About Grandparents Parenting . . . Again

HISTORY
Grandparents Parenting . . . Again was founded in 1995 by Anne Pierce when she became a parent to her two grandsons. When she returned home to Santa Rosa, California she found there was nowhere in the county she could go for the unique type of support that was needed for grandparents raising their grandchildren.
Since the time the support group began, it became apparent that much more was needed in the way of services and information for kinship care providers.
In 1998, in order to grow with the need and be better able to coordinate efforts, Pierce established Grandparents Parenting...Again as a nonprofit organization.
Grandparents Parenting . . . Again is lucky to have a wonderful Board of Directors, and we are always looking for people who are
interested in what we do to help set policy and the direction of our services.

We are currently looking for professionals in the fields of accounting and marketing as well as volunteers to assist with events.
