the Chaos All-Stars

(Chaos)

*Anything that will fit on the roster Allies*

As most folks know, the world is a very strange place, full to the very brim with weird and wonderful things. Around the turn of the century, some of the weird and wonderful things decided to form a football team....

So goes the standard intro for the (in)famous Chaos All-Stars. In the last 2 years, the team has taken a few lumps and metamorphosis into the lineup taking the field today. Most significant, of course, was the addition of Daht L Ooeul, a young Dark Elf from a small rural community just to the south of Naggaroth. At first Daht seemed more a problem than a help, his tremendous ego and habit of hogging the ball and limelight a distraction to the rest of the team, but this was not your average Dark Elf. Daht quickly distinguished himself as THE man in the league, regularly scoring 3 TD's a game on his own (he currently boasts well over 100!), and running roughshod over any defensive line unlucky enough to try and stop him. The rest of the team were no slouches either, with (as always) Morg'th N' H'throg, Hawkfire, Hrull and other veterans making the All-Stars one of the early league's top teams, culminating in a spectacular win at Chaos Cup I (where Daht scored all 4 TD's for his side).

Eventually, tho, the talent on the All-Stars showed some strain. As Daht's accomplishments grew, his ego continued to inflate proportionately. At one point he decided to play an exhibition match against the entire Storm Hammer squad by himself! (he DID lose, of course, 3-4 in OT). Soon Daht found himself butting heads even with team captain Morg'th over the #1 slot in the roster. Eventually owner Prince Dorian let Daht go, and Daht (along with hometown pal and fellow All-Star Vlarn Headhunter) formed the even more (in)famous National Disaster.

With Daht and Vlarn gone, however, the All-Stars stalled, even having thier slot in title seasons taken by National Disaster, and eventually disbanded. Morg'th tried his hand on a few short-lived stunty teams, the rest landing jobs as color men and assistant coaches.

Then, after the Kings of Chaos became reigning Chaos Cup champions, and the All-Stars had all but faded from the scene entirely, National Disaster was itself struck by disaster as the Apokalype tribe of savage orcs who made up almost half the team revolted against the neighboring Dark Elves, which caused National Disaster to lose over 1/3 of it's players, and created the Orc team Apokalypse Waaagh!.

And so it happened, as Daht L Ooeul was drowning his sorrows at one of the many sports bars along the Tilean city-states, that he happened upon Morg'th N' H'throg. Both displeased with thier current lot, they decided to re-form their team of old, and take back what was rightfully thiers. Morg'th gathered up a new squad, including former owner Prince Dorian, a few former teammates Laxxon Hrull and Dirty Dan, and an extra veteran and former Kings of Chaos standout Withergrasp Doubledrool, and the All-Stars made a comeback, and fared reasonably well, only dropping 2 games thier first season (both to arch-nemesis Das Ubervermin). Near the end of the season, they made enough to buy out Daht's contract with the as-good-as-defunct National Disaster, and he also returned to the line up.

As it happened, tho....tragedy soon struck the team, as Daht finally met his end in a match against the Tunnel Pirates.  Undaunted, the All-Stars regrouped under Morg, and went on to win Chaos Cup III, once again on top of thier game.  Daht was even able to return, in a manner, as a newly-revived Vampire.
