We stayed close to the hotel for dinners. We naturally expected to see fish and chips on most menus, but were surprised to see quite a variety of eateries as we walked the neighborhood, including, "Cafe Bekki", Italian and our family's favorite.
Our first stop after breakfast was usually to the Underground station to buy a family day pass. The Underground had stations within 5 five minutes of anywhere we wanted to go. We spent most of the second day at the Tower of London. The Tower has many buildings and unfortunately we ran out of energy before seeing it all. We did get to see the Crown Jewels and that evening came back to witness the, "Ceremony of the Keys", a 700 year old tradition, locking the Tower for the night.
