Thanks to that naughty boy Michael (yeah you), I have rediscovered comic books. But this time I have left Archie, Betty and the rest of the gang behind. I've discovered comics with a more adult
flavor.
Jesse Custer, the Preacher, is a man of the cloth who has lost his faith. Now he's on a mission to find God, and I'm not just speaking figuratively here. Seems the Big Man has taken off and left no forwarding address. Jesse has the help of his girlfriend Tulip and another friend, Cassidy, an Irish vampire.

Warrior Nun Areala. "The year is 1066 and a convent comes under attack by Vikings. Only one survivor of the attack manages to escape into the woods. Unfortunately for her, she is persued by the Vikings who intend to kill her... or worse. However, just as things look their worst, a Valkyrie descends from the sky and saves her. The Valkyrie has converted and begins the class of fighters known as the "Warrior Nuns." Their mission is to combat evil and all the forces of Hell. With the aid of the "Magic Priests," the Warrior Nuns provide the thin line of defense between Earth and the power of Hell. Every once in a while a Warrior Nun will arise who proves to be exceptional. When it is deemed so, that nun may adopt the power and name of the first Warrior Nun: Areala." She also gets the skimpy outfit that makes it easier to fight the bad guys.
