CAREER PROGRAMS
Career Certificates are intended to certify that students successfully completing this program are prepared to enter the careers associated with this certificate. They usually take at least one to two years to complete. These programs are approved by the California Community College Chancellor's Office. For current information consult SRJC catalog, or contact the Art Department Chair.
PROGRAM
The Art Certificate Program at Santa Rosa Junior College consists of 30 units. Students must complete the required 18 units from the Art Core and 12 units from one of the areas of concentration. Upon satisfactory completion of the required course work, a Certificate of Completion in Art will be awarded. Students must apply for this certificate at the Office of Admissions and Records early in the semester in which they expect to complete the requirements. Students wishing to receive a Certificate of Completion in Art, and the AA Degree, must complete a total of 60 units, as specified in the Associate Degree General Education Pattern.
REQUIREMENTS:
30 units are required for all certificates The specific requirements for each certificate are effective Fall 2001. and are shown below. If you began working on this certificate before the effective semester, you may not be affected by any changes to the program. Consult with a counselor or Contact Person to determine your eligibility to complete the certificate under previous requirements.
