France
The old Papal palace in Avignon.  It's a neat looking building, fit for a pope.  Unfortunately when the popes left in the 1400s, they took all the furnishings with them, so there's really not much to see.  That doesn't stop them from trying to charge $10 to see the place.  We recommend passing on it.
Kristen posing in front of Arles and the Rhone river.  This view is the same one which inspired a well known Van Gogh painting.
This is Carcassonne, by far the coolest place we visited in France.  Carcassonne is well known for being one of the few places in Europe with in tact medieval foritifications.  This city has been the set in most of the medieval films out there.
Eric is very excited about having a gigantic, authentic castle behind him.  This was our approach to the castle, and as you can see, Eric is giddy about the whole thing.
Eric is a giant!  Ok, not really.  But isn't this a cool picture?
