Foss Creek Project
The Foss Creek Community Restoration Project will be a long-term restoration project on Foss Creek with the goal of turning Foss Creek from its present condition into a community asset. The Foss Creek Trail project will focus the community's attention of the creek and we aim to improve its health as we open it up to the community. The project will be a joint effort of Friends of the Russian River (FORR) and the Redwood Chapter of Trout Unlimited (TU) and the city and community of Healdsburg. Don McEnhill, FORR Executive Director and Riverkeeper along with Kent MacIntosh, Chapter President of TU will provide project funding, direction, grant writing and seek additional funding for the project. Harold Hahn, John Essman, Kathleen Palmer, Judith Jasko, John Iverson, Peggy Maddock, Mayor Mike McGuire and many other Healdsburg residents are making this project happen!
