The time we had really didn't do our touring justice. The buildings are so large and had such detail that just to visit all of the city's sights would take a month. Unfortunately, we only had time to view many of these sights from the outside. The care in the detail of many of the buildings exteriors had me thinking of the time and the expense in the building. We did get a good feel for the city and by the last day felt very comfortable travelling the Underground. There was still no comfort for me to be driving there though! |
| We enjoyed sending our daily photos back to our family and friends via an internet cafe close to the hotel. We could also check in on our little one (Mitz, our dog) back at home. I enjoyed not feeling rushed on this trip and I think all of us got quite a bit of exercise, but it's always nice to be home on our own pillows. |  | |
