This is a 6-week class for those wanting to explore using Illustrator to produce graphics for the web. Students should have completed both the Intermediate Illustrator-B and the Creating Web Pages-1 classes prior to this class. This is not an art or design class, nor will we cover advanced HTML or programming. Topics will include creating customized PDF, GIF, JPEG, SWF, and SVG files. We will cover setting up Illustrator to work in a web environment as well as symbols, image maps, slicing, releasing to layers and exporting to Flash, creating simple animations, and integrating Image Ready. Each class includes a hands-on project where you will continue to explore other Illustrator tools.
