We're here today to drink and to eat And honor those with purple lips and feet It's Winemaker's Day! The first of its kind A casual morn to kick back and unwind. September is here - it's time to pick fruit No time to dress up in a tie or a suit. Hope they remember to take time to eat Will we see them for the Halloween Treat? When Thanksgiving comes, we gather in thanks They'll be out checking those stainless steel tanks. When we are singing our Christmas carols They'll be checking the wooden barrels. Time and talent and years of technique Produce these wines so very unique. We are the chosen who know the makers Whose wines far surpass those screw top fakers.
