups are nearly all done, content is coming in and collages are getting done. Success

Project Status -
We do not yet have all the content and hope to have it by Friday. We will be using the templates to develop the pages in Dreamweaver.

Team Meetings:
Communication between the designer and content developer has been going smoothly. The CD has contacted the PM and DES as to what pages have been completed and uploaded to the web, as well as communicated any issues or concerns that arise. So far communication by email has been working well and there have been no issues concerning our communication.

Project Status -
All the necessary steps were taken to ensure that team members knew what their tasks were and got them done on time. Communication has been key to making sure everyone is on track; in person meetings were arranged when email communication was not enough. The team has successfully acquired 100% of the content and all team members are being updated as to when pages are being completed.

As the designer I made the template and passed it on to the CD. The CD and I have frequent email communication, and I was notified as each page was completed. As the programmer, I supplied the CD with 3 pages containing Flash slideshows. There were some technical problems in passing folders and files by email, but we had frequent email communication and a phone call. The problems were resolved relatively easily.

Team Interactions:
Our group works well together. Ideas are expressed freely, and the site development has progress steadily. I have all of the information I need to do my job.

Project Status -
All content is in. Our designer created the initial pages and as he is also a "CD" is sharing the page creation with the other CD

Team Interactions:
Group interaction is doing OK, everyone is working full time while taking this class, so considering that, we are doing good.

Designer and CDs are communicating vi e-mail and, as the designer, I think all is going well. CDs ask questions as necessary and I try to get back to them ASAP.

Project Status -
Designer put template together and all contributed to organizing the content with the CDs bearing the brunt of that job. We have all the content we are being given. We have a bit of a challenge since we have almost no real content and some pages are almost empty. CDs are doing a great job with the info given and lack of participation from client. I think we are all informed as to when pages are complete.

Team Interactions:
Our group interacts well. No issues on my end. I have all the info I need.

Team Meetings:
We are working very well as a team. We use email almost exclusively for communication. The designer has kept everyone fully informed about the current stage of the template and what we need to be aware of in filling in the content. The template is fully documented and easy to follow. The program manager has done a phenomenal job organizing the material received from the client making the job of the content developers much easier.

Project Status -
The template was forwarded to the team with the template description and instructions. Additional instructions arrive as we need them. I believe that all content in in. We may need some small details worked out with the client.

Team Interactions:
The team in interacting well. We all help each other.

Our team communication is still working very well. Lots of email communication with an occasional phone call if needed.

Project Status -
The templete was created by our designer, and then I (content developer) created all the pages other than the ones that required programming. All the content and images are in. I have informed the designer every time pages were created.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting very well. Yes, I have all the information required to do my job.

Everyone is communicating with one another and is even offering suggestions. When we are not in our bi-weekly meetings, we are emailing one another and all and getting information passed on to the parties that need that information.

Project Status -
Stephen meet with the client and with the teacher and came back with a couple of template possibilities. Once he got the client's approval, we were off and running. All content is in and information upon completion has been passed around our team.

Team Interactions:
In my opinion, we are all interacting quite well. I believe everyone is getting the help they need and the information they need without any holdups.

The test site is on my page at the student server, and Gloria has my password to log in and update her work. Communication is working fine for the team and plenty of emails going back & forth. The CD & Des have been working very hard putting things together. So the communication between the two, is working out great.

Project Status -
The Des created template and handed off to the CD, with codes, etc. All content has been submitted from the client, so the team can produce the finished site. The CD is cc to the PM (me)of what has been emailed to the Des; to look over the codes and point out any errors.

Team Interactions:
Mostly by email at this point in time and no phone calls have been needed. The Des is giving lot of feedback; with any errors that need to be fixed. Also myself; have been giving good feedback to my CD & Des.

Barbara Vallauri from the Saturday Afternoon Club group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
Our communications system is working fine. From my perspective as CD, our designer wrote a really comprehensive template that I'm able to use easily. We met at our template handoff class, where I received the template and documentation, and we've had several email conversations since where we exchanged pages and information.

Project Status -
All content is in, and everything's currently in place on each page. At the moment we're in early testing and debug stage, where the CD and designer work together to make sure the look and feel is to our liking. As CD I post my work to the web and send copies to my teammates when I've gotten as far as I can on each page.

Team Interactions:
I think we're communicating well. Certainly I'm not lacking any information in order to do my job.

Jerry Adamson from the American Philharmonic-Sonoma County group from the Web Content Practicum class submitted the Team Production report

Team Meetings:
According to the CDs and Designers the communication is working. As the PM I have seen emails passed back and forth between the team members. The team last met 3/30/09 and everything seemed to be going smoothly and the communication system is working.

Project Status -
The Designer handed over the templates to the Content Developers and they are the ones writing the code to create the site. Some of the content has been updated and will continue to be so since there are pages such as "what's new" and next season's schedule that will be provided as it changes. Everything will be in place before testing begins.

Team Interactions:
As far as I can tell everyone is getting what they need to do the job.
