The Stratosphere tower and casino is the new location of the old "Vegas World". It's 1100 ft plus tower can be seen from any part of the city.

The last day of our trip included a ride up and a drink at the top of the tower. We spent the two days earlier trying to talk Gary and Frenchy into taking the ride with us. Frenchy broke down and agreed while Gary wouldn't break and spent the time at a bar top poker machine at ground level.

The 30 second elevator ride took us to the inside observation level. One level up and we were at the outside observation walkway. Frenchy followed us out and soon thereafter we had to pry his hands from the chain link fence and bring him back inside. I decided to ride the "BIG SHOT" on top of the tower. It's bad enough being up as high as we were but to be shot up an additional 150 ft. wasn't the fun that I thought I would have.

Our last stop was the bar and a light bloody mary served by an impersonal bartender before descending to the casino and Gary.
