Our team has the challenge that we work at different schedules so everything is via e-mail. The instructor's list of tasks per role was provided via url to the team to develop. It is a matter of allocating time that it is hard when working full time and being a student as well.

Mostly email (very frequently), some skype, it has been working just fine for me.

Project Status -
There was some confusion with our client regarding politics of their organization, but we got it all figured out now, and we can begin to work on the proposal.

We are progressing nicely. Skype is still our principle means of communication while the forum is used for major announcements.

Project Status -
Our team used guidelines and templates from online resources. It seemed to work very well for us.

We are interacting well as a team for the most part. We are still waiting on content from our client. Some of the content needed is still being created by our IMD. There have been issues with weather that have put a damper on our progress in this area, but I am confident that the needed videos will be available when needed for the finished website

Team Meetings:
Des McQuoid PM All communication between the team and the client is email driven, with a few phone calls. Everyone is cc'd so that the cross flow of communication is seen by all and the growing convergence of data and each person's role is transparent and open to comment, discussion or dialogue. We use the telephone as we did tonight amongst each other to tie up loose ends and distill any outstanding issues with the client so that I can address them by phone tomorrow.

Project Status -
The web proposal is broken into the components we each take responsibility for in our roles. The fear was that we might not be able to reach a consensus on design, direction and content. However that has proved not the case. Surprisingly we have a good amount of congruence, with the only slow link being the client decision making process based on the material we have submitted to them. It is difficult to finalize the proposal without the client signing off on their liking each component of the whole site overview.

Team Interactions:
So far we are getting the information we need and getting along well. Because everyone is copying everyone else in their email, and all information needed is not really data but opinions on design and content development. critical intangible information in the form of color and structural hierarchy from the client are our only concerns. Between the team we are moving within the realms we are assigned and sharing advice with a calm even flow. We all agree that the client is the weak link here, but not critically so. They are still within the timeline and they are moving on everything submitted or requested from them. Just a little slower than we'd like but moving nonetheless.

Team Meetings:
My team and I have consistently had three or more emails communications per week amongst all team members. We have also been consistently meeting twice a week via Skype. Communications needs have been met so far but in the coming weeks I'm sure they will need to increase in frequency as deadlines need to be met.

Project Status -
We are finishing up the proposal this week in preparation for Monday's meeting. We have reviewed and confirmed each others responsibilities for the proposal and set up a team meeting to review all finished components on Friday at 6:00pm. So far the process seems to be going well for us, and as of now I am confident that we will be ready for Monday's meet.

We skype twice a week, and email frequently (this week more then others, as we make sure all the parts of the proposal work together). I think the current level of communication we have is fine.

Project Status -
We each figured out our individual tasks (for ex: I agreed to take on the formidable content of the Shell Site, while Beth is working on the other aspects of the proposal), and are working on them independantly but frequently checking in to make sure everyone is on track, which seems to be working so far.

We have been communicating very well, email and skype, twice a week. Working well, nothing needs to change.

Project Status -
We are still creating the web proposal, talked about it during today's meeting. Everyone is doing there part, I have been busy with the design. We will discuss at our next meeting and continue to work on the proposal so that we are prepared for our meeting with you next week.

For right now, I moved to a different team due to the fact that the project manager of my former one dropped the class. I'm now working in the Video editors group. So far, we went over what I'm going to help with the website that we're working on.

Team Meetings:
Our team is in regular contact with each other except for Gene who has rarely responded. We had a Skype meeting this week and a client meeting today. The communication is working for me.

Project Status -
We are each providing the portions of web proposal designated on the site. Our proposal is not completed yet, but we are on schedule to complete it prior to our meeting next Monday. No concerns at present.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting very well with the exception of Gene who does not really participate in the emails. He did come to our client meeting today, so I met him for the first time. Dennis and Jackie are terrific and we are working well together and getting the information we need.

We are emailing and using a Yahoo group set up. We are communicating pretty much daily. It's working well.

Project Status -
As far as I know each person is doing their part as listed on the class website. In my particular case, the web proposal is pretty straight forward. No concerns or suggestions.

I think the CD's are still a bit confused on how it's all supposed to work. I don't think they are getting the feedback they need from the client?? So far, I'm getting everything I need for my part and hopefully will be able to assist the CD's later if needed.

Project Status -
We worked individually on our portions and sent them to our teammates for review as we got them drafted. We then are linking the parts to the project website.

The group is interacting well. As time goes on, we are working better together. This has been a slow week in getting response from the client, hopefully that will change.

We have a weekly Skype conference call and daily emails. This system is working, it helps me stay on top of things I need to get done.

Project Status -
We use the process of emailing each other and skype for the information we need, email each other our documents for suggestions and comments, and finalize the document, convert it for the Project Site. This works well because we each get a chance to see and agree on what others are putting together.

We interact pretty good, sometimes its a little difficult to get all the information when I want it but that is to be expected because we each have a life and I get the information by the time I truly need it anyway.

Team Meetings:
Yes. The communication is very strong. The messages a long and in-depth most of the time, and everybody puts in his voice. I'm a bit worried about falling behind in communication and appearing like the most worthless team member.

Project Status -
I'm not concerned with the web proposal. Everybody's on top of it and doing their part. We're working on it through email mostly, with our client giving constant and detailed feedback along the way.

Team Interactions:
Everybody's very clear and admirably consistent with their communication and now have weekly meetings. At some point, we plan to meet with the programmer to talk about how we will handle articles in Drupal.

Team Meetings:
Our team has met online using Ventrilo---so far the only program that has worked for us consistently, and even then we spend a bit of time each time to get everyone able to participate both by voice and chat. We have had many, many emails back and forth with the client, and several of the team had a face-to-face meeting with the client as well. The current plan is to meet once a week all together using Ventrilo, with emails and face-to-face meetings as needed. I think this will work. I'm feeling a bit out of the loop from just following emails, but have been sick and busy as well. It's not the fault of the communication plan or any of the team that I'm not "in the middle" of what is happening. I should get back on track at our meeting on Wednesday. I'm glad we've begun to have the weekly meeting.

Project Status -
We are still in the process of nailing down all the pieces of the proposal. Each team member is working on their part. They will be sending me a link to their part to link to our web page. I have asked that they each create a .pdf so it can be printed for the proposal meeting. We will hopefully pull all the pieces together by Wednesday and be ready for our meeting on Monday.

I believe the team and client are working well together. Everyone is doing their part and pulling their weight. The client has been fantastic and I think we'll have a very solid proposal for her to sign off on. We're getting the details worked out beforehand, which I appreciate.

Team Meetings:
Our communication has been by email. This week I sent Kevin copies of my original comps and this weekend, I sent some revisions and asked for his opinions. I didn't here much from Kevin this week, but read that he was out of town. The communication has worked okay so far.

Project Status -
My parts of the web proposal include the storyboard which is complete the comps which I finished revising and will present to the client this week and the creative brief that I will work on this week and email to Kevin. With only a two-person team, the coordination is not difficult. If it isn't mine, it's his.

Team Interactions:
No problems. Everything is moving forward on schedule as far as I know. I am not the project manager, so I am only concerning myself with my own assignments unless asked for input.

The communication is working well. We have all been working on the various parts of the web proposal, and I have prepared a technical brief.

Project Status -
We worked individually, then sent updated links and materials to each other to review. The process of sharing e-mails works extremely well for us, and I also like to call on the phone when needed.

Team Interactions:
The group interaction is positive. We are a little bit overwhelmed, but will be able to work and share enough of the load to allow time to recover.

Yes, it is. We have a forum set up on Joomla and everyone has been awesome about communicating.

Project Status -
We are all working on the elements that we are responsible for. By discussing what was due and where we are in the process brought together some good collaboration. I am concerned about getting it done by the deadline, but I suppose that's normal.

Team Interactions:
We meet each week via Skype to discuss what we're working on, deadlines and what's coming up for the next week. I really like these meetings as it gets everyone on track, focused and working together. It also helps us make decisions and work out issues that arise. It sometimes takes awhile to find the information I need, but it's there and eventually, I do.

Team Meetings:
We each have been working on our respective parts of the web proposal. There has been phone calls and e-mails. I have called the designer and discussed page content and architecture of the navigation. I have sent several e-mails after updating the production standards and content status chart.

Project Status -
We sent information links and material to the project manager. This method has worked well so far. I don;t have any suggestions for improvement at this time.

I found missing contents, and tried to solve the problems. I called the project manager and the content developer. I am just waiting their response. I really think a phone call is the best communication device. The e-mail is really hard to describe.

Project Status -
Currently, I am working on the 2nd web gallery, and I really have to work on it for the contribution to the web proposal.

We have been emailing several times a week. This is working.

Project Status -
We are creating our own sections based on the class web site. Brandon our CD, has sent me the web standards for input and I need to get back to him. I'm trying to figure out how Joomla will change the nature of these standards. I am concerned about the steep learning curve for Joomla. I've been spending a lot of time reading a book and using the Internet to try to learn it, but I'm worried about getting it to work and meeting the deadline. At some point, if I can't get it to work, I'm going to drop Joomla and do it the "old fashioned way" in Dreamweaver.

Team Meetings:
We are still pretty much communicating by email. We did have a face to face to discuss the content when we received it. I don't think the communication plan is being followed as closely as it was in the very beginning. Emails are not being addressed within a 24 hour period, if at all. I have discussed this recently with the team and hopefully it will get better.

Project Status -
We have had a few issues with the client recently and the components for the proposal are coming together much slower than planned. Hopefully now that the situation has been resolved we will be able to still meet our proposal deadline. My main concern is getting it together on time, a lot of my part of the proposal depends on other components. For example it's very difficult for me to write a contract if I don't know what we are going to deliver.

I think we are interacting in an OK manner but it could be better. I'm finding that at times I have to really work at getting information on the status of the project. And right now I'm not getting the information to do my job. Though I am trying.

We have been using facebook for the majority of our communication. We use email to send some files. We recently had a face to face with client. With the help of Linda we finally was able to get a clear understanding of where the site will

We had very hard start with our client we are now on the right track and will be making the Web Proposal soon.

We have been probably or hopefully the hardest part is behind us. We were so glad that the meeting went as well as it did. We can now move forward.

Team Meetings:
This week we established a meeting for every Wednesday morning. This is something we are doing over Ventrillo, which is working very nicely. That is on top of daily emails regarding various topics.

Project Status -
We reviewed each other's individual rolls, and set deadlines to meet them. Caroline did a great job of highlighting the individual things needed, and we each worked with eachother to come to a point of agreement. There was some last minute tweaking that had to happen, but it feels like we are well on track.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting well. Caroline is doing a great job keeping us all with goals to meet. The meetings are going very nicely. The team is so solid. Everyone is getting me the info I need to do my job... including Maureen our client.

Team Meetings:
We communicate via Facebook the most and frequently, at least once a day, usually more. We also send emails, about 1 to 2 times a week. The emails are used for updates, gathering all of our recent posts from FB, and giving general updates about meetings, what's going on, etc. There has also been face-to-face meetings when needed. The communication system works for me. I like that there are the email summaries of our FB conversations and updates because sometimes it's hard for me to organize the FB conversations that are going on.

Project Status -
We each did our individual parts and Cecilia organized everything together.

Team Interactions:
I'm getting the information I need to do my job. Cecilia is a great PM, and is great with helping us with our jobs, and everybody is doing a great job. I think FB is helping a lot with our communication with keeping everybody updated and with sharing our ideas.

Still using email most of time. I was a little lax in responding to email last week and I had to travel unexpectedly last Thursday. I pan to get back on track this week. My team mate is doing a great job with her comps.

I am still working on the comps as CD and PM. Jane (DES) is on track with her comps and the storyboard is finalized. I will update the project website with the comps this week along with the other parts of the proposal.

Team Meetings:
The Yahoo groups works well in keeping all team members updated on what everyone is doing. All team members good about contributing info on what they are currently working on. CDs are currently waiting for some final decisions on content before moving forward.

Project Status -
Sarah, our PM, reminded everyone of what they needed to be providing. The CDs decided to work jointly on all four of our required items, with Susan monitoring and adding all contributions to the shell site and production standards, and Kiki monitoring and adding all contributions to the deliverables and the content status document. I do not have any concerns about how this is working.

Team Interactions:
The group is interacting well. With such a large site, there is still some difficulty in determining who has to make certain decisions, but with Sarah's assistance, we manage to work it out fine. We are not currently getting all the info we need because of an issue with dividing the "volunteer" navigation, but the designer and PM are working on it and we have contacted our PM about the need for input from the client.

PM informed us about the Web Proposal and what our requirements are. CD's agreed to work together on all 4 requirements. Shell Site, Production Standards, monitored Susan Deliverables, Content Status, monitored by Kiki We are awaiting info from group on Productions Standards.

A collaborative effort with the client was used to create the first and second drafts [proposals]. This process worked well to better define expectations. So far this is working well

We are currently still working on it. But I sent out an excel sheet that had all the components of the proposal on it and who was responsible for them. I also sent out the link to your site were the info was located.

I think it's working ok. We seem to have a delayed responce from some members and the client, but I think now that the issues with the client has been resolved we'll get back to a good work flow.

I'm unsure of this process and we've had some delays it getting deliverables to the PM. I think we are the right track, but because of our issues with the client we might be a little behind.

I think I've been worst team member this week due to illness and issues with the client. I'm trying hard to stay on track and hopefully now things will go smothly.

We are not done with the web proposal. It would be a lot easier if we met in person but we are making in work.

Team Meetings:
The team continues to use email as our primary communication tool, although I believe the two CDs use the telephone in addition to email and various team members have had additional face-to-face meetings with the client. I think everyone feels this is working out just fine. Everyone is very prompt at getting back with any needed answers; it all seems to work quite smoothly.

Project Status -
We have pretty much been working on our own areas of rsponsibility for the Web Proposal. There has been a lot of cooperation between the CDs and the Designer to make sure everyone knows who is to do what, but for the most part, we have all acted independently. We're really still working on it so I will likely know better if I have any suggestions for improvements once I've pulled all the different parts together.

I think we're all interacting very well. Everyone is working very hard to make sure they are not holding up any one else so I think we will be able to stay on track quite well. We communicate well and we care about the project succeeding, so everyone is very diligent about completing their parts in this.

We continue to communicate via email multiple times a week. We had a group skype call last week in preparation for a client meeting Monday to finalize the storyboard, the comp and other current issues.

Project Status -
We have been working on our indivudual portions. I wish the total comonents of the Web Proposal had been laied out in a lecture a week or three ago. I feel like the lectures are not early enough in the process to really help as much I would like. I end up having to do a lot of hunting and pecking on this website to find certain lists or deadlines etc. I am glad I am not the PM;-)

The communication system is working. It is sometimes not as frequent or quick as I would prefer, but it seems to be working.

Project Status -
We are still working on the individual pieces. As the PM I have not received any items from my team yet. I have set a deadline of March 4th, so I would not expect to have anything yet. I will compile it over the weekend and be ready for our meeting on either Monday or Tuesday.

We've had numerous face to fact meetings, but we do most of our communications on a private Facebook page one member of our team, Micah, set up for us. We also share files by email and we post things on our Facebook board. In addition two members of the team post things on the student server for the rest of the team to check out. Communication is working fine.

I have not seen the web proposal yet but the PM is working on it. We're a little late I think because there was some confusion mainly on my part about the process. I set the team back by not handling our first meeting with the client correctly, but we're back on track.

The web proposal process has been working well and I believe that it is good as individuals with different jobs to explain what we are doing for the team and the client, and reporting it to everyone. This helps everyone be aware of what each person is doing in their respective role. I think all is going well.

We have a weekly on-line conference call type meeting and are all quiet active on email. Communication has been very good so far, and I am pleased that we decided to have weekly meetings.

The process is that everyone is responsible for the pieces that are assigned to them. We have all been given a deadline of this Wednesday for our pieces, which seems reasonable. It seems that everyone will be able to fulfill their responsibilities on time.

Team Meetings:
We continue to meet in person weekly, though we also held our first skype meeting this morning. Skype worked very well for us with no technical glitches! The team communicates via e-mail almost daily and there are occasional phone conversations as well. The team is very knowledgable and responsive and the communications system is working well.

Project Status -
We are still working on creating the web proposal. Each individual drafts their components and sends to the team for input. The elements of the proposal are listed on the website with links to the documents as they are prepared. The description of each component and the examples are helpful. No concerns or suggestions for improvements at this time.

It's been strictly email for us, but with the proper use of attachments, we've been able to get across everything we've needed to. A lot of the back and forth causes reply history to build up, but it's not confusing enough to call it a problem.

Project Status -
We basically divided up the work amongst the appropriate members and looked for advice from one another when we weren't sure. I think everyone did a really great job putting it together all things considered, and in the end Kathy tied it's presentation together quite nicely.

Kathy is doing a really great job of making sure everyone knows what they're supposed to be doing and letting us know a little ahead of time. There were a few small delays due to scheduling outside of the class, but nothing game-breaking.

We frequently email back and forth, and have recently set up Skype. I think it works overall very well for the group.

Project Status -
After setting up how the website would be structured, we each worked on our part separately, and showed each other what we had finished at the end. It worked fairly well for me, I was able to adapt to changes to, say, the site map with relative ease.

More or less very well. While each team members has individual committments and cant be there 24/7, we seem to be accomplishing our goals and working fairly well together.

Our team has had several team-only meetings and four client meetings. We also email each other frequently to exchange information. Most members of our team respond to emails in a timely manner and provide feedback as necessary.

As PM, I organized the elements and ensured everyone completed their assigned parts. It worked well, as everyone turned their part in on time.

The group is functioning fairly well, with everyone working hard at their assigned jobs. However, not everyone is as technically well versed as our programmer, so we have had some miscommunication/misunderstanding around technical issues.

So far our system of communication has been working well. Whenever there are questions or concerns, emails are sent and emails are checked daily. For immediate communication we also use cell phone. There are no problems in this area :)

Project Status -
The process we used was where each team member knew what they were responsible for and would work on their part of the proposal. In person meetings were then held almost every week to review each other's progress, ask questions and get feedback. I believe our process worked well. Most of the work only needed email communication to get the necessary feedback from each other, but the meetings were very helpful in checking that we were all keeping track of our work and meeting our schedule deadlines.

I believe the group is interacting very well. We all get our work done and get along well. There have been very few issues we've had to deal with and overall I'm very proud of my team and their work ethic :)

As a team we have set up a regular weekly meeting on Fridays with our client. We haven't missed many of these meetings and they seem to work very well for everyone. So far the communication system is working for me, but I know that I have been bad about returning emails lately. I need to respond to emails right away so my team knows what I am doing.

Project Status -
The web proposal was started by one team member and we all contributed to the finished piece. Once everything was compiled our PM was able to get it all together and present it to the teacher. It worked well for us and the only thing that was difficult was the amount of information that we needed to compile.

I think the only thing I'd point out is that because we work remotely it'd be nice to be in on the process a little more, see the progress as she puts the proposal together from the disperate elements.

Communication has been through email 99% of the time. Some phone has been used for urgent messages , especially since I don't check email till the evenings. This is working for me the best. We used to use Basecamp, but it doesn't seem like we need it much anymore. It was useful in the beginning.

PM helped with the coordination. Used the course website for the details. PM updated the project site which had an "X" next to each person's name for task requirements. It worked well.

For the most part our team meets by usually sending email. If we are all on AIM Instant Messenger then we will talk about stuff over that. This communication system seems to be working for us.

The process that we used to create the proposal was we all did our assigned duties. Once a task was complete I would upload the completed task to our project website and add it to the document version of the proposal. This process worked fine for us and we were able to complete it on time.

We are doing fine. I am a little confused about how it's going to work with Webvanta, and I'm still learning alot about basic website production, storyboarding, shell site and how to put one up and so on. But I feel I have resources available to me to help with parts that are difficult.

Jay and I generally communicate via phone and e-mail at least once a day. When he needs to show me something, we might use ConnectNow. Our system seems to be working very well for both of us. I know that he feels very comfortable calling me whenever he needs to, and I feel the same.

Project Status -
We followed the process set up with you, after losing our Content Developer. It worked very smoothly. We gave each other lots of feedback, and went through the Productions Standards document meticulously, over several phone calls, until we got it right. I appreciated the entire process, because it gave me an in depth understanding of all the components of the project.

Team Interactions:
Jay and I interact very well. Our communication styles are compatible, and we've developed a relationship built on mutual respect and trust. I feel very supported by him, and hope he feels the same. We encourage each other, and have fun in the process.

Communication continues to be good, and effective. I continue to meet, via skype, on Friday's. Client also joins the meeting, usually for the first 30min to discuss our progress, and the rest of the meeting is logistics and upcoming tasks. As things slow down, I only need to email the team twice a week, and communicate frequently(more than twice a week) with those that have tasks to complete, just to check up and see if they need anything from me.

Project Status -
Weekly meeting with team and client help to solidify what was going to be presented to the client. Tasks were assigned, as instructed, and all content for the proposal was sent to me and posted on the project site as we progressed through the process. I put together the final hard copies and was present when the client signed.

I believe the communication between the PM and DES is working well. We have met several times for our weekly meeting using Skype and email is usually responded to within 24 hours.

The process of creating the Web Proposal has been difficult. The DES and I (PM) have simply used the class website to define and create our individual responsibilities but the content has been very difficult to acquire and the CD has been unable to handle the requirements of the role.

We have had a hard time getting an approved design and although the PM and DES have had no problems communicating, the CD has been unreliable and has only showed up for one team meeting.

We continue to meet on a weekly basis on Skype with email communication between the team members. As Project Manager I have tried to keep to an agenda for the meetings and ask team members if they have any questions or concerns. There have been a couple instances where I misstated who was responsible for certain task, which caused some consternation, but was quickly resolved once we had a chance to discuss the assignments.

Project Status -
The project website was setup under my account on the SRJC server so it was necessary for the individuals to provide their content in a form that could be easily translated to the site. Word documents were submitted for the parts that were the responsibility of each team member and I converted them to html for presentation. Team members were asked to review the content of all pages and to give feedback. Changes were made to the html pages based on the feedback.

I believe we are working fairly well. I have been happy with the level of participation; items required for the proposal were submitted in time to be incorporated into our package. With our meeting this afternoon with our client we will have the additional feedback on how we will proceed.

The communication is working although there are many people involved and I feel some things are being held back a little due to requirements we must met with these multiple departments, (PR, Music Department, computing Systems). I set up my own template for the whole proposal as I had so many areas to complete being both the Content Developer and the Designer. I like the way it came out, and the client liked it as well. When Monte and I met with Angie on site, we only had a few minor changes to make and she signed the contract....YEAH!

The communication that I have had with my fellow team member has been fantastic and I could honestly not ask for a better member to be partnered with. I am able to go to her with problems that I may be having with the clients content, and she simply talks the ball and runs with it settling the problem.

My contributions to the team proposal were then submitted to my project manager via email, who then seamlessly integrated the parts into the whole of the proposal. Team Meetings:
Our team continues to communicate through email and phone. We have had 4-6 meetings since the beginning of class to discuss progress of the project. So far our method of communication seems to be working for the team.

Project Status -
Each team member was responsible for providing the materials pertaining to their job description. The PM made sure to follow up on the progress before the Web Proposal deadline. As the C.D. for the team, having to provide the list of deliverables and standards was a lot of work but it worked out in the end with the help of my teammates, they provided suggestions and lots of input before the final draft.

Team Meetings:
We continue to use primarily e-mail to communicate. Much of the information that we have shared, particularly with the web proposal preparation, was posted on the project site. At the beginning of the semester we used Basecamp quite regularly and it was very useful for getting us started, but recently we have not used it as much, as e-mail has seemed a more appropriate tool for our current needs. Dropbox continues to be our primary means of file sharing.

Project Status -
All team members took their assigned parts of the proposal, read over the information on the course website, and produced the material. As PM, I set a deadline of a 5 days before the first time slot: 3/1. Since we did not end up having our review until 3/8 this gave us time to have Linda review it ahead of time and make a few adjustments. We made a few further changes following our review and presented the finished proposal to the client last Thursday. During the client presentation, each team member reviewed the pieces he or she had created. Overall the process worked very well.

The group is interacting well together overall. We continue to use 3 PM e-mails per week and weekly status updates from each team member.

Team Meetings:
The communication system is working for me. Recently we've had one face to face meeting to finalize the Web Proposal and then met face to face to get the proposal approved. Beyond that we've been emailing with updates and questions.

Project Status -
The process our team used to create the Web Proposal was to assign sections to the people who were working on that section of the site. This worked well because those people knew their section better than anyone else. If sections overlapped then one person was assigned to it, but had to seek help from the team member who had the info they didn't have. Once all the sections were completed the PM (me) read through the proposal to make sure the entire proposal was consistent.

The group is interacting well. All the information from the client is in and everyone has the info they need to get their job done.

we had 2 face to face meetings with the client and 2 seperate team meetings. Jen wasn't in the class while the first client meeting and team meeting happened. I wasn't able to be there for one of the team meetings due to scheduling conflicts. I lost my internet connection briefly the afternoon, and wasn't able to fix it (myself!) until a few miinutes ago so I apologize if my words are brief, it's 11:37 right now!

Team Meetings:
Yes and no. It was working alright, but in the past week or so I've gotten completely swamped - too many projects all demanding attention at the same time. I'm trying to get things back together, but I'm in a bit of a time crunch at the moment. I'm hoping that the other team members will be able to continue on with their parts of the project while I try to get myself back up to speed. Since I'm the PM, I'm concerned that most of the team members are fairly passive about communicating.

Project Status -
The web proposal was created after one meeting with the client, a team meeting that not everyone was able to attend, several emails between the PM (me) and the client, with team members being CC'd on the client's responses. Content was delivered to the CD (Jen) as it was provided by the client. The different parts of the proposal were put together by different team members, pretty much independently. I really like the concept of putting together a web proposal, and I think that it would work better in an actual business setting. In the class setting, with people on different schedules with different work loads, and with some difficulty meeting, it hasn't been the easiest thing to get done.

Team Interactions:
I don't really feel like the group is interacting as well as it should be at this point. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I rarely hear from other team members unless I directly ask them a question. I've been able to get most of the info I needed, but some has been more difficult to get than others.

Yes, the communication is working. We email as needed, sometimes several times a day. Response has been rapid from all parties. There are a few times when a face to face meeting might have sped things up, but we now know to respond and ask for clarification.

Project Status -
The Web Proposal was done via email and telephone conversations with the client. We had a little technical trouble getting the Web Proposal signatures scanned and emailed, as we do all our work via email, but except for a couple days delay, it worked out.

The team divided up the proposal work either through a volunteer effort or by assignments from the PM. Everyone participated though the PM did the bulk of the site work and presentation.

Our communication has been very frequent, often several times daily, and at least several times per week. It has been almost exclusively email, with face to face meetings when meeting with the instructor or our client. The communication system is working very well.

Project Status -
Our PM organized and set up the proposal on the shell site which she created. As designer I contributed all work the designer is responsible for, including the storyboard, creative brief and mock ups, as well as advising on all other areas of the proposal regarding design, including deliverables and production standards. As programmer I contributed the technical brief and advised the PM on all other areas of the proposal concerning programming. I thought the process of creating the proposal went well and don't have any suggestions for improvement.

Our communication has still been almost entirely over email. We've only all met in person once; Larry and I have met a few times and have talked over the phone a few times. This has been ideal and working great for me.

Larry as the PM took the lead and he divvied out sections of it to Antonio and I according to our roles. We all contributed our parts to the whole. This worked well and I was glad Larry was on the ball with the proposal because I was very busy and distracted with designing and building the site.

The communication is working OK. The team tends to be a bit overzealous with the amount of email that has been sent, I have nearly 300 emails in my team folder. I would prefer longer/detailed email if the thoughts are composed rather than many random thoughts.

Project Status -
The web proposal went fine although I wish the timing for the last client meeting to sign off for content would have been a bit earlier to allow for layout changes in the template. These aren't major changes but the html template is quite a large project in itself. This is not a team issue, I just think in hindsight a time-line thing.

There are some issues regarding images for the header banner that still need to be worked out but I have an image to use in its place until then.

We divided up the Web Proposal parts amongst the two content developers, Anna and myself, which we then completed with contributions from the designer Rebecca and Nichelle. We then forwarded on the completed pieces to the team. The project manager, Nichelle, pulled all the pieces together in the team website very nicely. The team website is definitely worth a look, it is fantastic. Nichelle also made a photo gallery of all the received photos/graphics and the information that goes with them which is extremely helpful.

Our team has very good email communication. We see each other at client meetings once a month.

Project Status -
As the PM, I took each element of the web proposal and created a table on an HTML page. Each element had a responsible person and a column listing whether the task was completed. As each part was completed, I converted the file to HTML and linked each part to the table until the list was complete. All members, including the client, could easily review the elements. I finally printed each page and presented it to the instructor and the client for approval.

We have an easy, friendly, comfortable and respectable relationship which makes interaction fluid. I am satisfied with the information I have received.

The process of creating a web proposal worked reasonably well for me, although the examples of past web proposals really display a variety of understandings about what goes in the deliverables; I think I have a better idea about that now, and I'm grateful for the input received in our conference.

I think the group is very positive, and we are all very grateful to the representative of our client (Krisha), who is very gracious in her appreciation of our process and extremely forthcoming with the materials required for our redesign and implementation.

After a few struggles we were able to bring the Proposal together. The method worked fine for me - following the suggestions on the class webpage regarding who was responsible for what told me just about everything I needed to know to do my part.

Our team communicates mainly through email, with one or two phones, and a couple of face-to-face meetings on Mondays. Emails are frequent and at times have numbered probably 10-15 in a week, or the smallest weeks are maybe 2-3.

I think the communication plan is working good. At times there seems to be misunderstanding but i feel because of our teams and clients open communication situations get cleared up quickly and I like that.

each of us did our part and I gathered the information and added a header to each element befor printing. It was alot of work for everyone but we got it done. I liked this process- information was readyly avialable for each role to help accomplish the common goal of a great webproposal. Things went smooth.

Yes, the communication system is working fine for me. I am receiving information that I am needing pretty promptly, especially from the client. She usually responds prior to the 24 hour notification period we have established. Some of the team members usually respond more quickly then others, but the project is going fine.

Project Status -
Our project manager created a web site to house the different parts of the web proposal. We all contributed our part to the project and our PM put it all together and printed it out. I delivered my part, as well as everyone else, and the Proposal was presented, so I would say it worked well. I can't think of any improvements necessary for the web proposal. It went smoothly.

Mark and I (the content developers) are constantly chatting back and forth regarding questions about the project. Jerry, tries to keep us to a schedule which is working fine for us. Stephen, has his hands full of the design part, but we should be seeing things from him shortly. Once we have that part, we the CD's will be off and running once again.

Team Meetings:
The team continues to meet face to face on a regular basis and use email on other occasions. Like all teams some members communicate more often than others but overall the project continues to move forward.

Project Status -
I developed a template in Dreamweaver containing a header and vertical navigation within the site which people could use. Personally I was responsible for contact page, strategic briefs, communication, work flow, and contract. Other team members contributed with their pages that were consolidated into the main web site. The main flow linked back to individual team members server address. I used the web site as the basis for producing the printed copies for the client and the instructor. The team and client initialed the pages and signed the contract.

Team Interactions:
In some instances communication has been outstanding with some members passing information back to the team sooner than the due date. There is a great deal of information sharing and helpful suggestions among some of the team members as well. The project continues to remain on schedule and in some cases ahead of schedule.
