Big eared elves were popular in fantasy comics and animation this year...

Remember Lynn Minmay and the Varitech Jet Fighter from the Robotech
cartoon released in the states back in the 1980's? The series was originally
called Macross in Japan, and it's still very popular... the old episodes are
still in sydication on some channels!
