Tansy's Assorted Art Bits

I'm reworking my portfolio again, but here are some bits and pieces in the meantime.  Click on an image for a larger (but still occasionally ragged) version.  Enjoy!
Philodendron, created with 3D Studio and hidden somewhere in the scenery of Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 4.  This flamingo dances at the end of one of the games in Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 9.  I assembled him from other bird parts and animated him in 3DS Max. In a bid to get the contract for a Goosebumps game, we sent them this odd little creature based on a character in the Goosebumps series.  I sculpted him with polymer clay, but he was too much fun not to include here.
The main screen from Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 9.  I was art director, and the modeling and rendering was done by View By View. A screen from a typing game in Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 8.  I was art director for this version also, and one of the designers of the game.  The 3D work was done by Slingshot Productions. I was the software art director for the American Greetings line of print products (working with an American Greetings art director from their site).  I created initial sketches and oversaw production, and the art was produced by Red Hill Studios and additional contractors.
This began as a pencil drawing of my Night Blooming Cereus, which then took a slight detour through Adobe Photoshop. A shield design, created with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I have been spending a lot of time making costumes in the last few years, so when I had the chance to do some bronze casting recently, this was the result.  Cast using lost wax ceramic shell process, and assembled.
