Clive Bunker Drum Solo in a jar! 1969, Jethro Tull's first U.S. tour,
Alexandria Va. Roller Rink Concert. I've heard 'em all solo, Ansley
Dunbar, Elvin Jones, Ginger Baker, Art Blakey, you name it, but this
was the best drum solo I ever heard out of the '60's-70's drum solo
period. Fortunately I happened to notice an empty peanut butter jar
next to me, and having my wits about me (right!) I quickly and
tightly sealed the lid as soon as I realized what had gone down. And
Clive's solo has remained in there ever since. Item not for sale.
