This is the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece cathedral in Barcelona.  Construction began again recently after sitting incomplete for over 50 years.  Even incomplete, it's really impressive, and they let you walk around most of the site, while the construction crews work nearby.
This is the view from the towers of the Sagrada Familia.  If you're wondering why Eric looks so concerned here, it's because those towers are capable of inspiring vertigo and claustrophobia in even the most stoic individual.  The way up is a tight spiral stair case with no room to maneuver around the other people (once you start up, you can't go back down till you get to the top).  All along the staircase, are windows with no glass, no guardrails and plenty of space for people to fall out.  Plus they're angled to give you a view straight down to the pavement.
The Plaza de Catalonia in Barcelona.  Aside form being very pretty, we had great fun watching the marble polishing machine terrorize the pigeon mobs.
The sun setting over the Cascada fountain in Barcelona.  Those staircases on the sides lead up to a balcony which is very popular for making out.
Kristen in front of the Palacio Real in Madrid.  We spent a lot of time in Madrid, so you might be wondering why we don't have more pictures of it?  Most of our time was spent in the Prado, and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (Spain's premiere art museums).  We highly recommend Madrid by the way.  It was definitely the most pleasant place we stayed.  The hotel was nice, the food was excellent, the people were friendly (and we could actually talk to most of them), and there's lots to see and do.
