IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT LETTERS:

When you submit letters to any County or State Agency demand a photocopy date-stamped receipt. This is easy to do.

Take the letter to the office in person (or send someone to go for you) and have the receptionist copy the letters and date and time stamp them.

A receipt for a registered letter through the post may be proof that you sent something, but does not reveal the contents of your communications. A photocopy of a letter with a date-stamped receiept is a record of the contents of your letter.

Such records can be decisive pieces of evidence in any possible future lawsuits. No receipt invalidates the document and it will not be allowed in Court.

Remember:

Sonoma County's Future is being decided right now.

The Board of Supervisors, The Sonoma County Permit and Resource Management Department, Sonoma County Planning Department and LAFCO are currently updating the General Plan for 2020.

They are making profound changes that will alter the way you live. But you do have a say in this process IF you go to meetings, write letters and participate!
