By fusing traditional jazz elements with complex drumbeats and loop-based electronic music, the young jazz musicians of Realistic offer a live, absolutely captivating experience. They combine the energy of finely crafted songs with the excitement of improvisation. By using the versatility of a DJ with an arsenal of digital effects, they create a unique fusion of electronic jazz, hip-hop beats and live drum n bass.

Famous for their man vs. machine sessions and light hearted but airtight electric jazz jams, Realistic has successfully drawn a steady crowd to the Blue Bar, in historic San Francisco's North Beach for the past three years. Their growing popularity and respect amongst the San Francisco jazz community has lead Realistic to prestigious opening slots for Charlie Hunter, Brad Mehldau and Roy Ayers along with regular gigs at venues such as: THE JUSTICE LEAGUE (SF), ZEBULON'S LOUNGE (Petaluma), THE MYSTIC THEATER (Petaluma), THE PHOENIX THEATER (Petaluma), NORTH BEACH JAZZ FESTIVAL (SF), JUPITERS (Berkeley), TONGUE N GROOVE (SF), EL RIO (SF), BRUNO'S (SF).
