Santa Rosa, CA USA - Sunday, April 27, 2003 at 11:44:37 (PDT)Vallelunga: you still checking? I often think back on our great reunion and what a major contribution this web site made for everybody. Site still active, I see: at least, still accessible. Thanks for that - the pics and memories are still wonderful. What a great group of guys we had in Class of '69, many of whom I continue to run into since this posting. Diversity redefined - of course we should have been more reflective of SF's surrounding racial society - but a wider range of personalities and life styles I'd challenge any high school at the time, or since - to meet. So enriching. So character and soul building. So fun. Within the backdrop of the famous SF "hippie" 1960's occurring just down the street at Haight. Civil rights. Beginnings of womens' movement. Free speech. Free concerts. Free love (not likely!). Drugs, good and bad. Booze. Our parent's generation. Rejection of our parent's generation. Open, intellectual arguments of important social issues. The war. College. Not college. Sex. Sex. More sex (i.e., whether getting or no). Sex. Sex. More sex (i.e., whither getting or no - remember the tantric posters?). Posters. Fillmore concerts. Avilon concerts. Indian fabrics. Incense. Exploring our lives. Exploring our universe. What a gas.

USA - Whoa - still some visitors? Are we just recovering from that monster hang-over now? (Or was that just me...?)Steve H: I just knew you physics nerds would take advantage of Spohn's teachings and make a killing. Sounds like a great trip, and I'll have to visit that site for the pix. Paul B: say hi to that old retired Martini, for me.John V: nice to see the other board is down to year 100.

USA - I am sorry I missed what sounded like a great reunion. Please let me know (John O,Conner) when another group of the guys get together. I think I might get the prize for still looking like an adolescent even into the late 40's. I just found the site and what a great idea! It's great to hear a little bit of what happenned to all of us. I'm doing what I love to do - electronics - designing integrated circuits for Linear Technology Corp. I just got back from a 7 week trip accross the USA in a motorhome-something I did not think I would ever caught dead doing just 20 years ago!Sedona, AZ, New Orleans, Florida, D.C., New York, Boston, Chicago, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone - all in 50 days (with the family of four. View some pictures at http://home.att.net/~hob9/ Comments welcome!

USA - Monday, May 29, 2000 at 22:22:43 (PDT)Thanks to the organizing committee for all your initiative and hard work. It was a great gathering. Each one seems to be a little more relaxed than the last one. I take that as a good sign. And I can't remember the last time I was out until 2 partying! Many thanks, Phil McManus

USA - Friday, November 19, 1999 at 17:50:18 (PST)I can only reiterate what John O'Connor said, it was a truly great weekend and a most memorable evening. It was such a pleasure spending time with classmates I haven't spoken to in years. I think Joey was rignt, S.I. isn't the new school, it isn't the teachers, it isn't the students and it isn't the fundraisers, IT IS US.I want to add a special thanks to John O'C for all of his work on the two events, the golf tournament and the reunion, itself. Without his vision, hard work and dedication to detail, the weekend would have been another S.I. Commons, only, event. Thanks again, John for all your efforts. And thanks to all of the committee members for fulfilling your duties to make the S.I. Class of 1969 30 Year Reunion one for the millenium. Now, who should we volunteer to plan the next one? It should be relatively easy, the blue print is right there.

Corte Madera, CA USA - Tuesday, November 09, 1999 at 13:54:11 (PST)My friends,
Thank you all so much for still being here. Although I was unable to attend the Saturday soiree, I had the time o' my life on Friday at the Boathouse. As a single child, I had forgotten what it was like to be with the only true brothers I have ever known.
See you in 2004.

Fairfax, CA USA - Monday, November 08, 1999 at 22:13:09 (PST)Thanks, guys. On behalf of Joe Alioto, Gene Boscacci, Gerry Clifford, Pat Duterte, Dick Dumont, Jose Guevara, Mike Grazioli, Steve Laveroni, Tom Rivard, Mike Taheny, and ex officio John Vallelunga, we appreciate it. I don't think we could conjure up a better evening. The rooms, the view, the hors d'ouvres, the wine, the food, the souvenir glasses, the decor, the invites, the web site, the DJ, etc...all made this a truly unique and memorable San Francisco experience. But other groups use that same room on a weekly basis without the magical results. I remember sitting back at one point soaking it all in - hearing the conversation, banter, and laughter - and found myself extremely gratified just to be a part of it all. So thanks to all of you for coming. The committee made it happen. You all made it great.

San Jose, ca USA - Monday, November 08, 1999 at 15:57:16 (PST)O'Connor, Dumont, Taheny, Boscacci & all the guys that put the reunion and golf tournment together...it WAS the best ever! Thanks much for all your work. I had a great time and a lot of laughs. Sorry I left early without saying goodbye to everyone but I had to get up early and teach a class on Sunday morning (I even listened to Bernie Ward on "Godtalk" on the way to Marin that morning). Can't wait to see the pictures from Saturday.
