Visionary Forestry
Our forest is a genetically intact remnant of one of the Earth's great rainforests. Our primary objective is articulating visionary landscapes. Even with continual harvesting, we enhance biological diversity and economic value.

Wetland and Riparian Habitat
A salmon-bearing creek winds through the bottomlands of Wild Thyme Farm. Reforesting riparian buffer zones and creating ponds and wetlands are ongoing projects to enhance the aquatic community.

A private arboretum and retreat center near Olympia Washington. These 150 acres of forests, meadows, gardens, orchards and streams represent an evolving model of permaculture, visionary forestry, biological diversity.

Agroforestry and Ecological Design
We are developing agroforestry systems as models for the sustainable production of food and timber resources. Three case studies are bamboo, food forests and riparian.

Permaculture and Biodiversity
Permaculture promotes a diversity of species interacting as one community, leading to greater health for all. We share biodiversity through herbal products, edible flowers, specialty foods and recipes.
