I plan to enroll 40-66 students into this class. This means that I may need to turn away a number of students.
I attempt to resolve enrollment issues very quickly but given that amount of coming-and-going of students and our own administrative challenges, it can take 10-14 days.
In order to give us room to manage the list, we block a large number of students from enrolling in the initial stages of registration. This is a automatic process and does not suggest that you are not qualified for the class or are "low on the list" for enrollment. If you are interested in the class, you should join the waitlist and, if the waitlist is full, come to the first class anyway.
After classes begin, I will be manually moving students off the waitlist into enrollment. I will enroll students from the waitlist with the below things in mind (in addition to the conditions mentioned in the overview on the other Web page). The list suggests, more or less, the priority of the element:
There are other considerations besides those above that are part of the mix and can't really be prioritized as accurately.
