Welcome to USAFishing's Kenai
Peninsula Vacation Rental

Description:
Our centrally located three bedroom, two bath vacation
home sits in the heart of the Kenai peninsula on three
acres.
The house is fully
equipped and you need to bring only your family or fishing buddies to spend a week in what is in
the top ten of fishing grounds in the world.
The home comfortably sleeps 6+ with two bedrooms and two full
baths on the lower level and a large loft on
the second level.
The kitchen is fully equipped and you will find everything
you would expect from a stocked pantry, coffee maker, microwave to
an outdoor gas barbeque to cook your catch. There is a
washer and dryer so you can pack light and a dial up internet connection to stay connected.
We offer all our guests an in-depth seminar where we
will spend a couple of hours going over tackle, maps,
fishing areas and best places to fish during your trip.
(Be
sure to ask us how your group can qualify for free flights
through Alaska airlines.)
Location,
Location, Location!
The home sits in a
wilderness setting but is only a half hour drive south of
the Kenai airport and an incredibly scenic three hours drive
south of Anchorage. Set on over two wilderness acres just
beyond the
ocean bluffs of Cook Inlet.
Rivers, Rivers, Rivers
There are five rivers within a 30 minute drive that all offer incredible
bank fishing for salmon, rainbows and steelhead. It's only a 10 minute drive to the Kasilof
River, 20 minutes north to the world famous Kenai or south
to the Ninilchik River and Deep Creek
(where the halibut charters launch) and the fly-fishers haven the Anchor River
is about 30 minutes south.
Salmon Runs:
The timing and size of the salmon runs vary river to river
on the peninsula but peak fishing is June through mid
September. Several salmon runs overlap and provide exciting
combo action. Ocean
king salmon action is best in the early summer May through
mid June while silvers are abundant July through August and
halibut is good throughout the Spring and Summer. Bank access and fishing opportunities are unlimited and we
can point you in the right direction for a very possible 30
plus fish day of salmon, huge rainbow
trout and dollies.
The size of the rivers and target species varies from
chasing silvers on the Ninilchik which is only as big as a
mountain stream to kings on the Kenai where both the fish
and the river are BIG. Daily salmon limits are 6 salmon in
combination but vary river to river depending on the species
and season.
Some of the best razor clam beds in the world
(limits are very generous at 60 clams pp) are just a five
minute walk out the back door and
buckets, shovels and clam guns are provided.
Guided salmon trips on the Kenai and Kasilof
Rivers and halibut charters are all near-by and we can hook
you up with some of the best local guides and salt water
operations. Fly-out trips are available in Kenai,
Soldotna and
Homer.
Our goal is to make your fishing vacation dreams a reality
and have our guests return year after year.
