In case you can't tell from the above animated GIF file, we have a little cat named Morticia. She protects us from Irish Setters and Golden Retrievers, among other things. She also hangs on screen doors and screened in windows until someone lets her in. If you don't get to the door early enough to let her in, she also arches her back and SLAMS the screen door. Don't mess with her! She's an attack cat!!!

One night we were lying in bed and heard sshhhk! Sshhhk! We turned on the light. "Oh no!" John said, "I left the kleenex box on the floor!" She loves tissue paper. Just leave a box on the floor, and you'll have confetti! It looked like snow in there. :-D

A word or two about world conflicts

It saddens us that there are conflicts in the countries whose dances and music we love so much. My husband and I join with others in this international medium for prayer that the conflicts cease, and that those who are filled with hatred for each other will learn to see that we are all brothers and sisters and embrace each other in friendship. Please join us in praying that the hatred cease, and that one day soon, all can meet in friendship and love to share the beauty of music and dance. We pray especially for those whose families, friends, and homes have been shattered by hatred--that they not respond in kind. We know that revenge only accelerates the hate. It only adds to the problems. Hate is never a good solution. We seek true harmony, both in music, and in world peace and love. With malice toward none. . .
