DAY COOKING SCHOOL IN THE MONFERRATO REGION OF ASTI - COURSE B
|
|
| TYPE OF COURSE | A residential course with full board. Cooking classes, wine and grappa tasting, sightseeing in the Monferrato, Langhe and Roero areas. Including a shopping day in Milan or Torino. |
| COOKING CLASSES - 5 SESSIONS | The course focuses on the methods and materials of the celebrated specialties of the Piedmont and Italian cuisines. Each lesson finishes with feasting upon sumptuous dishes created that day in class. The class will dine together in the hall of La Corte Chiusa. |

GUIDED TOURS |
Take a tour of Asti, Alba and other towns of the the Monferrato, Langhe and Roero that are of particular interest to lovers of great food and wine. En route you’ll see beautiful countryside while tasting exquisite local specialties. |
| OTHER ACTIVITIES (FEES NOT INCLUDED) | Horseback riding, walking in the countryside, tennis, mountain biking, golf. |
| SPECIAL FEATURE | Under the direction of Countess Paola Corsini, spectacular flower arrangements made with fresh and dried flowers in a series of lovely compostitions to adorn the home and table. |
| ACCOMODATIONS | Double rooms with private bath, telephone, e-mail and internet connections, maid service. Breakfast daily. |
| PARTICIPANTS | Six to eight participants in the class. |
| DATES OFFERED | March - July, September - November. Special requests for particular dates are possible. |
| DURATION OF COURSE | Seven (7) days, arriving Monday and departing on the following Sunday. |
| RESERVATIONS | Sixty (60) days before the first day of the course, reservations may be made by e-mail or fax. |
| PRICE PER PERSON | $1,925 US includes airport transfer service from Torino airport, insurance, all materials for the cooking classes, accomodations, breakfast daily, guided tours, lunch buffet, dinner, wine and grappa tastings, and membership fees. |
| PAYMENT | Due upon reservation. |
| PARTICIPATION | Available only to guests of La Corte Chiusa. |
