Traditional Octave Mandolin

We've taken our Octave Mandolin back to it's roots, and reintroduced a line designed from traditional Celtic models.  These mandolins are made from all solid woods.  We select only choice spruce with tight, uniform grain.  Back and sides are made from hard maple and the neck is mahogany, that is shaped for maximum comfort  We use the traditional X-braced soundboard but outfit the instrument with an adjustable trussrod for modern reliability. Other features include mulit-ply body binding, rosewood fretboard and bridge, a compensated saddle, and high quality chrome plated tuning machines.  We use a traditional Celtic knotwork design for the headstock inlay.
