The Philosopher's Stone
Recovering the Perennial Paradigm
Investigations into Science, Art, and Metaphysics with emphasis on
models from the ancient world's monumental works of Art. Appeal will be made
to the objects themselves as repositories of an ancient but presently unrealized
paradigm. Our pursuit will invoke the language of the builders, architects and
artists of the world who have tapped a perennial realm of harmony--the language
of number form and measure. Most importantly we will demonstrate that a
once successful scientific paradigm and its attendant structure of values
has been recovered. The key to accessing this paradigm is the instrument we will refer
to as the Essential Canon of Measure.
Saturn: Source of Measure
An archaic canon of measure evolved from observations of Earth's geometric and astronomical correspondences with the planet Saturn. The ringed planet, known to the ancients as Kronos, time keeper of the solar system, is icon and informer of this canon.
Anatomy of the King's Chamber Part II: The Coffer
Architectural Nucleus of the Great PyramidStandard of Measure, Material and Sound. Hear the sound of the coffer yourself as jazz artist Paul Horn tunes his flute to the pitch of the sarcophagus.
How the inferential aspects of architecture defer to the unseen message of the architect. Examples will include:
The Lion Gate at Mycenae
The Intihuatanas at Macchu Picchu and San Miguel
Chapel of the Holy Cross at Sedona, Arizona
The Great Pyramid of Cheops
Other Obelisks Worthy of Note
Archaic Chinese Jade works
The Nature of Nature.
"The laws of Nature are not statements about Nature but statements about Framework."
J.G. Bennett. Revisiting basic assumptions in physics with questions involving framework. Topics to include:
Can the Laws of Gravity be broken?
Where does "the Field" come from?
Out-Laws of the Pendulum.
Capturing the Ubiquitous Plumb-bob.
Precession is not a four letter word.
Honor thy Foucoult and thy Latitude.
The twelfth planet returns.
Atlantis: Looking in All the Wrong Places
The Kingdom of Atlantis is at Hand, its closer than you think, and there's more than one. Some hints we've found:
Herodotus, The Father of Liars, told us where to look.
Plato's Critias and Timaeus say it in black and white.
Lhasa is older than she looks.
$1.91 says its on the Giza Plateau.
