About the Band

Connie Ducey is a crowd-pleasing performer and vocalist, active professionally for over 25 years, singing a wide range of musical style, rock to blues to pop to jazz! Some recent years of performance include collaborations with The Klein Trio, with many fine pianists in a duo at The Flytrap Restaurant in San Francisco, as a featured vocalist with the Judy Hall Trio at The Seafood Peddler in San Rafael, work with pianist Richard Riccardi and bassist Mario Suraci at the Hotel Griffon in San Francisco, and duo performances with great jazz touch guitar player, Randy Strom.

Levi Hooks is a versatile drummer with a flair for Latin grooves and jazz. He performed with several groups in his hometown of Cincinnati before relocating to Northern California, then stretching to punk rock in the group the "Cribbleys." Credits include collaborations with pianist/vocalist Dori Green, sessions with Natalie Cole, and many local musical theatre show orchestras.

Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Kurt Huget has entertained audiences at numerous local performances over the years in a diverse range of musical settings, working both as a professional musician and a volunteer performer for Bread & Roses. In addition to being a member of "Namely Us," he also performs with his very fine alternative-country band, "Moonlight Rodeo," and provides musical support for local theatre productions.

Brian Jones is a bassist and dedicated musician with a broad range of styles, such as pop and jazz with "Safe Harbor" and jazz with "Five Down." He has had a long-time association performing for Bread & Roses. Brian also plays trombone with the legendary "Las Gallinas Non-Marching Sewer Band," a local favorite.

Talented jazz pianist and composer Mike Klein also performs regularly in the Bay Area and beyond with The Klein Trio, which includes his twin brother, Spike, on drums. He has studied with pianists Kenny Barron and Si Perkoff.
