About WineTrails™

Wine Trails What's that wine like? Who is the winemaker? What vineyards do the grapes come from? What was the vintage like? How many years does a wine need to age? What is the current state of the wine industry in Napa Valley, Sonoma, and the various appellations in California?

These are just a few of the questions clients have been asking me since I began my career as a Wine Broker over ten years ago. From that experience Wine Trails was created to bring you a behind the scenes, visual presentation featuring cutting edge winemakers, wine country events and wineries in videotape and DVD describing “The Art of Wine”.

In the latest DVD you will meet Napa Valley winemaker extraordinaire Heidi Barrett who has been at the forefront of the Cult Wine phenomenon. You will also want to check out another episode of “The Art of Wine”. featuring another Napa Valley winemaker, Gary Galleron who has been called one of the new breed of winemakers making exceptional wines. Finally, take a look at the Special Offer where you can Save $$ by getting both episodes in our Combo Pack.

Join Wine Trails from the comfort of your living room as we take you through "the crush", barrel tastings, bottlings, and special wine country events including the world famous Napa Valley Wine Auction.

George Bato gb@winetrails.net

George Bato is the architect and Managing Member of Wine Trails, LLC. He has been a Wine Broker and Marketing Consultant with the Russian River Wine Company in Healdsburg since 1994, and has a successful track record of marketing fine wines for hundreds of wineries. His experience in the marketing of wine has placed him in a position where he has come to know various winemakers, grape growers, winery owners, and other prominent individuals involved in the wine industry. Just as important, his exposure and interaction with collectors and consumers of wine puts George in a position to see where the wine industry is heading.

His vision of providing a behind-the-scenes program of the wine industry, of educating the public about wine, demystifying wine, and promoting the wine industry to the public at large are being realized with the production of “The Art of Wine” “What I've seen develop in the last 10-plus years is a growing and insatiable appetite by the public to know the details behind that bottle of wine they love so much", says Bato. "Wine producers are also looking for alternative ways to get their story in front of the wine-consuming public rather than merely relying on shelf-talkers. I can't think of a better way to get this information to people than to bring the wine country into their living rooms through an attractive, professionally-made audio/visual presentation. No one can tell the story behind the wine better than the winemakers, vineyard managers and principles, in their own words.”
