blank JOURNAL day 7 (at sea)

Andrew lesson Today was the only day we ate at all three main dining seatings. The kids went to Camp Carnival to watch the kids talent show rehearsal while we went to the Newlywed & Not-So-Newlywed game in the Mikado. The two ended at about the same time and as arranged by Ike, the Romeo & Juliet lounge drummer, we met for my son, Andrew's lesson. I thought that was a genuinely nice gesture by Ike and I know it will be the highlight of Andrew's trip.

Captain Buddy To the right is Captain Buddy. He introduced himself to us as we were eating pizza and he asked us how our cruise was going. We assumed he was some sort of customer relations staff person. Then from talking to him he told us he was a major shareholder in Carnival stock and he was interested in his investment. He was quite an interesting character and definitely one whom we won't forget.

We were told that our bags had to be outside our rooms by midnight so we spent a little time before dinner organizing our belongings. Mikado Our last dinner in the Inspiration dining room was an American selection including prime rib, baked turkey, blackened pork chop, lasagna, and seafood Newbury. Dessert was a choice of apple pie, blackberry cobbler, and chocolate cake. After dinner, the Mikado hosted a trio of entertainers. There was a comedian, a magician, and we really enjoyed the juggler. We didn't have much time after the show but we did want toSuitcases have one last dance in the Romeo & Juliet lounge and say our, "Goodbyes". We still had some packing to do before getting our bags into the halls. The hallways looked the same as they did when we arrived, filled with suitcases at each doorway. We got our's out and were in for the night.
