Color Theory and Wheels

Color theory analyzes the complexities of how colors relate to each other. Over the years, artists have developed color wheels based on color theory to help them create appealing color combinations and harmonies. A color wheel represents the spectrum joined end to end in a circle so that the violet and red ends meet. Notice that the colors on the RGB color wheel are in different positions than the traditional RYB color wheel.

If you would to have your own color wheel software, check out this product: Color Wheel Pro.
