Cool-rack sits on top of a hot component, pulls the heated air out of it, and forces it out the rear of the rack.
Cool-rack™, like it's cousins in the "Cool-"family, uses high quality axial fans turning at much slower than normal speed. By using four slowly-turning 120 mm fans, rather than one turning at a high speed, noise is greatly reduced and the area from which hot air is removed is greatly increased. Measuring 15" wide by 13" deep (excluding exhaust tubes) by only 3" high, it can be placed on top of many rack-mounted amplifiers without stealing any front panel space from the rack by placing shallower components above the heat-producing amplifiers.
Don't just move the hot air up and around inside a rack -- move it OUT, and protect heat-sensitive equipment.
Optional modules are available to provide 12 volt trigger or thermostatic control and can be added at any time.
