Welcome to the rodsager.com weather blog. All weather statistics have been gathered at my location in East Vancouver since 2002 unless otherwise noted. It is 13.24 miles Northeast of Portland, OR in Clark County, Washington, at 45-40' N by 122-31' W and 268 feet above mean sea level. I am at the base of the Cascade foothills 8.49 miles WNW from Downtown Vancouver. Temperatures here are typically a touch cooler, in general by 1-3 degrees. This difference is likely caused by my proximity to the Cascade foothills in a less dense, suburban area on the outer edge of the city.  This is a wind sheltered area.
